Rugal

"...Alright, just please inform either me or your mother before you take on such a Covert Operation next time..." Rugal said, admitting defeat in his interrogation.
It was then that Teri knocked.
"Come in." He said as the Cleric did just that.
"Ah, Teri. And here was me thinking you were going camping..." He said, leaving her wondering how he knew she was at a campfire.
"Either way, best get some rest. Also, Dimitri, Progress update on the ship? Got a timeline set up for the repairs?"

By the time Slindis arrived in the room, it seemed that everyone had fallen asleep. After thinking on it for a moment, she decided it would be better for her to just get to sleep.

Rugal

"Ah, Teri. And here was me thinking you were going camping..." He said, leaving her wondering how he knew she was at a campfire. "Either way, best get some rest. Also, Dimitri, Progress update on the ship? Got a timeline set up for the repairs?"

"Hiya Sis! Didya have a nice time out there not having somebody trip on ya?"

Teri shot Mel a confused look, Rugal an amazed one and shrugged, [color=0E59E4]"Never had someone to trip on me, Mel; but's its nice, I guess? And Dad, your guess is incredibly spot on... You been training that Energy sense, haven't you?"[/color]

The Cleric wandered into the room with a yawn, and settled into one of the beds, Garm flopping himself over the foot of it (at least, as best as a juvenile Direwolf could), and continued, [color=0E59E4]"Yeah, we were having a nice time. Hung with Devon, Ella and Lu[small]ci... Very fun, real rela-[/small] *snort*"[/color]

Without realizing it, the Cleric had fallen asleep almost as soon as she had set her head against the pillow, a faint snore tumbling out of her as she did so. Then again, it had been a stressful day for all. After doing so, Dimitri spoke up, a hint of nervousness filling his voice, [color=3897E0]
Code:
"Well Mr. Bernstein... I have some bad news. The repairs needed will be extensive, and while we have help from User: Devon's followers, the time needed is undetermined. I am sorry..."
[/color]

---

"So you've been voluntold for something dangerous, essentially, and you want me keeping an eye on the boys while you handle your thing? You didn't even have to ask me, but thanks for checking with me. I'll be sure to keep up the training with them, and maybe I'll pick up more than a few things from them." Devon stood up straight as he shook Caim's hand, sealing the promise.

Caim smiled sheepishly for a moment and nodded, shaking Devon's hand back;
Code:
"Thank you Devon, really. When I get the chance, I show you how to do that sonic thing I showed you with the blades. Really handy, especially when you can use it with any weapon you've got. I owe you that much. Now, if you'll excuse me, Angelus wants to talk to me for a bit. See you later."
With a wave, the warrior left the building and joined his eager pact mate; the two taking off into the night sky.

Rugal

Rugal couldn't help but smirk as Teri dropped off mid-sentence.
"...Guess I'll get the full story tomorrow then. Goodnight you two." He said before getting into his own bed and dropping off, though part of him wished it was that fancy king size with all the $100 bills like back home...

Gunsmoke: Dawn

After a good nights sleep, the Rising Dawn one by one woke up.

Rugal

Rugal being the first, the morning sun burning his eye sockets and forcing him awake.
He winced and grabbed his sunglasses, starting to grow annoyed with the extra sensitivity.
Doing his best not to wake everyone else up, he got dressed, cleaned up and made his way downstairs to find out if these rooms came with breakfast.

David

David's awakening was far more traditional, the alarm on his PDA going off before he slammed his fist down on it, not enough to break it, but not through lack of trying.
Groaning as he took awoke, he prayed to whatever god-like entity in this realm that this world had figured out how awesome coffee was yet.

Jenny

Jenny, being formerly of the wild, too was quick to get up, feeling refreshed and ready for whatever madness would occur today.

Storm-178 (And
Code:
Alpha
)
Location: Gunsmoke | On top of the town's water tower.
Time: Morning~
The hard shell of armor felt just like a bed to Storm. He was glad that it wasn't only made for it's military and battle uses, but it had many other uses as well, it was only natural since the Spartans had to live in these suits for weeks to years at a time. Though still wearing the helmet, Alpha decided to open up the black armored screen which protected the helmet's bulletproof glass in case of hazards such as fire, ice and the heat from falling from space.

