Good riddance to bad rubbish, I certainly was not entertained by their antics.

Their last big hurrah was releasing the details of 550k Battlefield: Heroes members. So heads up if you ever played that.

Please say they took Anon with them.

Anyway, yeah, glad they left. Citibank is still pissed at their antics, as are there users.

I can't believe that people still play that shit. It's got bigger ripoffs than the Mann.Co store.

Yeah good riddance, and who exactly were these governments they exposed? And what evil censors did they rail against? What was the point of these guys again? It's not like they overthrew anti-freedom of speech policies or exposed the horrors of some megacorp's sweatshops.
Exposed institutional racism in the arizona police, made the ozzy ISP's think twice about implimenting their pilot content filter under the guise of anti child porn. Pissed off PSN users, made the LoL trolls get butthurt. Yeah they did loads :)
Alright, some good points on Arizona and Australia, being from the UK I guess I didn't hear about them. I can't support their work on Sony though. Sure, all megacorps are evil but they did it in a way that hurt the players.

But...people were surprised cops in the southern States are racist?

Is it safe to say they're not fooling anyone? Hopefully a serial bank robber saying "I won't do it anymore" won't stop the authorities from trying to legally curb stomp the prick.

Yeah, you'd think their final attack would be on something that mattered.

I reckon this was part of a 50 day plan, I mean, when it comes to their plans it seems pretty legit what they post.

Oh and I bet we won't see the last of them. They'll either form a different group and continue hacking or still be part of this Lulsec and pillage to their hearts content. Let's just say I'm remaining the skeptic. This could be a ploy to cover their tracks so that they can carry on to their hearts content. Public criminals often get caught faster then underground ones...

I for one had fun with their tweets and yeah they are prolly douches, but its painfully obvious how easy everything can be exploited.
Its insane what they achieved in 50 days.

They know they couldn't hide forever from the multiple hacker groups and the government. They are trying to save face, simple as that.
Indeed. Just what I was gonna write when I saw their bullshit message.
Happy news! Hope they'll still get caught.

I have a question: that hacker who was arrested in Essex for his connection to Lulzsec. His name was Ryan right? And Ryan was also the name of the guy responsible for hijacking the AnonOps section of Anonymous.

Are they perhaps the same?

Didn't half of them already have their identities found out?

This seems like a desperate move more than a planned one to me.

I guess they realized that they pissed off too many people and now they've started running. Either way, I'm happy they're gone. It makes everyone's lives a little easier.

I was hoping they'd get caught up in an excessively violent police raid, but I guess as long as they're gone then that's good enough.

Oh, yes, this was planned! That's why they said they were going to release the AZ information "every week", oh, two days ago. If LulzSec is ending, then I'm glad, but I highly doubt they had intended to disband until their actions started catching up with them.

Well, that's the end of that. Now, let's all stop hacking each other and go outside for a while.

So after angering pretty much everyone in existence they decide it would be best to abandon ship before they get caught in the hopes of leaving a lasting impression.

They end today with what they began with, absolutely nothing of worth. Goodbye and good riddance you morons.
