Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Still a weak conference.
Yes, I barely consider that a new Mario game, and I'm not excited about it. I still want to play it though, and the original.
The Conduit and new RE info is already much better. Maybe the last hour will be good for us traditional gamers.

Wow, they managed to talk non stop for an hour and only reveal one thing that was either new or of any interest to gamers.

Wait it picking up! The Conduict, a new Resident Evil and a prequel to Dead Space.

Nintendo conferance so far can be summed with this:

LOL

thanks for that

I like MS's approach of showing not telling. EA's was pretty good too. this has too much talking.

Look, I've got nothing against railshooters. But please 3d party developers: stop making EVERYTHING a bloody railshooter! That new RE, Dead Space Extraction, please...
And what is thiiiiis, a new Metroid game! THAT looks promising! That's definatly a suprise, looks really really cool, very different.

Now it's over and have to say I've seen worse keynote address (namely, Nintendo's last year) but at least they had something for the hardcore and long time fans. Also nice to hear someone from the company stating their goal is to milk their old franchises till kingdom come. Both depressing and re-assuring at the same time.

Damn... I'm left with some very conflicting feelings here. Give me a moment to edit it all into the OP.
