The two advance towards the party, the dragon asking "You. The one who exited the light. Where is this place? What is it? Are we dead?"
Caim smirked at the last remark.
The dragon regarded him with a snuff, smoke lightly exiting her nostrils; "It's an honest question."

As the Lord of Hate Severin and his twenty Dragons of DOOM(tm) flew towards whichever coastline they were going to ravage, a little red jet powered biplane roared up besides them and joined the formation. Tails sat in the cockpit of the Tornado with Sonic standing atop its wings. "Hey Sev! I've always wanted to take over the world, but I was always having to beat Robotnik back first! FUCK YEAH SEAKING!" Sonic shouted as he Spin Dashed off the Tornado and went Super Sonic, blazing yellow and leaving an afterimage of himself.

And as is the case with powerups, especially overpowered ones such as Super Sonic, theme music must be played. Cheesy theme music. Super Sonic cracked the sound barrier, twice as he tried to outrun it, it was that cheesy. Coincedentally, it was also the name of his theme music.

The Sonic Boom.

As Super Sonic neared Detroit, all the combatants stopped and looked up as the heard the theme song music get louder and louder. Zero shouted across the city in despair, the only other videogame character present and thus the only one to truly realise just how fucked they all were.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT SUPER SONIC AND THAT FREAKING SONIC BOOM THEME SONG!!!!!!!!111!!!!1!!!1!!1111!!!"

Super Sonic flashed through the city at Mach 2 with his hair on fire, leaving a double SONIC BOOM!!!! in his wake as he tried to outrun his theme song. Xenomorphs, Praetorians and humans alike were all thrown to the ground by the force of the SONIC BOOM!!!! as the important characters all managed to somehow shield themselves from it. As Super Sonic came around for another pass, he ran out of rings, and thankfully returned to regular Sonic. He Spin Dashed in mid-air (with the aid of a well timed Shield-Cancel) and aimed directly for Sarif Towers. He landed and dashed clean into Tomoya, knocking the poor unfortunate Lightning Angel out of the beam of blue glowy death Tabitha had cast upon him with her spaceship and knocking him back as well. He got up and dusted himself off, catching a falling chilidog as he went. Why? Just Cause!

"So, this is where the party's at? Man, this party sucks! I even had to bring my own food!" Sonic quipped as he chowed down on his chilidog. "Now, the first rule of taking over the world, is to BEAT THE EVERLOVING SHIT OUT OF ANYBODY who might be the good guys. So YOU'RE IT!" Sonic said as he launched himself at Tabitha with a powerful right hook ready to be thrown at top running speed.

The Predalien shrugged a bit, less for him to worry about. he turned back and helped Tomoya up. "Please sire, the Queen wishes to speak with you. Getting killed or seriously injured won't help either of us." the squeaky core said.

Receiving no response, the dragon huffed, "Humans! Insufferable creatures. I knew there was a reason I only speak with you, Caim. Come along; I tire of this...." She inclined her head upwards "Place. Wherever it is. Let us make haste."

Caim nodded and mounted the dragon.

The dragon spread her wings, inhaling with delight. This was her domain, her true calling; flight. Of course, having Caim in tow made it a little less fun, what with having to watch for enemies and making sure he didn't fall off. Be that as it may, he was enjoyable. His feel for battle made things easy and he had a good head on his shoulders; and she never had to worry for him on the ground. The dragon flapped her wings quickly, launching herself high into the air; Caim letting out whoops of joy; as best as a mute could handle. Oh yes, she heard him in her mind, as per their pact, but no one outside of the bond could ever hear Caim's voice. It was interesting how many times she had to remind herself others could not hear him when they conversed outside of themselves. She sent a thought to Caim:

"It matters not where we are, Caim. Surely there are battles to find, causes to fight for, and plenty ready to stand in our way. Your niche will be found."

Caim regarded the dragon in confusion. "My niche? You forget, dragon. We are stuck together, regardless of my or your wants. If I am to fight, you better damn well be with me."

The dragon chuckled to herself. "Yes. I shall stay then, Caim..."

