The Yata mirror took all of the attacks without Amaya even flinching. When the smoke cleared, Amaya and the susanoo was completely unharmed. She swung at Akuma with the sword in its upper right hand. If it hit, he would be sealed into the gourd carried in its lower right hand.

 

[Ninjamedic]

As the sword approached, Akuma phased past and used the recovery time to charge up. Crimson Flames appeared around his hand as he focused the energy of the Satsui No Hadou into his hand.

"Metsu."

Caim's teeth flashed at the sound of battle. "Here's my favorite kind of party, blood and iron!"
With flames dancing from his blade, and a silent roar on his face, Caim charged into the fray with Tomoya, Adel and Puce.

The shield took the hit again, send Amaya back a few steps, but she was still unphased by the attacks. She reached out with an empty hand and picked up Akuma. She brought him to infront of the Shield. "You have been fun. Let's agree to do this again once you can compare." She said and set him down.

 

[Ninjamedic]

"You dont want me to hold back then? Fine".

 Power limit at 50%

"Well, lets see then, MISOGI!"

Akuma leaps into the air and slams down on Amaya's head, Crimson flames eminating from his hand.

"Now you will know the power of the Satsui No Hadou!!" The energy explodes from his hand, as the symbol for heaven appears on the ground in flames. Amaya was knocked out.

"Valiant effort child, but you have much to learn". Akuma sat back down and continued watching the fight.

Adel was forced back by Caim's advance with his now flaming sword.
He managed to parry a few swings but the heat made it extremely hard.
He threw out a small "Reppu-ken!" to try and get Caim off him.

Akuma was watching the fight only to find someone tapping his shoulder. "That was an amusing little move you did. How did it feel to champion over me?" Amaya asked him. Looking over, he would still find her body unconscious on the ground.

(OOC: I didn't mean his sword was on fire, but I'll roll with it...)

Caim dodge-rolled to the right; extinguishing the flames for a moment. His smile grew, feeling his old thirst for blood kick in. Caim took and step back, and shouted (mentally) "COMETDANCE!"

Caim thought he heard a dog barking for a moment, but as expected, three enormous fireballs went straight at Adel. And behind them, Caim was charging in.

Adel saw the incoming fireballs and used "Dark Barrier!"

The Cometdance Fireballs were sent back at Caim, who managed to avoid them but this opened him up for a strike to the jaw and a follow up kick.

Caim was knocked flat on his ass, but persisted. With a grumbling sort of huff, Caim got back up and took a few steps back, and charged again. Hearing a screech in his mind, Caim plunged the sword forwards, creating a sonic burst towards Adel

Adel was knocked into a wall by the burst but forced himself up and engaged Caim.
Despite Caim's Sword skills, Adel managed to grab his arm and preform a Judo style throw, twisting his wrist painfully to disarm him once he was on the ground.

So, she must be in my mind now. She couldn't have got back up from a hit like that.

"I'm guessing you can alter people's perceptions of reality, who or what are you exactly?" Akuma was now slightly intrigued (if not slightly annoyed) with the nature of her abilities.

"It's not everyday I encounter an opponent with your powers or techniques."

"I am a kunoichi, a ninja. to be specific, a chakra ninja. I use jutsus to form my chakra to attack and defend." She said taking a seat next to him. The Genjutsu dropped and she and Akuma were facing each other like they were about midway though the fight.

The flames behind him were blown out by an invisible wind. "You are fun to fight." She said.

Caim grimaced in pain as his sword was torn away from him. He could hear the spirits protest as the blade clattered uselessly to the ground. Caim looked up at Adel, and that devilish smile appeared again, "A challenge?! Oh... This will be good."

With a flourish of his hand, a polearm appeared in his hands. Caim's good old buddy Fheng's Glaive came out to play.

Caim sweeped at Adel with his free hand, and then rolled to grab his familiar blade. Quickly sheathing it; Caim turned to Adel. "My turn."

 

[Ninjamedic]

"You are a promising opponent. I shall expect great things from you soon. You are still limited, as you are yet to transend your humanity." He then resumed watching the fight, studying Adel's techniques. They seemed familiar......

Foreshadowing for the Shin Akuma fight later on.

She sat next to Akuma. "I already have transcended my humanity. I have lived past the end of the universe and its rebirth. I have become an angel in the past 2000 years, but i never call my powers into play. My power is at its limit i'm afraid." She said, then felt a coughing fit about to come upon her. She turned away from Akuma to hide herself from his sight while she began coughing into her hand.

A sharp pain hit her stomach and she looked into her hand to find it bloody. Panic and fear came over her. But...but... i'm an angel, how am i coughing up blood?!?

Adel back-flipped several times to put some distance between Caim and his Weapons.
Realising that he couldn't get back in to do damaged, he began to space Caim out with several "Hadoken!"s.

This did little to hurt him, but they helped to out him in a better position for Adel to attack.

It seems she is still human after all. He looked back to the fight, waiting patiently for the outcome. He was now intrigued in these new warriors, they practiced styles he had not seen and abilities that were far above the average of what he had fought in his travels. Not since his fight with Oro or Galactus had he encountered such levels of power.

Caim swiped the glaive every which way, when all else failed, Caim pause for a moment and shot forth around 3 seals of runes onto the ground. They seemed to spew some kind of green gas, but upon close inspection, one could see that it was self contained. The flooring looked rotted in and around the circles...
"See if you can run from these!" Caim then charged again.

Adel Realised that his zoning was not working and decided just to advance, avoiding the toxic circles.
Once face to Face with Caim again, He managed to grapple him and get in some Slashing Aura Blows to his face and gut before trying to force him into one of the circles.