Storm's red eyes fluttered to life and decided to roll over.
"Five more minutes ... mama~" He said to himself in a very child like voice. Though due to this the metal man slipped off the edge of the water tower and slammed down into the dusty ground. The impact didn't hurt him though he woke up with a shock.

"AAH!" He yelled out, gaining attention of a few people. Storm waved at them but they ignored him and continued their tasks. "I wonder if the Inn slash bar has a intercontinental breakfast?" Storm wondered to himself as he walked towards the Inn. "
Code:
Don't eat too much, you'll get fat!
" Alpha poked at Storm, "Says the person who is gaining weight even though she is an-AH" Storm poked back but a sudden shock flooded his suit.

"(Sorry)" Storm said in his native language (Japanese) before walking into the Inn and up to the counter. "Hello ... does this place serve breakfast ... and maybe come with mini-muffins?" Storm said loudly wondering if anyone was actually up.

Pandora yawned as she awoke from a fairly restful sleep, though she didn't actually start sleeping until 1 AM strolled around. She was thinking a bit heavily when it came to where she buried her old trainer, would she still be there if she'd ever have a bit of mercy she was never shown? had some thug or explorer discovered it, and put her to work? She admits to herself with a sort of guilty satisfaction that she kinda enjoyed both scenarios, now that, like her, she didn't have a voice to tell her tale with... and the tables have turned, she could be the better person. But... she quickly dismissed that idea. She smiled at the thought of the phrase "Karma is a Bi***, isn't it?" She then goes down the stairs from the room, and asks the caretaker for a drink of water... no matter how the glass is cleaned, you'll have to drink eventually right?

Gunsmoke: Dawn

Caim, Angelus, Ton Ton, Cadolbolg

Ton Ton arose first out of the family, and very early in the morning. He never really needed much sleep to begin with, so this was not unusual for the Tonberry. In fact, multiple times through the night he kept awakening, his Daemon hunting instincts keeping him on edge. This wasn't as bad when he had a plush form to rely upon but in a form of flesh and blood, even with his lesser needs for slumber, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Wandering out of the room to stop from awakening his family, Ton Ton found himself in a meeting area, and saw that Rugal had already awakened and gave a gentle wave of his ever burning lantern.

Teri, Garm

As usual, Teri awoke with the sun, and began her prayers bright and early; doing her best to keep quiet so as not to wake any who may have been in the room.

An hour later (and a few extra to generally sort out her appearance), the Cleric made her way down the stairs with her faithful wolf in tow and gave a little wave to whoever was at the table.

Rugal

Managing to get a Continental Breakfast with a few sausages, Rugal gratefully tucked in, though he felt slightly guilty letting Slindis pay for all this.
Always Next time... He thought as he enjoyed his meal while everyone else also.
Storm then barged in demanding Mini-Muffins prompting him to say "Hey! You can barely get normal Muffins around here, let alone Mini."
Ton Ton and Teri soon followed and he greeted them.
"Morning. Sleep well you two?" He said as he added some butter to his pastry.

BREAKFAST!

Teri rolled her eyes at Storm's display, and hide a hand behind her back. Rugal was distinctly certain he heard the snapping of fingers, and his daughter calling back,[color=0E59E4]"Storm, quit yelling at the staff! I found some right here."[/color]

She scootched a plate down the table towards the Spartan, now covered with steaming fresh blueberry mini muffins. Ah, it was good to be an Author some days. Ton Ton looked ready to protest, but the Cleric held up a finger to her mouth before sitting and helping herself to some bacon (and gathering sausages for Garm),

[color=0E59E4]"Morning, Dad. As for your question, wonderfully. Garm's a good foot warmer. What about you? Ton Ton?"[/color]

Ton Ton hopped along on the table, and started nibbling on some eggs.

[color=15650D]"I did alright, I guess. I don't think my body's gotten used to the fact I'm not a plushie anymore. I kept waking up for patrols against Daemons ever couple of hours."[/color]

Teri frowned a little at Ton Ton's statement, and the Tonberry looked at her with surprise, [color=15650D]"I made a pact with Cadolbolg. Our prices were our invulnerability as constructs, or in my case, my plush form. That's why Cadolbolg isn't metal anymore. I thought you knew. Don't worry, I'm not upset by it at all. It could have been much worse. By the way is there any jam?"[/color]

BREAKFAST!