...well, SHIT, a giant battle has gone rampant.

Also Orinon you may wanna join us before we leave.

Because it would be good for ALL the heroes to go to the Aliens base.

The overlooking battle was overpowering, so much was going on, aliens fighting Fallen Angels, Zero rediscovering his power, a blue hedgehog he recognized as Sonic from the old Sega games he used to play, he was fighting the Fallen Angel leader, Tabitha. Tomoya was in the middle of the battlefield, he was just caught in an energy beam that disrupted his shield and movement but luckily Sonic smacked him out of the way and funnily enough he caught a chilly dog, why, I don't even fucking know. The Lightning Angel was talking to the new leader of the aliens, The Predalien and it beckoned Tomoya to meet their Queen.

"Well, it would be good to get out of here but first we have to get to my friend, the red robot named Zero, then we shall leave" Tomoya said to the Predalien while eating the unknown chilly dog that came out of nowhere. Tomoya than contacted his ship The BlackHawke "Gaz, I need you to get the ship out of the airspace above and activate cloaking, Ill contact you late" Sunohara or Gaz as Tomoya called him agreed with his plan and began following his command.

Frank West grabbed at his heart and gasped. Megas' intercom buzzed.

"Hey, you alright?" Sev asked. Frank regained his composure.

"I'm a video game character... and within all of us are feelings you other characters don't usually get, there's one gut feeling we all have when something truly OP happens," Frank sighed, lying back in his chair, eyes wide open.

"What is it like?"

"It's like," Frank looked at his hand, "A thousand fanboy voices screaming at once," Frank shuddered and continued towards London.

"Wow that sounds awesome but Imma go burn some Tabitha now, bring me back some fish and chips and a new kilt though!" with that, the connection ended. Frank sighed and looked out Megas' front window, at the coast of England.

The Forces of Hate descended upon the world in a mass of Black Fire, burning the Earth before their might across the land, taking advantage of the Detroit crisis. Severin roared at Sonic from his dragon.

"OI! We're on THEIR SIDE for this battle, our enemy is that fire-bombing lady over there!" Sev gestured towards Tabitha. Sonic blushed, and turned a little-bit less yellow before smirking and eating more chili dogs.

Severin flew next to Tomoya and the Predalien, eyepatch glowing, armor shimmering in the light of the flames. He addressed the Band of Heroes he had Hated for all this time,
"Today, we rid the world of an enemy! I care not for petty rivalries of the past until this foe has been rid of!" Severin descended from his dragon and stood before his enemies, a faceless expression on his face.

"Predalien, take care of Tomoya, that hit seems to have had a few adverse effects, get him medical help, I'll deal with her," Severin turned away, looking out at the burning Detroit skyline. Tabitha was below, annihilating the Xenomorph masses. Sev ripped through the air at Tabitha, liquid diamond beginning to flow from the streets.

Tabitha looked up, only to be tackled and thrown back by the force of Severin's body.

She coughed and stood up, analyzing her new foe. He was massive, seven feet tall, three feet wide, two mechanical limbs, and from what she could tell, very, VERY, evil. She lowered her body, poised for combat. The ground cracked around Sev, Lava and Diamond shooting around him, while the sky erupted in lightning and Black Fire. The Battle of the Ages commenced.

I gotcha

The two combatants were engaged in mixed combat, long, short, mid, and special weapons and monsters against each other in a flashy, cinematic battle of epic proportions raged on the streets of Detroit. Sev and Tabitha each gained an edge here, fell a bit here, bled on each other, and raged on and on in a conflict greater than Grendel and Beowulf's.

Sev held up his hand and grabbed his stomach.

"Time out... one sec," Tabitha's face contorted into a look of heavy confusion. Sev looked the other way and started to puke, when Caim and his Dragon erupted from within his esophagus. Sev wiped his mouth and recommenced the battle of EPIC, leaving Caim and his dragon covered in bile on the streets of a burning Detroit.

The two emerged from the bile, with extremely confused expressions upon their faces.

