2K have confirmed for those of us Down Under that Duke has made it through completely uncensored. There was a hazy period there when we weren't entirely sure, and 2K refused to comment, until now anyway. Rejoice at our terribly broken system!

I think there was a minor change involving a drug name or something? From what I remember I actually liked the change more, it's not a big thing.

But yes, our ratings system is absolutely shit, everything has already been said so I won't even go into it. It's not actually as bad as foreigners assume it is though. It's mainly hilarious when a game is MA 15+ when it clearly should've been an 18+ if such rating existed. A lot of the games that get banned are usually shit games that exploit immature violence as their selling point anyways, now a lot of the bullshit has been cleared since Atkinson is gone.

The L4D2 thing was some serious bullshit though. Everybody I know imported copies.
