So what's the verdict, folks? As a gamer who's got 1000G in Skyrim and played it for almost 150 hours, on Dawnguard is it worth dropping 1600 Microsoft Points?
I'm still broke so it doesn't matter.Sober Thal said:Would you pay $20 for an expansion?Fijiman said:I don't have money so I can't get it anyway. Plus I'm not too attached to the idea of shelling out 20 bucks for DLC anyway, even if it is Skyrim.
Cuz, like... duh... that's what this is. Eh?

Don't worry, the next one will probably be focused on dragons or the Blades or wizardy -- something equally as badass as Dawnguard. ooo, maybe.. Oblivion? :Ogideonkain said:What's really eerie to me is this love-fest over Vampires and Werewolves.
Twilight comes out, it's totally shit, and now Magic the Gathering and The Elder Scrolls wrap themselves in that old, frayed blanket.
Besides the bases for each faction there are two new areasimahobbit4062 said:I'm interested in how many new areas they've added. Or is it more like Knights Of The Nine where there is only a few new buildings?
People around where I live would probably pay me $60 to mow their lawn.Sober Thal said:Instead of having a day off, go get a shit job. You can work there for one day and make enough money to buy a new game/week.
TES had vampires and werewolves before Twilight. Even their werewolf expansion was released before Twilight. I doubt their vampire expansion is a Twilight cash in.gideonkain said:What's really eerie to me is this love-fest over Vampires and Werewolves.

Dawnguard also get the vampire lord form, at the end of the MQ.ruedyn said:I like it, but I see no reason to even play the Dawnguard faction. Us vamps get a new form, countless powers, the cooler castle, the babe, and sweet ass looking armor. Dawnguard gets... a crossbow I guess, but I can get that anyway from killing their dumb asses. I suppose when I run out of dawnguardians to kill, my crossbow will be useless, but I'm having trouble giving a damn when I can turn into a flock of bats and feed on a person NOT SLEEPING! Only took 3 games to learn that skill but whatever.
Also: Twilight has fairies and shapeshifters, not vampires and werewolvesTehCookie said:TES had vampires and werewolves before Twilight. Even their werewolf expansion was released before Twilight. o_o ... well shit. Time to redo on my other character. Was going to do that anyways, but now I have to do it sooner so as to not appear an uninformed jackass.SajuukKhar said:Dawnguard also get the vampire lord form, at the end of the MQ.ruedyn said:I like it, but I see no reason to even play the Dawnguard faction. If you get Lord Harkon's daughter to be your friend she can stay over at Dawnguard fortress and turn you into a vamp lord, despite you being in the dawnguard.
Also only the Dawnguards get the improved steel crossbow, the dwemer crossbow, and the improved dwemer crossbow, yu cant loot them anywhere.
there is literally no reason not to join teh dawnguard
