In The Skies: Angelus | Akane
Angelus maintained her silence then, allowing her words to process in the distraught Kitsune's mind. At the very least, the young woman could count upon the red dragon for her honesty, even if it was hard to swallow.
"Soka.... Doushio, Angelus?" Grief wracked her voice, barely audible over the wind.
Akane's head bowed, strands of hair falling down and hiding her face. She dropped a few feet in altitude and disappeared underneath the dragon, before quite literally turning up the heat. She flew by sheer force of fire, and the excess heat could be used better than as exhaust.
Angelus found her patch of hot air to glide on as a Kitsune cried.

"Crystal clear mate, bringing her down now. An' yeah, I understand seeing people in the flesh. No doubt Akane'll be happy when the Knights report in. Jake said as he spotted the lightning flash to his left, swinging around and slowing down. The chopper came to a rest gently on the pavement, rotors shutting down immediately as Jake hopped out and drew his rifle. A sharp snap and the slide swept backwards then clicked forwards, loading a round into the M1 Garand rifle. He scanned the streets and alleys open to him before greeting anyone. Damn hostile zones.
