"Look at this." Boss said, grabbing a small pistol. "I don't think these are normal weapons. This doesn't have a magazine, and there's some sort of power source in it; it might be a really small railgun." Boss looked at the gun for several seconds, then put it back up. "It's not a Peacemaker, that's for sure."
"A Railgun? This group clearly has Tech clearly more advanced then ours. Just who are these guys...Huh..."
He saw a Ammo Case with his name on it and quickly ensured that Boss didn't see it, It was his Combat Gear should relations go sour.
"I'm not seeing any traps, I don't know how'd anyone would set any here..."
As a newcomer appeared from out of nowhere and started rambling about some guy called Boss, Mokou was pulled back into the present for long enough to start getting annoyed. "What's your problem?" she called out. "Slow down!"
He stopped. Then he started again, but stopped, took a deep breath, and started. "I only woke up a little while ago. My partner, Boss, he went down to the armoury to check for traps. And he sent me up here." She noticed that he hadn't introduced himself in all that - did the others already know him? "And, uh, who are you, lady?" he added.
Definitely, she thought. "Call me Mokou," she told him, and nothing else.
Having gotten the map he set off towards the armory, not caring much for the new-comer. He didn't care what happend to the crew, well he was interested, but his main priority was to find a way back home to his brother. He was going to need weapons if relations with the others got bad, or if something or someone killed the past crew.
The Armory was a large room, it was filled was loads of ammo from 50 Cal to Nuclear Missiles. No one knew why they were there but the human carried weapons as well as their own were on the other side of the room. It was protected by turrets unless they get the Armory Sergeant's Key Card, which they didn't have. But all there weapons were in there, how would they get them.
As well in the room were several mechs, multiple unidentified mechs and a lifting mech. At the time Tomoya was walking to the Commander's office which was close to the bridge at the time.
"There is enough weapons to start a war in here..." Snake said as he noted the Measures on the standard arms, then his attention turned to the Mechs.
One stood out from the rest:
"Metal...Gear..." He said as he looked at the Mech that was much like the one from Zanzibar land, except much smaller, designed for combat in the ship or as a patrol vehicle.
He shook off the shock and went back to checking out the rest of the place.
Dillon was in the Chief Science Officer's office. he heard a strange noise he went to investigate.
he heard a strange mechanical click then everything went black.
5 Minutes later.
Tomoya heard a bing over an intercom
"Tomoya, Please come to the Chief Science Officers Office, I found something, You'll want to see it." Dillon's voice came out clear through the intercom.
Dillon took his finger off the button.
he looked at what he had found, it was amazing, it was unthinkable.
"I Don't know how he'll react when he finds you Mother."
Caim won't be able to talk for long. So long as Angie stays in a human form, the pact between the two is weakened, such as the telepathy/charles Atlas powers on Caim's part. So, I expect it's logical for her to be a dragon again, expect our familiar mute once again. Also: I'll leave it up to you whether they find the key card
Caim's head sunk when he heard that the armory was sealed without the key-card, he and Angelus (who was more or less dragged along by her partner) began to fervently search for said key-card in the military area; mainly the barracks and other areas of personal importance (for a military personnel.) If that didn't work, it was off to Engineering.
Mokou found the security office on her map and headed inside. It seemed to accept her as part of the security, even though she was technically military police - perhaps the two, according to this particular space navy, were interchangeable. From the dead body she found inside having the same insignia on his shoulder as she had on her arm, it seemed likely. His chest had been torn open from the inside, though exactly what had happened was beyond her.
She searched his pockets and found a small key card, though it wasn't labelled "Armoury". Instead, it seemed to provide access to the prison bay. She tapped a button on her wrist and told the others what she'd found.
Don't worry I'll "give" you the keycard right now. xD.
As the group searched for the keycard, Mokou came through the communication and told everyone her location and such. But suddenly a mechanical noise came from a metal door they didn't notice before, it was huge, it was 15 meters high, luckily the armory was 20 meters high. As the door began to open they heard a voice, "Communists directed, extermination, Liberty Prime is back BITCHES!" As the door fully opened a robotic man shaped stepped out the door.
