Angelus chuckled lightly, "You needn't worry about that, little one."

Caim sat down and leaned against the dragon's leg as well.
"*YAWN* Can't say I blame his choice of placement. Your leg is the perfect substitute for a tree... "

The dragon's teeth bared, showing clear annoyance with Caim,"Surely you jest. I am not a bed!"
"Oh can it, dragon. Knowing our lives, this won't last long. Just let me sleep for a little bit, alright?"

Angelus gave another trademark "HMPH" and rolled her eyes as her human compatriot fell asleep against her leg. Truth be told, her leg was about the size of Caim; so the notion that her leg was a tree trunk wasn't too far off...
To entertain herself as the two slept, the dragon looked onwards towards the interactions of the humans, and mused of the events of the day.

 

[Knife-28]

Flashback!
Knife squares off against Shadow, and (This taking place between two moving vehicles mind you) fakes left, before sliching diagonally rightwards across the other sniper's chest.

Present!
Knife was watching the buzz-bots repair his vehicle when one of them zaps him. "Ow, lil' bastard stung me!" He says, earning a quick 'sorry' from Puce.

Angelus gave a nod of recognition; "Greetings Succubus. Kurumu, wasn't it? I see that you have exerted some more control against the Kagone girl, this time."
Taking note of the Succubus' manner, Angelus added, "I take it you need to let off a bit of steam in regards to them?"
She inclined her head to Puce and Kagome. Knowing full well that if Kurumu did want to talk, she'd prefer it in privacy (as mortals and immortals with 'human' minds were want for such things; Caim's previous party taught the dragon this).
"Come closer, I do not bite... I much prefer my fires; and they are low, for now."

The dragon couldn't help but chuckle at the display before her; "It seems I spoke too soon. That's what I get, eh? "
She sat back and watched Kagome's actions after Kurumu's verbal attacks; and shook her head,
"Now, this, is why I never cared to mate. Furthermore, they are only making this situation worse for themselves..."

Caim awoke with a start; and immediately hit 'panic mode'. He threw Kagome and Kurumu off of him with a frenzied look on his face. His sword was drawn an he looked ready to cut someone into ribbons. Before he could get any further; the dragon moved the stricken leg forward, with Cadolbolg sliding off and wobbling to the ground. Angelus no longer looked bemused by the proceedings, rather; pure, righteous, fury coursed through the dragon.
She took another step forward, her tail curling around her 'family' and smoke rising from her nose. She looked to the women, and her teeth bared.
"Listen closely, and listen well, both of you. I will admit, I was amused by your shenanigans at first. The petty spats, the little cat fights. They weren't deadly; and they did not coincide with any third parties, save for the Lanterns. Not that I want to speak of them at the moment... Now, you both are taking it too far. You have brought myself and Caim into this; and I don't take kindly to that. Look at yourselves.

Succubus, look at your opponent. You are a creature feared and loved for your charm and grace, not savagery of lesser beings. Are you so insecure of your grasp of your male, a human, that you must resort to attacking mortals. Even after he has established that he desires you, and you alone? The fact that you spirit him away from his very race should be enough for you! Now, I do appreciate a good of a fight as any, but perhaps he is not deserving of a mate who is so fearful of loss that she acts as a child! I thought as an immortal you would know better...

And you, Kagome. You have been no help in this situation either. You could have been the better, by not starting anything. Yes, she was distrustful of your sweets, but you have kept them for yourself! Also, you repeated the one mistake one never does with immortals. You keep digging into past hurts. If you want to establish an alliance with a possible opposing army, you do not tell them you killed their king and hold his crown aloft. Alongside that, you do not attempt to disavow her as I do now, you play along with this petty game of words and scratches. Look at what that has 'gained' you. Broken ribs, most likely.

Now you two need to stop this petty rivalry. Before you anger any less merciful beings. Do my make myself clear?
Caim, put your sword away. It will not be needed."

Caim had done as the dragon said, and collected Caldobolg; moving closer in the dragon's zone of protection. He still looked very twitchy, like he expected an attack from the two any moment.

As Tomoya looked at the argument between Kurumu and Kagome he could clearly see that things were getting out of hand and Angelus was trying to help with no anvil. Again another sigh fell out of Tomoya's mouth as he came into the conversation.

He appeared in the middle of the two groups with lightning coiled around him whilst avoiding the metal. "Ugh. Why must I be the one to tell a secret." Tomoya says whilst gathering everyones attention. "Okay. Here is what I tell you. I know of Kurumu's world...hell I have been there before. Everyone here comes from another world...even me. You can't say she isn't real, because if she isn't that mean you arn't real or all of us arn't real." Tomoya said as he glared at Kagome with lightning eyes.

He then gazed to Kurumu and looked at her gently. "You are real, sure you may not have your body. But your soul and heart are still real. You must believe in that to be real...and your love is real. Just like how mine for my wife and for this world is." He said to Kurumu still looking gently.

He then glared angrily enough that could cause a storm at Kagome which briefly turned him to his other form. "And I know...MANY...secrets" Tomoya said before noticing the giant metal spike in Puse's back.

Tomoya ran to the kneeling body of Puse that was bleeding a pool of blood a minute. He knew he could save him. And he did want to save him since he was his rival and friend, like how he saved Youmu before. "STAND BACK!" He yelled to everyone that was around them. Tomoya then began to pray to gather the power needed to save his life. It all depended on the people that loved him and Puse himself.

