Isn't this your first clue as to how they can believe this? They are blindly believing the bible and trying to twist physics. In short, IDIOTS (I'm not saying all christians are idiots, I'm saying those who try to manipulate physics to falsify the turth are)

Here are my responses:

- While the earth is moving at a high rate of speed, we are moving at the same speed. Hence how we don't feel the wind smacking us in the face every five seconds or get bowled over with the velocity. Take a ball, walk, and as you walk, throw it in the air. Notice it moves forward with you and falls into your hand? Notice how it doen't just get left behind you unless you throw it back? Same experiment... Your motion influences the ball to have the same speed, and keep that speed while it is in the air, hence it moving forward.

2) Blow!
- Alright, now get in a plane, learn to fly on, and load it with as much fuel as it can carry, and travel in ONE direction, never change the direction. Let me know when you go off the edge and fly off into space... Have you found the edge of the world? Has ANYONE found the edge of the world? The world is only so big, so it MUST have an edge, unless it is a sphere, and centrifugal force and gravtity EXIST! If gravity didn't exist, then apples would hang in the air, and you wouldn't come back down when you jumped... GASP! (Wow, your Number 2 actually disproves your number 1... cute)

The balloon is not bigger in MASS is it bigger in SIZE. A balloon is filled with air and has almost no mass. What is in the earth? Rock, laval, DENSITY. Fucking idiots. And I'm sure the density of the earth TRUMPS the density and mass of a fucking rock in your hand (if you wanna be a smart ass about it)

3) Get High!
Get in a space shuttle, and take off. Now take off, and notice that at a certain point, you CAN only see so much of the earth. Let's take your experiment from Point 2. If that TINY speck of paper were on the balloon, yeah, it would only "see" so much of it, even if it got high up in a tree or a jet, but once it is say... The distanmce between your arms away from the baloon, THEN it can see it's a sphere.

There are no "Creationist Scientists", it's an oxymoron and these tests are retarded. The points are all self-defeating, and the FIRST thing you learn in science is:

The first two experiments didn't prove it to me, but the third did: Got extremely high and suddenly it made perfect sense: yes, the world is indeed flat.

Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.

Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.


These experiments are all confirmed by creation scientists as being 100% accurate. If you're skeptical of the flat Earth, why don't you do these experiments so you can see truth with your own eyes.

Okay here's my 3

1) The earth is round check out the pictures

2) Gravity is a massive object pulling smaller objects tward it, a HOLLOW balloon won't do much being that it's MASS not SIZE that makes the difference; (however if you want proof just look at all the dust that grabs onto the balloon)

3) ...almost took that one the wrong way, considering how MASSIVE the earth is of course you can't see around it, and considering you can travel AROUND the world and not reach the end, well do I need to say more?

"The ancient Greeks were the first to discover the Earth was spherical, when they saw their trade ships coming over the horizon they saw their sails first, this was because the Earth was spherical so you would see their sails first."

Also I do have my own theory on it. My theory is that when the Earth was going through space at high speeds, the pressure from all sides eventually crushed it into its perfect, most confined form, a Sphere. I know it probably sounds absurd, but think about it like this, when you throw water into the air it turns into it's perfect most confined form which are spheres. Although I'm not sure since their is no governing force in space like gravity on Earth.

I hope I could help, but in my honest opinion, you shouldn't try to convince those people because they are clearly ignorant and stubborn to their beliefs.

Two ways to prove the Earth is round without using pictures:

1) Look at a lunar eclipse. The shadow of the Earth is curved.

2) Look at a ship on the horizon. You will notice that the formast is lower than the mainmast, despite them being the same height. This is due to the curvature of the Earth, and would not happen were the Earth flat.

So the first "experiment" assumes that we are only moving exactly like the earth when we are directly connected to it; IE when we jump we become separate entities that move independently (or don't) in space, right?

Well then forget about rotation and revolution of the Earth.....what about the fact that the Earth is revolving around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy at a speed of .....wait for it......waaait for it... ~2000Kms A SECOND!? that's right roughly 2000 kilomteres a SECOND. so every time we jump.....shouldn't we instantaneously smack into Mars?

The actual reason is that, while the earth is rotating, each of us is moving at the same speed. The precise rotational velocity each of us experiences is based upon our distance from the earth's rotational axis. Thus, you are moving faster at the top of a building than you are at the bottom and people near the poles are moving at a slower pace than people at an equatorial region.

But the rotational speed of the earth is incredibly slow when compared to the speed of the earth's orbit around the sun (around 68,000 mph). Our solar system meanwhile rotates around the galactic center at around 465,000 mph. Estimates on our the speed at which the galaxy itself is moving are elusive, I suspect because of a lack of a frame of reference (speed being relative and all).

You don't notice that you've moving at such a blistering pace of course because it is relatively constant. Now if one of these things stopped moving for one reason or another, then we would notice. Well, probably not even then. Something tells me if the earth stopped rotating over some brief period (say a second or two) we wouldn't survive long enough to realize it.