As he came out the group spotted the keycard in the room Liberty Prime came out from, a blood mash was in there but had a certain card on him. They would have to think fast to get the card and the weapons.
Meanwhile in the Commander's room.
As Tomoya was entering the Commander's office he heard Dillon's announcement and Mokou's discovery. He was going there next due the discovery he had found. He now knows that they evacuated the Earth because a man took over and was trying to kill them, luckily there was a resistance led by some regular humans. He shrugged but saw a message that caught his eye, it said "Archangel., as Tomoya opened it the previous Commander was there he had a blacked out face but it looked familiar somewhat.
He spoke about how he knew Tomoya and knew he had his powers, "They arn't gone, they're locked away. But luckily enough I had formed a machine to give them back to you eventually, go to Science Experimentation room 00, it's below the science experimentation floor...quickly go!" He said quickly before several scrapping sounds came from behind him and cut off. Tomoya nodded as he quickly looked around the dark room, it looked nice for a Commander's room. As well he spotted two desert eagles with no ammo in a display box, he quickly takes them as he runs off to the science labs.
Another tram came along as Tomoya jumped onto it catching it quickly to the science area. Feeling a familiar feeling overcoming him.
Meanwhile.
Mokou was at the entrance to the prison bay. The prison bay was dark and moist. She heard crying down the corridor that leads to the prison chambers.
Surprisingly, the door was already open by the time Mokou arrived. That could only have meant one of two things: either the security was even more lax than Kaguya's attack bunny[footnote]This is referring to Reisen.[/footnote] and left the door open when they went in, or someone had recently broken out. Neither instance appealed to her, though the latter was more likely: most of the crew were dead, after all. Still, if anyone got too close, she could defend herself just fine.
As she was about to check it out, she heard loud footsteps from another part of the ship. Closing off the door with her own key card, she rushed back to find most of the crew being menaced by a robot of some sort, rambling about communists. She tried to back off, knowing that her flames wouldn't catch onto metal, but he noticed her too quickly.
"Ah-HA!" he called out. "A communist in the police! Who watches the watchman, indeed!" Faster than she could react, he fired a plasma bolt at her head. She was dead before she hit the ground. Suddenly having your head reduced to chunky salsa does that.
Don't worry about it. Remember what I wrote on my character sheet: besides the mother of all hangovers, she'll be fine in a little bit. And she just gave you a decent distraction.
As Tomoya jumped off the top of the tram that stopped at the Science bay section he walked until he got to a door covered with red holographic tape. He easily passed it but reached the door had a DNA scanner on it.
It looked rusted and hasn't been entered in a long time. As Tomoya runs his hand under the scanner the red light turns green and it opens up, Tomoya steps inside to reveal a large cargo elevator. As Tomoya wondered where this would lead him it automatically went downward until it reached a large room covered with metal conduits. The conduits were powered by heavy electricity as it swayed across the conduits leading to a small device in the center.
"What the hell is this?" Tomoya said to himself as he gotten closer to the device. All the source of electricity in the ship was running to this small container, it had a small white glowing gem in the top, it was familiar. "A copy of the Stone of light...impossible, who was this man" Tomoya questioned the man who lead him here, the stone pulsated as his hand gazed over it, Tomoya's stone reacted strongly to it's copy.
"It's real...but how?" Tomoya muttered as he placed his palm over the stone. Suddenly all the electricity started to dance around him, until it eventually reached his body where it was absorbed. "They're coming back to me? My powers" Tomoya said to himself until another thought was heard, "This is my last words to you, you cannot use your powers still, but wait until the moment the words speak to you...goodbye my friend" It spoke and the stone in device faded into Tomoya's hand.
Tomoya nodded as he heard the man's voice, "Who was he" Tomoya muttered as he got back onto the elevator and took it back up and rushed to the Chief Science Officer's office. He saw Dillon.
