The Dungeon (dead)

The room the group now stood in had a very shallow pool in the center of the room, pillars lined the walls of the room and a figure sat crouched in the center of the puddle.
The creature had large spikes all down its back, and a large spiked tail hung loosely floating in the water.
A low grumbling noise could be heard from the creature, and a small hissing noise could be heard from one corner of the room.

Fanderus looks to the corner to try and see what the hissing came from. "I thibk that's the drake." he whispers, not to disrupt the large creature, and points at the corner. He then looks back at the creature in the puddle and realizes the size of it. He gets slightly shocked and stumbles backwards, grabbing his spear and pointing it against the beast when he regains his balance. He looks over at the group. "Let's attack it on ten" he whispers and starts counting, waiting for a response from the others.

"Sorry Fanderus, no firebreathing. I can just see in the dark." Cystal said. "Young dragons are taught how to breath fire by their mothers. Only female dragons can breath fire, but that's besides the point. That's part of the reason why I'm trying to find my mother."

Cystal took a breath and let out a small blast of smoke. "I have fire, I just don't know how to breath it." She glanced around the room and at the corner of the room where the hiss had come from. "Sounds like my little drake." She hefted her hand-axe and gave it a few twirls before she let it fly with a almightly throw.

The axe thudded into a small body... and a loud hiss issued from the corner. A small clawed foot could be seen and this foot wasnt white, it was jet black.
The creature in the center of the room straightened, and then lifted a large scaled head, sniffing the air. A low hiss could be heard, but the creature did not move from its spot on the floor.

 

[Crayzor]

"Faaaantastic". Paran pointed his crossbow at the large shape in the centre of the room. He edged slowly around the side of the room, and took cover behind on of the pillars. "I'm ready to take this thing whenever you guys are."

 

[SoloStoffe]

"I'm ready. Attack!", he shouts before giving out a loud battlecry, as he rushes towards the creature and aims a lounge with his spear through it's stomache.

The creature easily sidesteps the human and grabs him by the throat, tossing him back into the group of adventurers before letting out a snarl.
"Leave this place or suffer."
Fanderus smashes into a wall as the others move aside so they arent hit.

"... Well crud. Better finish it off." Cystal muttered, charging around the room, past the creature in the center with her Battle Axe ready to attack the small creature in the corner. "GAROAAA!!!" She roared as she brought the Battle Axed around to strike the small creature.

Paran shook his head in dismay at the ease at which the creature had defeated Fanderus. As Crystal rushed past him, he moved out from behind the pillar, let loose a cry of anger, and fired his crossbow at the torso of the creature.

A black drake peered up at Crystal, its eyes glinting mischieviously. It opened its mouth and spat out a small jet of green liquid. The liquid began to eat away at Crystals armor and it began to melt Crystals skin.
Crystals axe cut straight through the drakes skull and the liquid stopped spraying out of the drakes mouth and the drakes body slumped down to the floor.

The creature easily dodged the arrow and and darted over to Paran. The creature quickly knocked Paran over and snarled.
"You have no buisness coming into this dungeon, leave now."

 

[SoloStoffe]

Fanderus feels as the hard stone comes in contact with his back. He slides down on the ground and sits there and watches as Crystal slices open the head of the samller creature, and as Paran fires his crossbow towards the larger creature. He tries to get back up, but the pain is to strong for him. He leans back his head and forces back a scream, then looks up again. He sees his spear laying next to him and grabs it in case something came at him.

"Feh. Acid spitter." Cystal said, quickly removing the afflicted peices of armor and using bits of her cloth shirt to wipe off the acid spit on her skin as quickly as possible before tossing the rest of it to let it melt. "I'll collect my prize later." She said, turning and charging towards the bigger target, hoping Paran's arrow would distract it for just long enough for her to get one good hack in at it's back or side.

Maybe it's just me, but after roleplaying on Neopets for years (yeah yeah yeah, chat room blah blah, it used to be a fun place to hang out when I was a little tween with no ability to free-roam the interwebs), something that's kinda come as second nature is 'forum camping', or having a board that I'm roleplaying on open in a tab at all times. Just keep refreshing the page to see if anyone has posted. Just kind of a open suggestion to everyone if they want to try it, but you're free to ignore it.

The creature ducked below Crystals axe and grabbed her by the throat, "You are her daughter? If you truly are, then rest assured you will find what you seek... but it will not be as you excpect." Hissing softly the creature let Crystal go and walked over to a spot on the wall.
Pressing his hand against the wall a small opening, barely large enough for a dog opened in the wall.
"I have opened the path, tread carefully." The creature hissed, walking away from the wall and sitting back in the center of the puddle.

Cystal let out a small cough as she regained her breath from the creatures grip. "You're letting us go?" She challenged, though not too harshly.

 

[SoloStoffe]

In Fanderus far of mind, he can only hear mumbles from his sorroundings. He wakes up from his thoughts as he see the creature opening a small door and sitting down again. He looks confused on Crystal and asks her "What the hell just happned?". While waiting for the answer, he looks at Paran. "Hey, can you help me up?" he asks.

Cystal looked at the creature and turned away, walking over to Fanderus. "We... had a talk. Come on, get up now, walk it off... you're going to be a bit woosy but you'll be alright."

 

[Crayzor]

Paran reloaded his crossbow and pulled Fanderus back to his feet."Are you okay, can you walk on your own? Try using your spear for support." He looked round at the creature that had opened the passage in the wall. Unsure if it could understand him, he said "Uh, thanks for letting us go. Sorry about shooting at you."

 

[SoloStoffe]

Fanderus gets up with effort and brushes of the dust from his pants. He stretches his arms, and tries walking a little. "So, shall we go?" he asks and makes a gesture towards the door.
