No no, I didnt say the party scene was excessive, what I meant by my statement was they just left it at that. He threw her out the window, Batman leaped out, they fell on the hood of the car, and then it was the next scene. No conclusion whatsoever to the Party scene.

I saw the film, I loved it. Sure there were a few little bad points, like it felt more like a bunch of episodes strung together rather than a movie. I found myself getting ready to leave around 4 times in that movie, filled with disappointment, then my friend grabbed me and said "Wait, look, there's more!" and so I sat on down and watched with glee as Heath Ledger acted psycho for another hour or so. Now I am on the edge of my seat once more because they're bashing around the idea of yet another movie, this one focusing on The Riddler, but to be honest I would accept a piss poor excuse like "The Joker had facial re-constructive surgery" just to see the CHARACTER of The Joker again, but I know that will never happen.

May I just say; Johnny Depp for The Riddler? WTF?

hey Rath709... erm... Why so serious?

LOL Couldn't resist, but in all fairness the film was amazing
I had been waiting for exactly that comment actually, well done.

I personally think that the Joker carried that whole movie.
The first time I saw the movie I thought "WOW! This is a greatest thing ever!"
After watching it a second time I found myself realising that it was almost like the makers realised that the joker was the only gem in the whole movie and decided to focus on him the whole time and not have a complete story, or much of anything else for that matter.
The movie is good... That's it

I didn't think the movie was so good.
It tries to be serious but fails.
I have a hard time taking a movie about a man with a cape calling himself Batman, fighting a man with makeup called the Joker seriously.
Batman isn't meant to be serious.

Well to start off, That was a pretty bad review, you should support your arguments a bit to lend credence to your viewpoint.

And this is what happens when an unfounded and unproven opinion is put on a forum:

"its uhm. its a movie, and your just an opinion on a screen, and i'm just sittin here with my coke. so uhm...
what do you expect me to do about it. o_o"

I just saw it for the second time in the theater tonight.

and all the people I went with LOVED it, even the guy who couldn't speak english

so it really can't be that bad.

A bit overrated perhaps. It won't heal your leprosy or walk on water, but it's a freaking great movie.

People said "Heath ledger as joker? Are you "joking"?!" and then he blows everyone's minds away.

Johnny Depp is an excellent actor though, I mean, seeing things like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and and the hundreds of other movie's he's been in, I really feel like the guy can do almost anything he sets his mind to.

Also, I remember Morgon Freeman saying "Well, that armor should do fine up against..a pissed off cat maybe, but not a dog" - Well, then Mr. Wayne won't have to worry about CATWOMAN now will he?! bwahaha.

The movie had a mountain of flaws no doubt.
But its no doubt one of my favorite films of all time, The Joker is without a doubt the craziest and most brilliantly performed villain I have ever seen (except for the dude from No country for old men).
Heath Ledgers death aside, not even the biggest devils advocate can deny how exciting the scene becomes the moment he comes on screen.
Harvey Dent got a raw deal in terms of screen time, and I really wish they had saved him for the next movie like Joker was revealed at the end of Batman Begins.

In closing, we know it wasn't perfect don't be a curmudgeon