Meanwhile.
The Liberty Prime was dancing over it's victory over Mokou as it yelled and rambled about communists in glee. It gave them a good chance of getting the card...and their weapons. But little did the robot know that he victory was not true at all.
As Liberty Prime rambled on, Snake took the chance to slip into his Battle dress.
After some sneaking, he got close enough to grab it's attention.
He whistles and shouts "HEY!"
Prime turned and looked down at Snake:
[yes, that is a Steel Bandanna...]
"Lets do this thing..." He said as he aimed and fired a RPG at his head.
Boss's powers were gone. He didn't know how or why, but he was effectively useless in a fight now. Which was bad, because there was a giant robot doing the worst Jack Bauer impression ever standing in the armory. Boss had to think fast.
"Communist?" Boss shouted. "COMMUNIST! I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW I'M THE MOST AMERICAN AMERICAN THERE EVER WAS, AFTER JOSEPH MCCARTHY!"
Boss then put his hand over his heart and started singing. "OH SAY CAN YOU SEE? BY THE DAWN'S EARLY-"
"HEY!" Snake shouted. "Let's do this thing..."
And Snake shot Liberty Prime in the face with a Rocket Launcher.
"I would have thought convincing it we weren't commies would be easier..." Boss said, grabbing a pistol. "But explosions are very American, too. Also, Snake, if you ever get an opportunity to watch a movie called Transformers, avoid it like the plauge"
Liberty Prime took the shot and returned fire at Snake.
While the Battle Dress was heavy, he'd gotten all the practice he needed at dodging incoming fire.
During a evasive roll, he picked up a M60 and unloaded on the machine.
Someone control Liberty, I hate posting for both sides in a fight
I would but I have college soon. So I can't post always but I can post a bit now
Liberty Prime's armor dented when the M60 was unloaded into him, "COMMUNISTS MUST DIE!" He said as he launched one of his nuclear bombs at Snake. He made a overarm throw which left Snake time to dodge. As he threw the bomb he turned his attention to Boss and started to charge up his eye beam cannon.
Snake did another evasive roll, but was unaware it was a Mini-Nuke and was sent into a pile of crates by the blast.
He got back on his feet and saw that it was now targeting Boss, so he took the chance to unload on it's back as seemingly it was less protected.
Boss wasn't stupid; he knew that glowing eyes needed to be avoided at all costs. However, there was also the matter of what might happen if the ship was damaged; Boss didn't want to dodge a death-beam just to get sucked into the void of space (where he would get hit by a death-beam). Which meant he had about two seconds to find something sturdy enough to hide behind that-
And then he saw the Metal Gear. It was a old one, from Zanzibar Land, if he recalled correctly, but it was still the biggest, sturdiest thing in the room, so he bolted behind it.
"DEMOCRACY IS NOT AN OPTION!"
Boss dove behind the leg of the Metal Gear just as Bauer-bot blasted him; he landed on his stomach, and the attack hit low. The Metal Gear creaked and fell over...right on top of Liberty Prime.
Liberty Prime pushed the MG D-Type off him, causing it to stand upright.
Snake was still firing the whole time, thus attracted his attention.
"BETTER DEAD, THEN RED!"
It fired it's laser at Snake, only nearly missing him as he rolled to the side and reloaded.
As Snake was leaving dents with the M60, and seeing that Boss and Snake are the only ones fightning Liberty Prime he changed his targets to just them. "CHANGING WEAPONS!. He yelled as he arms began to tranfrom. Little did the two know that this was Liberty Prime MK2 and could change weapons. He changed to these...
He had dual miniguns on both his arms, they were the size of a mini van each and had 50 Cal bullets which had explosve consiquences. "You will never reach your weapons!" He yelled as he barrels started to spin up.
Boss and Snake gazed back to the mushy pile of blood and guts from the room Liberty Prime came from and saw the keycard to their weapons stick out like a broken sore thumb. "We might want to get that so we can pull out the heavy artillery" Snake said and Boss nodded as well.