Slindis began quietly eating the breakfast with Melethia and Lupito when Devon half staggered down the steps. Since Lucifer hadn't wanted the Bard to sleep in the same room as Ella last night, he'd searched around for another room to sleep in.

Unfortunately, the room with Teri had each bed occupied. So he then had to check Ashworth's room, which was locked. He tried checking Jenny's room, but he heard something shifting in there that made it rather clear that it wouldn't be a good idea to sleep in there as well.

By the time he got to Caim' room and saw the large master bed fully occupied, Devon mentally said 'fuck it' and grabbed the vacuum-sealed sleeping bag he'd saved from the AIM drop in the forest out of his sidepack. After it was fully out, he went underneath the rather tall bed and got what sleep he could, although he stayed completely silent while the Rip and Tear Family got ready.

No, it was not a good sleep for the Bard, and even the Prestidigation couldn't hide it. "Where's a cup of coffee when you need it...?" He grumbled in a half-awake state as he poured himself some coffee and scooped up some eggs, taking a seat near Caim.

Next time, I'm paying for my own goddamn room... He slammed down the scorching coffee to help wake up

BREAKFAST!

Upon seeing Devon drag himself in, Caim paused in pouring himself another cup of coffee, and decided that the bard needed it more than he did, and set it down next to Devon's glass,

Code:
"...You alright? You look like you've been forced on march for a day and a half."
Angelus sipped her water and a mild "hpmh" exiting her as she did so, "Bad dreams, Devon? We do have a hunter of those..."

Cadolbolg, who was not permitted to sit on his father's head during breakfast (too many incidents of food landing in his hair), wandered over to Devon and held up a scrumptious looking muffin to Devon, "These make me feel better sometimes. Would this help Friend Devon?"

Fionn

As the group went about their morning routine, Fionn strolled into the inn and over to the table. The Gun Mage was exhausted, having spent the past 10 hours on night watch. He reached for the coffee powder and a container of water, beginning to brew a concoction that would either keep him up for the next week, or cause him to pass out.

"Morning boys and girls, ready to play cowboys and evil cowboys?[footnote]The unsuccessful sequel to cowboys and indians[/footnote] It seems we have a town to save. "

Rugal

Rugal had just about finished his food when Fionn came in.
"I guess so. From what Dimitri has told us, our vessel will be some time before it's able to fly again..." He answered as he wiped his mouth on a napkin.
"So how far is Rock Ridge again?" He asked as he pulled out the light duffle bag containing nothing more than a few spare suits.

West, Jenny

The second that he found the coffee, West made the most of it by downing 2 cups to wake himself up.
However, he grew nervous when he heard of the group heading to Rock Ridge.
"Er....Y-you go on ahead, I just have some...Errands to run..." He said unconvincingly, his fatigue affecting his buff.

Jenny was having an apple as the others chowed down until a "WARK!" from the stables reminded her of her new mouth.
"Coming Cid!~" she said, clearly a lot more even headed then Early Morning West was about the whole "Spy Mission" thing.

BREAKFAST!

Devon got to work on the other coffee, taking a moment to respond to Caim. "Just a long night with little sleep. The rest of my roommates were fairly noisy last night, plus it wasn't comfortable at all." He gratefully took the muffin that Cadolbolg offered and finished it, leaving the wrapper by the side.

"Thanks, everyone. Just give a minute for the coffee to kick in, and I'll be fine." He glimpsed at the woman that was reminiscent of a Absol, but brushed it off as her personal style.

---

Slindis waved Pandora over and offered her some of the food. [color=c20000]"You may want to get a bite to eat: it's going to be a busy day."[/color]

Shortly after, Fionn made his entry and the Drow nodded. [color=c20000]"Melethia and I are just about finished."[/color] It was right around now that Melethia slipped away after leaving a note for Rugal explaining the mission in a bit more detail.

BREAKFAST!

"Morning boys and girls, ready to play cowboys and evil cowboys? It seems we have a town to save. "

Teri looked up from her conversation with Rugal, her meal finished as well, and wondered aloud, [color=0E59E4]"You know, I never did get the memo about this place... What's going on there?"[/color]

In the meantime, the pact partners noticed David and Melethia's sudden absence, and took note that this was their cue. Giving each of the Cuties a pat on the head, and gentle (mental) admonishments about being good under Devon's care, the duo took their leave.

