Whenever I see "The End" or "Fin" or whatever country's equivalent to a movie so tedious and boring that I'm on the verge of chewing on my armrest in an attempt to entertain myself. Those are the best endings I have ever seen.

I thought Deltora Quest ended well, showing what happened to all the characters.

Why do I like it?

I like Rage against the machine.

I like monologues.

I really like sunglasses.

Don't bother watching all the credits though, just listen to the song.

I like an ending that hints towards all going back to normal, but leaves enough room so that you can draw your own conclusions about some of the minor things. Endings that tie up every single loose end even if they're not important to the actual progression of the story piss me off.

For example, I think the last Harry Potter book ended fine until they threw in the epilogue and left no room for assumptions of any kind.

I know it just came out but Mass Effect 2's ending was amazing. Very personal and very depressing.


I also loved shadow of the collosus ending.

inFamous had a great ending, I have only played the good side so far and didn't mind at all it set us up for another game.

I have to admit, CoD:WaW had a good ending. But my favorite video game ending is Starcraft. That game just has an epic plot.

I found the Mass Effect 1 ending to be extremely satisfying and epic.

Shame they made another one, I would have liked for it to stop there.

I like endings that leave what happens next up to you. Like the ending of halo 3. Wondering what's gonna happen to master chief. But my most loved and hated ending of all time was the dark tower series. Stephen King even warns you, you can leave it here and question what happens next, or finish and get pissed off. I finished, got pissed off, but then realised that way was the only way to end it. Best book series ever for me.
