Airship Rising Dawn - Networks:
A.I. Vermilion | Dimitri
Dimitri chuckled at Vermilion's answer and continued,

"Not the best at metaphors, aren't you Ms. Vermilion? You see, I find that my existence will most likely follow after that Goddess; split between two realms, and constantly changing between them. Whilst her Ladyship stays on the Rising Dawn, I will be able to continue my work here; and can easily do as she wishes from outside the Tablet. However, once she reaches the ground again, I shall need to be transported with her. It would serve as a direct link to this ship while the teams went about their way; and would prove more efficient. You know that it takes more processing cycles to access this ship with both of us here rather than one on either end."

As he continued to speak, his voice softened, and a softer smile than his usual poise took form; an even mixture of happiness and melancholy;

"Please do not think that I leave because I am willingly wanting to abandon you. I am preforming my duty when I am gone, keeping the Users safe, so that I may sooner return here... I would not want to be away from you for long."

Teri's Mindscape - The Grey:
Lucifer | Sadei | Slindis | Teri <--No Hex for you!
The dragon weakly tried to take a step back from Lucifer, but the Angel followed after the beast without fail, his gaze never staying away from his query.
"Close your eyes"
The Cleric didn't need telling twice. As the glow began to envelope everything around them, the Ice Dragon shook it's head, crying out soundlessly in pain as the ice that it was composed of slowly began to melt away. However, despite the noise around her, Teri noticed that her mind had never been clearer; and she realized the truth of this whole encounter. She smiled faintly, feeling the heat of Lucifer's light wash over her after being trapped in this dark and terrifying prison,
Listen to me. Hopefully, it'll end after you read the rest of this post. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5HPE63aRAE]
"I get it. I finally understand what you are."

"What?! What are you going on about?"
"But you told me this from the start... You're me, and I'm you. Everyone has two sides to them; one dark and one light. The dark side is what people hate about themselves, and the light is what they find of value. Sometimes, the dark side wins, and that person constantly struggles with themselves. But that doesn't mean that the light winning is good either. There are plenty of terrible people who feel they do no wrong, and don't feel guilty for what they do. Just like Yin and Yang; to borrow from cliche, people need both to remain balanced. Even Brahma, a god of creation, had two other sides to him; Shiva, the Destroyer and Vishnu, the Maintainer.
You are the same for me. You are my darkness, my every bad thought, every nightmare and fear I have ever experienced. You're everything bad about me; and the things I was afraid to vocalize. You been gaining strength from me since I first stepped into this realm. It began with trying to keep peace among the authors when things were going to hell, like a very hungry caterpiller, you kept eating away at me the worse things got. You grew when I was kidnapped, forcibly used to summon Angelus for Bruiser's sick entertainment, as well the shock I still sustain from that event. You grew when I first encountered the Morning Star before me; and I was afraid. You grew when I was afraid of Rugal; both his fake and the real thing. You grew when I had to face Bruiser again, even though I wasn't alone. You grew when my friends fought, and I felt powerless to stop them. You grew when I slaughtered Angels with my magic, because I felt dirty and wrong for killing the deceived; even when they turned their guns to me. And you grew now because I denied you."
The Cleric balled her fists against the mirror-like surface, "But no longer. What I needed to realize is that despite feeling all these terrible things, I am human. It's normal to feel upset, downtrodden, or lost when things go wrong. It's impossible to always keep smiling without lying. Even if I'm supposed to watch over the Authors for Reset abuse, that doesn't mean I have to be a robot. And... even if I don't like everything about me, there are still people who care! Look at them! Don't you see how they've fought to save
me, somebody who I thought wasn't worth the effort?! LOOK AT THEM! Tell me what you see! I see three people who care so much, they literally hopped into my mind to help me get better! And I will not let them down any longer!
I won't let down God either. So, this charade has to end now. I can't keep hiding anymore."
The Cleric raised her fists to hit upon the ice, and when they came down for the first time, the ice did not break; and the dragon cried out,
"NO! Don't leave here! Here is safe! If you go out there, they will only lie and cheat, and treat you badly! You don't want to be there! You want to be safe, right?"
Bringing down her hands again, there was a crack in the wall, and after another; a piece broke away,

"I ONLY DID THIS TO HELP YOU!"
The third and final time her hands came down, and the ice shattered, eliciting a screech from the dragon as the rest of the black water drained onto the snow below. Before Teri walked out of her prison, she smiled ear to ear and said, "If I wanted safe, I wouldn't be here. I came to this place to help people, and fix the mistakes I've made as an Author. Sitting around in my head won't do that. Sorry."
Stepping out of the beast, the scenery began to change the moment the Cleric's foot touched the ground. The snow quickly melted away, and the ground beneath the quartet changed to grass, rocks and trees grew into existence, and a waterfall sprung from their left.
However, like any other construct of Teri's mind, there was a singular constant. A pond appeared before them, and the dragon sunk into the water, slowly disintegrating back into the black substance from whence it came, and from that, the substance became a single black fish.
