I wish it (and the original series) were available on Netflix. I loved the series something fierce. Incredible overarching storyline and some truly great imagination behind it...

Well damn, now I want to go and watch the series from the start.
Some anime sites have the series, as it is an anime. Some of the better ones might have them in both subbed and dubbed too.

I watched it last year. The director went on to do The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars (both of which I loved) so I figured I should give it another try. It was kind of a mess. Two very disjointed narratives, the first of which ends up being a bit of a let-down as far as interactions within the original cast go. I know that the stories are connected via the villain and that one kid Willis, or whatever his name was, but it really feels like they should've taken one of the two and fleshed it out, rather than jamming both stories in there.

I went and saw it in Theaters and I remember it well, and of course I got it on VHS when it came out, I always really liked what I considered the first part (from the opening until the part in the OP.) The second part with the second gen Digimon never really interested me. To me Digimon was Tai Matt and the rest of the gang, after that it fell apart. I no longer own the film because all my VHS tapes were donated to charity about 4 years ago, but I do remember leaving the theater quite happy.

And yes the soundtrack was awesome.

I liked the first part with omnimon, izzy getting sick, losing the connection, bare naked ladies etc but as I didnt like digimon 02 that much I didnt like the second part.
Though we did get to see angemon and angewomons mega forms.

Wish there had been better digimon tamers movie
and one for frontier as well

What it says, digimon xros wars, which is the....6th anime I believe, after savers.
For some reason all the people from past seasons show up, I think it was a dimensional thing.

The fact that I couldn't remember the names of all the characters from seasons 1-3 made me realise how old I've gotten since I watched them o_O.

I always liked Digimon more than Pokemon. Even at a young age I appreciated the sincerity of it, like it took itself more seriously that Pokemon did.

I, uh, don't remember much else about it.