Disregarding the blessing, Caim dismounted the dragon, a bloodthirsty smile taking place upon his face. Gripping his sword, he rushed into the fray, attacking what looked to be forces that defected to the Empire, black force, whatever that was causing the trouble of the day in this realm. He slashed at forces in black armor, legions that attacked him directly, or whatever looked dangerous. None mattered to Caim. The nuances and subtleties of his world did not apply here; he would fight until someone gave him reason not too. He disregarded the angel and the one who covered him in bile, they were the blessers of this battle, and he would leave them be.

The dragon chuckled at Caim's mirth. This was his natural place after all; she only feared that he would wind up stabbing some creature of importance... Oh. A blue hedgehog was clipped by Caim's sword as he descended upon some poor unknown solider. No matter. A roar cut off the dragoness' thoughts and she looked upwards. Ah, there were some for her after all....

Let it be known that Caim and the dragoness are neutral, however, should either for attempt to sway with them, (so long as the motivations suit the interest of both characters) they might join a cause. Just a little note for anyone who doesn't want accidental causalities.

Tabitha jumped back, a diamond arm smashed into the ground where she was before. She bent down and carved another symbol into the little bit of Detroit they were rampaging on. She pulled out a small pistol and unloaded the rounds at Sev's face, who instantly destroyed them with an amused grin.

Tabitha jumped into the air and clapped her hands together and then held them out , the air in front of them turned bright red and lashed out at Sev.

He sidestepped them quickly, leaving a spout of lava in his place.

Tabitha landed on the farthest street in Detroit Central and joined two curving lines together with another arc carved by her sword.

"Hey Sev!"

Sev appeared in front of her, "Yes?"

"One question," she said smiling, "are you an alchemist?"

Sev opened his mouth and fired Deth beams at Tabitha, who acrobatically dodged their increasing massivity.

"Alchemist? Nay. They call me the Master Elementalist, I can manipulate any material down to an atomic level," Sev explained, yawning a bit.

Blood-thirst shown in his eyes, and a smile appeared on his features. Typical marks of Caim before he attacked. He charged, attacking what looked the most appealing. Men in dark armor, twisted abominations of flesh and steel, creatures that no God could name. Meaningless in his eyes; man, woman, child. All could become soldiers, and he had seen it all. He attacked and attacked; blood and gore falling around his blade in a sick dance of twisted flesh and bone. The battle field his home, and his caretaker.

The dragon took to the skies again, knowing full well that Caim would call for aid (should he need it). She was just as hardened in combat as he, but she did not relish in it as he did. Caim was drawn to the battle, and she had to follow in suit. Not that it was a horrible thing, but it did get tiring after so many battles. What mattered is that the two were linked, and they had to be together; the dragon was not one to create complaint. She fired once at a twisted apparition, then used her jaws to twist the flesh of another creature. Sometimes in battle, Caim's lust would be so great, that the link would cause it to leak to his partner. She felt it now, the feeling of dark satisfaction flow through her veins, making her to want to destroy more. In turn, he was feeling her pride and strength fall into him. In this large battle, they were becoming one; as the pact was wont to do with any set of partners.

The dragon, having Caim-influenced kill, heard a loud roar from above. It almost made her quail, but the Caim-fueled lust subsided these fears. From above, the dragoness could see an even larger beast descend. "What... is this? Certainly not a creature of the gods..."

*Year: 2511/Location: Edge of the Milky Way*

Standing before a 10-foot tall portal was an 8-foot tall man with huge muscles all over his body. Even though he looked 30ish, no one in his empire knew his real age. This was because centuries ago he had learned the secret to immortality but hid it away, never to be seen again. He stared intensely at the portal with his black eyes, hoping for some good news this time.

"Sir, the portal seems to be holding steady this time. I think we finally got one stable enough for you to go through," his second-in-command said to him. "Excellent, do you have the date and location for the portal exit?" he asked with some cautious excitement in his voice. "Yes sir, although the coordinates are putting a strain on the system. We don't really now how long we'll be able to hold it open," he said rather cautiously.