Gunsmoke: Team heading to Rock Ridge

Once the team heading to Rock Ridge was in place, Rugal stood before them to explain the situation.

"Okay people, The Situation is this. For months, a nearby town much like this one has been attacked by a large gang of Bandits, Raiders, Criminals, what have you. Now, seeing how we're stuck here for the foreseeable future, We could use something to pass the time and considering our skills, this should be a walk in the park. Our Mission is simple enough, Get to Rock Ridge, Rebuild the town, Kill the bandits and their ringleaders. Anyone want to opt out, be my guest, doesn't affect me in the slightest, just be on the ship when we are ready to leave, that's all I care about.

Now, if no one has any questions..."
Without stopping to let anyone ask any, he began the march out of Gunsmoke towards the forsaken town of Rock Ridge.
This can't be any worse then those Angels... He thought as he headed out.

Gunsmoke: Team heading to Blackwater

West waited for the other members of his little team by the train station.
Once they were in place, He said:

"Okay gang, easy job, you know the guy, I ain't saying his name (Dean Solitaire) and you know what to do and, hopefully, what not to do. I'm looking at you, Caim. We just catch a train into Blackwater, find the guy, roleplay a little as people who aren't spying on him, spy on him and we might even get paid for this bout of heroics, that'd be a first...

So...Dibs on a Window seat!"

West then led his gang on board the first train to Blackwater City, hoping this wouldn't end badly like it usually does.

Train to Blackwater

David hesitantly followed West onto the train, looking mildly irritated, and began talking to himself in a hushed voice. [color=9BBED5][sub]"...Well, hopefully this will be better than yesterday. But really, I have no idea why I was dragged along for this to begin with.`I mean, I was just thrown into this place yesterday!"[/sub][/color]

David took one of the window seats, pulled out his book with a sigh, and resumed his reading. Hopefully nothing would interrupt his little session this time.

Gunsmoke: Team heading to Rock Ridge

As the walk began, Teri and Garm found a place by Rugal's side, and were enjoying small talk to whittle away the monotony of their journey. However, it wasn't long before the Cleric noticed that her lupine companion began panting up a storm in the heat. The sound of face meeting palm filled the air, and the Cleric gave a soft cry,

[color=0E59E4]"Oh, crap! Sorry buddy! One second Dad, lemme fix this up right away..."[/color]

Rugal heard the sound of the otherworldly chanting the Cleric was prone to do, and then... Garm's panting stopped. Did she silence the beast? No, that wasn't like her... What happened?

Endure elements does not provide any protection from fire or cold damage, nor does it protect against other environmental hazards such as smoke, lack of air, and so forth.

After a moment of silence, Teri wondered aloud, [color=0E59E4]"Maybe I should go spread this among the group... It's only fair."[/color]

Meanwhile, Ton Ton and Cadolbolg entertained themselves with gliding on the thermals of the desert air; staying close to Devon, as their parents asked. For once, Ton Ton even had his hood up; which aided in keeping the hot sun off his face. Fire resistance or no, nobody likes a sunburn!

Gunsmoke: Team heading to Blackwater

Caim gave a shrug to David's remark,
Code:
"I'm not a complete fool. I understand the need for a stealthy approach. However, if one tries to kill me, I'll take the necessary action to prevent that."
Regardless, the duo found themselves comfortably seated on the train, finding a pair of seats to themselves, but still having enough room for others to come and go as they pleased...

Gunsmoke: Train heading to Blackwater

David glanced up from his book to take a look at the couple that sat in the seats across from him... [color=9BBED5]"Hmm... GHAAKKPFFFFT!"[/color]...and nearly choked on his own spit. He quickly diverted his gaze and glued his eyes to the novel.

[color=9BBED5]'Is it... No. It can't be... Could it?[/color] He peeked over his book one more time, to confirm what he saw. He found that the man was looking back at him, and the student paled. He quickly hid behind the book once more. [color=9BBED5]'YES. YES THAT IS DEFINITELY HIM. OH SHIT!'[/color] David was shaking quite noticeably, and rightfully so. He knew who this man was and where he was from, not to mention what he was capable of. He just wriggled deeper into his seat and pretended that he didn't do anything.
