Title basically speaks for itself, so my fellow escapists, have you been playing games for as long as you remember? I sure as hell did, the first game I ever remember playing was either Pokemon Blue version, or Spyro the dragon 1

Hugo the troll.
First "proper" game was Raptor: Call of Shadows.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Can't quite remember when I got it (somewhen around 6 to 8), but it's the first game I ever owned.

there are a fair few that are so unbelievably ancient , i have vague memories of them and have no idea what they are called. they were pc games long before "pc gaming" ever existed. and there were some dumb kids games my dad had on his old skool macintosh. think it was called Rodney's playhouse . after that the NES came out and naturally i was playing mario.

Gradius (NES), on a Pirate Super Joy Pad. That was when my shmup fandom began!

It was either that or an old Home Pong machine that my mum found one day.