"Good. When I'm gone, have the scientists destroy this machine and the blueprints for it. After that is done, give them a large fortune to pay for their silence. Also inform my heir that he is now the ruler of this empire, I don't expect to be coming back from this journey," he said to his loyal assistant. "No problem sir, it has been an honor serving you," he replied back as the emperor walked into portal and closed behind him.

*Time: Present Day/Location: High Above Detroit*

Ten thousand feet above Detroit, lightning began filling the sky as portal of immense energy opened up. When the portal stopped expanding, a very large muscular man in custom Colossus Armor slowly floated out of it. When he looked down on Detroit, he saw the chaos unfolding below him. "Seems interesting. Think I'll go join them, see how much chaos I can stir up before I conquer this damn planet," he said as he began rapid descent. As he descended, he began to let the massive amount of nuclear and demonic energy start to flow through him. It had been awhile since he powered up this much and was hoping that he would get a good fight out of this.

The Predalien ducked and dodged over to Zero where he was holding his own against drones. With a hiss, the drones broke off from the fight and knelt. The Predalien walked over to Zero and blocked a punch. "Stop that, you and Tomoya must get out of the city, please follow me." the little core squeaked from his chest plate.

Also did I mention I just completed Gears of War 3.

Ad also HOLY crap Ynnek is back. Whats his character's name and is it the long and missing, Ken?

Sev came down from the sky and introduced himself to the battle and instantly went for the Fallen Angel Tabitha, "This isn't looking good for anyone if this battle goes on, we need to get out of this mess".

Tomoya saw the arrival of the man and his dragon, but he was more concerned about the lightning portal opening in the sky. "Why the hell does lightning happen without my permission!" Tomoya says as he sways his hand and it disappears in an instant and sways it once more to be replaced by green lightning and light rain "Never knew I could do that" Tomoya wondered as he finished off his mysterious chilli dog.

The lacking power of Tomoya was easily restored by the now green lightning he summoned, Tomoya felt a familiar power as he kept looking at the sky seeing the man descending.

Thank you for the welcome, I can't say that I'll be able to post much, as I have classes and all; but I'll do my best to add to the fun. I can't wait to see if anyone tries to bring the two to their side

At the arrival of the hulking man, and his technologies, the dragon felt dread slowly creep into her veins; whoever this hulking man was, she feared Caim would not stand a chance against him; lest she was there to fuel his strength. It most certainly didn't look good. Flying down to where she last heard from her partner; her 'voice' bellowed across the battlefield: "Caim! Answer me, fool! Cease your fruitless endeavors, and return to me!"

Caim finished cutting down another random solider, and winced at the dragon's voice echoing all around his mind.
"Coming, you great paranoid lizard" he replied.
With a sigh of regret, he ran in the general direction he heard the dragon call. He didn't need to wait long. She landed with a great thump and motioned for him to get back upon her back quickly. He did so, and she took flight again.

"What now, dragon?" he asked as she circled the battlefield.

"I don't know, Caim. I am as lost as you. I only wish to avoid THAT " she said, whilst motioning to the still-descending man.

Caim smiled, "He looks fun. I think we should take him on."

"NO. Not until we can take note of his abilities. I don't like the look of his entrance. Gods know what his attacks are... Come Caim, perhaps we can take learn of this place from them.." she said, motioning to Tomoya and his compatriots. She descended, landing close to the gathering group, and sent a message to Caim to stay upon her back, lest they attack.

She cleared her throat, and asked: "Can any of you humans explain what is going on here? Who is that man that descends from the heavens?"

The still energy gathering Tomoya has started to form his wings again, except they are green and he began to wonder if that the heroes should be running from this scene because he knew that the presence of Severin, Tabitha and the familiar presence of the descending man were going to destroy the whole of Detroit, the only hope now is that he and the other heroes and aliens can run away so that the other groups either may destroy themselves or run away as well, "Man I wish I had another chilli...holy shit!"

