You've "always favored the evil sides in games", and you "always really enjoyed games where you could play as demons or some other forces from hell", yet you don't have Dungeon Keeper? It is the game for you, if what you've said is true. You control a bunch of demons from hell building dungeons underground and killing / subverting foolish heroes and adventurers. I'd recommend these games to anyone, as I consider them among the greatest games ever made, but it just seems ridiculous that someone with your exact preferences isn't already playing them as I speak.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go mourn the fact that Dungeon Keeper 3 was never made.

Anyway, the list of games in which you can play as a villain is sadly very short. Other than Dungeon Keeper, there's Evil Genius, Fable, Overlord... You can play as an evil god in Black and White 1/2. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I'll probably be watching this thread myself to see if there's any major ones I've missed.
