Yes, I know, you will tell me to search for Cyberpunk related works on Wikipedia or google "Cyberpunk Movies/Videogames/Books/etc." to find an already list with them.

No true I must say.

For example did you know this game is Cyberpunk Theme?

or this sequel? You know this game, but did you ever thought of this aa a Cyberpunk?

Or this recent game that you play as a bartender?

That why we need a more complete List to have here from any kind of Media: Videogames/Movies/Comics/etc

Below will be the list for you to check. I will try at first to put the most well known Cyberpunk Theme works and then put the most unknown among them.

Cheers!!!!

I'm not sure how Blood 2 is cyberpunk. I don't know about the other two, though, but cyberpunk needs to focus on how new technology ruins the world. In the case of Blood 2, the world gets wrecked because some crazy cultists managed to fuck up the whole dimension. Sure, it's a slightly futuristic setting but the focus is not on how technology fucked us. It's dark sci-fi perhaps, but I don't think it's cyberpunk.

True, true, however the same goes with ShadowRun if you think about it.
In ShadowRun this specific World had been created cause of the immersion of the world of Magic and world of Technology to be VERY simple.
The same goes for "The Longest Journey" as well.
And yes, The Longest Journey is a Cyberpunk game. There is no deny of that.

Well there is that unsuccessful game Syndicate and that anime Bubblegum Crisis.

Also there are these but I'm not sure if it count as cyberpunk-
Transistor (ok clothing wise it isn't).
Dominion tank police.
Batman Beyond

Cyberpunk is mostly about corporate warfare, and CabalCo in Blood 2 is not just a cult, but a megacorp of sorts. So thechnically it fits. People treated as lab rats, megacorps ruling the world and futuristic aesthetic.
Actually, with this Logic, can we call Killer Instinct Videogames a Cyberpunk game?
The whole plot of this game is around a Megacorp creating weapons for the other gangs/organisations to fight themselves.
I know, it is a long shot, but I just saying....

And of course we have the (currently vaporware) game 'Cyberpunk 2077' that's (supposed to be) coming from CD Projekt RED, based on a tabletop of the same name.

Never get sick of this teaser. I've been jonsing for this sort of shit since I finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution (which should also be on this list).

I had already plans to include the franchise in the list, but I am not very quick.
the original is "Cyberpunk 2020".

Well, we can always call it "cyberpunk influence" or something like that.

For the list:
System Shock and System Shock 2
Teleglitch
Anachronox
Shadowrun franchise

Also there's the cyberpunk jam [http://itch.io/jam/cyberpunk-jam].
Yep, here I saw the game VA-11 HALL-A. The difference is VA-11 HALL-A will become a full game ^^

I love Cyberpunk, it's great. Although actually I prefer Post-Cyberpunk [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PostCyberPunk]. It isn't as dystopian as regular cyberpunk or as utopian as other sci-fi, it's a world with good and bad things like the real world, which I like.

For the list:
Eclipse Phase
Dollhouse
Ergo Proxy

Seriously though if you want a good list just look up Cyberpunk on TV Tropes. TV Tropes is a really good Gateway Drug.

I checked and it didn't had VA-11 HALL-A.
The list in TV Trope need a lot of work.
We will fix it in this Thread.

True, true, however the same goes with ShadowRun if you think about it.
In ShadowRun this specific World had been created cause of the immersion of the world of Magic and world of Technology to be VERY simple.
In Shadowrun, cybernetics pretty much eat away at your soul. Computers fry people's brains regularly. The digital drugs are rampant and offer the a bleak escape from the awful world. The downtrodden are the SINless, who are called such because they just don't show up in a giant database somewhere, thus they aren't afforded status as, you know, actual people.

And more - I don't really know that much about Shadowrun, to be honest, these are just from the top of my head, but I doubt that's the full extent of technology screwing the humanity and metahumanity alike in Shadowrun, so I don't really see it the same as Blood 2, where aliens invade Half-Life style because of Lovecraftian monstrosities.

No, not really. It's a theme that is explored by relatively a lot of cyberpunk fiction, but it is not a requirement. It makes as much sense as saying "Fantasy is about elves". Elves are there because Tolkien had them, corporations are there because Gibson had them. Cyberpunk, by its very name, is about technology and how it leads to, or perhaps rather helps with, the breakdown of society. That's it "technology" and "breakdown", it's what "cyber" and "punk" refer to in the name.

Transhumanism is about how technology will eventually help us overcome the problems that have, up until now, been endemic to human nature. Cyberpunk is about how technology won't.
Cyberpunk destroyed science fiction.

Science fiction was about man's potential. Science fiction was about how man could reach out and touch the stars. We could be better. We could be worse. All we needed was the technology.

Cyberpunk was not that. Cyberpunk said man would be the same damn bastard he always was, he'd have the same problems he always did, and worst of all? He'd still be happy with it. In those days, cyberpunk was arcologies and AIs. Built-in shades and monomolecular razor-wire.

Seems a little silly now, right? The technology didn't turn out that way. But the world did. Technology is pervasive and invasive and amazing and all it has done is made us more who we were before.
These are two of my favourite quotes on cyberpunk which I feel manage to portray it nicely. Similarly, steampunk, and clockworkpunk are about the same overal ideas - technology leading to the society's downfall, but the base technology is different than the slightly futuristic one present in cyberpunk.

Surprised it's taken this long for someone to mention the William Gibson novels of the cyberpunk genre. Very influential to the whole genre, and really good reads for the most part.

Might have to find them and read them again actually. I feel a slight tingly itch for some cyberpunk stuff.

Do you mean the Neuromancer series?

You should add Psycho-Pass and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers to the list. A lot of the mainline SMT series actually kind of works in the genre, but Soul Hackers is by far the best fit.

Cyberpunk, and to a greater degree post-cyberpunk (which I didn't know was a separate thing until today) is actually my favourite subgenre of science fiction. I personally think that the near-future setting (relatively) generally lends a sense of realism to the proceedings, as long as they keep things on Earth, and I am fascinated by the prospect of improving the body with technology, as much within the genre features.

Eeeehhh...you are right again. The lack of informations I have for Blood 2 about its world is problematic, I must admit.
However there are plenty of works that can been described as Cyberpunk without follow this rule you wrote.
Mostly I am talking about the "feeling" a title have.
Also there is CthulhuPunk [Bless you Oh Mighty Spoony One].
Combination of Cyberpunk with the Horrors of Lovecrafting Creatures.