Tomoya prepared his lightning infused sword with one hand and pulled out his formally forgotten magnum and pointed it at the landing red dragon and man. The dragon asked who the man descending to the sky was and Tomoya said back cautiously "First of all, who in the Heavens name are you two and whose side are you on, two I'm not telling you anything more until I know you!".

The lightning Angel Tomoya didn't know who the hell these new guys where but they may prove useful allies, "Tell me who you are and I'll give you that information" Tomoya said daringly back towards them, Tomoya could only hope that Zero and the Predalien can get back to him before this battle will turn into a TRUE clusterfuck!

The two are from Drakengard I thought it would be fun to add them in. I'll work on a character sheet when I get the time.

The dragon huffed, "Sides? What do you speak of, human? We have no side. My companion here merely enjoys the thrill of battle; and we would like to know what is going on in this place."

"And why the hell we burst out of some guys stomach!" Caim added.

"Caim, they can't hear you."

"Damn"

Noticing the lighting boy before them, the dragon continued, "If you could provide my companion here with more battle; and perhaps tell us how we even got here, I'm sure we'd be more than happy to join you.... Except... You are not affiliated with the Empire, are you? Otherwise, I'd have to kill you. Does the Empire even exist in this world? Caim, what say you on the existence of the Empire?"

"Maybe the guys in black armor? I was having too much fun to care. I don't care about joining these people, provided they give me what you mentioned. Also, I could use a bath....

The dragon chuckled at the last statement, and inclined her head to Tomoya again. "So, human, can you provide what we want?"

As some have figured out, Caim and the dragon are both the main characters of Drakengard. Although I have an avatar from the second game, let us assume that both are still keeping their appearances from the first game, with the dragon in her level 3 form (more explanation on that later)

Here's a general picture of the two Warning Possible spoilers for the game of Drakengard



Caim



Species: Human, Male Age: 24

Caim was a soldier for a Union army in his olden land; in an effort to protect his younger sister from the forces of the evil Empire (that didn't end well). When in battle, he was terribly wounded and stumbling to the Union base castle he found something strange and terrible. A dragon, wounded and still retaining her pride. In desperation, the two created what is called (in their world) a "pact".

The two pulled their hearts/souls out of their beings and combined them, saving both their lives and starting powerful bond between the two. Should one of the two die, as well the other. Also, the human in a pact always loses something precious in the pact; with Caim, his voice. The two are able to communicate with one another from a mental link, but they have a tendency to stay close together. Caim mainly hates dragons, but keeps a softer spot for the red dragon, as the two rely upon one another to survive.

Caim's primary weapon is a sword (shown in the picture above) that belonged to his father, and it is able to shoot fireballs when enough energy is gathered within it. Caim is proficient in most weapons, but it is easily assumed that the sword is his prized possession. Also, Caim has superhuman strength, as per the pact, especially noted in his constitution, hardiness, and his breaking of the stereotype that white boys can't jump. Caim enjoys the thrill of battle, and is more than happy to have a giant freakin' dragon as a support. That firebreath, very soothing.

Species: BFD (Big Fucking Dragon) Estimated Age: 10,000 years

As mentioned above, the dragon came into contact with Caim via the pact, and she has gained the chore of watching Caim/making sure the bloodthirsty idiot doesn't die. The two tried their best to fight for the side of the Union army, but all was for naught when Caim's sister perished. Caim, now lost and angry, had the dragon ferry him for his quest for revenge, and eventually ended up with him in this universe (by way of forces unknown).

The dragon herself does not care much for humans, but is fiercely loyal to Caim and will grudgingly help him in whatever form of trouble he gets himself into. She can come off as arrogant, but in the end, you will be very happy if she's on your side.

The dragon, having grown with Caim (and from the influence of the pact) has grown several times her original size, and gained much greater power than she could have attained on her own. She can launch 8 small homing fireballs, a single powerful fireball and, should she gather enough energy (it takes a while for it to charge), send forth a large magical blast comprised of many minuscule jets of flame. On their own, they don't do much, but the sheer number of fireballs is devastating.