Coiled wrapped around him as his hair began to change from black and white and into his normal hair again. Although it seems that God himself was judging the situation.

Falcon just stared, certain he'd been about to say something. He looked at the dying Puce and how Kagome, who he suddenly remembered he'd been about to blow the cover of on her bitchiness, seemed to now be holding him up - it wouldn't work any more. Besides, Tomoya had already gotten as far as he was ever likely to. Being invisible and missing all your cues. Some superpower that is. I don't know why I don't just get on a plane back to Australia, he mused as he walked off, trying to forget the state he'd just seen Puce in.

Okay, maybe it's not my Australia, but at least I wouldn't feel superfluous any more. All these people from all these backgrounds with all these powers, and I'm useless unless I have a birdbath at my fingertips. And then only one person even knows I exist at a time. If this is real, and I'm not insane yet, I need to get out of here before it gets worse.

Caim was stunned by the quick turn of events. First he was sleeping, and the next thing he knows, his second-born pseudo child had exploded before him. His first instincts told him that he should cut down the irritating school girl before him and be done with it. His second thought was that, for once, violence may not be the best idea; given that the dragon beside him was considering the very same thing.

As he walked forward to possibly aid Puce (as arrow bits and broken daggers came to mind with his solidiers) he felt an immense wave of emotion from the dragon. Anger, the primary one, followed by loss, and... Pity. On his way to see the damage; Caim called out to Angelus:
"Angelus. I need your help. Our ally is dying; and it's partially our son's fault. That is, if you keep insisting on calling him that. I need you to be my voice, so they will understand me. Will you help me?"

Knife watches the events unfold before him, franticly searching through his jacket for something that could help Puce. 'Come on man, just hang in there....'

As the power flowed out of Tomoya he actually came back down from the talk with his master and looked to the ground. "Sorry. I cannot do it, God has said that I cannot change or edit this event...someone must help him apart from me" Tomoya said witha sad voice as he kept kneeling and looked at the bleeding Puse whilst the electricity around him was once stored again within him.

Then he saw Caim he looked like he was going to do something with Puse but Tomoya had beaten him. "You know anything Caim...if your going to heal him in any way at least let me help" He said still depressed and hopeful in some kind of way.

The dragon answered for the swordsman, "We will. All of you, get any medical supplies you have!"

and Caim continued forward. He had the dragon work as crowd control and had her order around for various supplies. This person got fresh linens, that person got various tools that Caim needed, others a substance that Caim was told would cleanse the wound and prevent infection. Things were scrapped together, preped, Caim had his hands cleaned and put on a fresh pair of gloves. This was going to be nasty...

[HEADING=1](IN ADVANCE, I APOLOGIZE IF THIS DEFIES MEDICAL SCIENCE I AM NOT A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL. DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS.)[/HEADING]

He began by examining the object. It wasn't too off from some wounds he had seen before; save it was a bit deeper and far more jagged. Caim had noticed the initial size of the object, and began with a gentle tug using some forceps. Given that there wasn't much to work with, Caim figured that there was no point to try to work with anesthesia.
He worked slowly to ease the metal out from Puce's body. After what felt like a millenia, Caim sighed in relief as the metal came out of Puce. That's when the blood started to show through. Caim called over the dragon, and, to the shock of everyone around them, Caim eased the dragon into blowing fire over a small piece of sterilized metal. He then touched the offending areas with said metal, and a hiss filled the air; alongside the smell of cooking flesh.
But that's when Caim noticed something was wrong. Puce still looked rather faint, despite immediate danger being out of the way.
"His breathing is wrong. Open him."
Following the dragon's guidance more than his own, Caim was then walked through how to properly open Puce's chest cavity, to find a punctured lung. After that, Caim did his (crude) best to remove the lung as cleanly as possible, and used the cauterization process again to seal off the pathways to the lung. Following the dragon's procedure's again, Caim then cleaned up the remaining blood as best he could; and took to some needles and thread. His stitches were slow, and somewhat clunky, but they did the job.

With a *phew* and a slump, Caim was carted away by the dragon, who then advised, "You'd best get him some immediate treatment from your professionals. He's going to feel hell when he wakes."

That's when she noticed Cadolbolg was following behind her. A small smile formed in her jaws, but said nothing. She could scold him later.

Now that that's out of the way, anyone who wants to stop another exit can.

Falcon wanted to leave as quickly as possible, but hadn't counted on meeting Youmu again in the hallways. "Where are you going?" she asked him, not knowing anything that had been happening.

"The garage. From there, I don't know. Find an airport, leave the country, and hope you don't follow me."

"You...you hate me that much?"

"No, not you personally, but--"

"You jerk!" Youmu didn't seem able to control herself, but rather than getting decapitated - which was what he'd flinched back in anticipation of - she'd just run off, perhaps about to burst into tears. Falcon didn't know what, but something must have happened recently to push her to that - not that it was his problem any more.

He found the garage without many problems, and inside he saw...

A McLaren F1. The fastest way to get out of the area - and he even knew how to keep it on the road. Now all he had to do was find the keys...

Before Youmu came.

As Tomoya looked at the work Caim had done he sighed with relief once more. Getting the blood of his hands from helping Caim with the operation. Puse was an asshole, but he was still a friend and rival to Tomoya. A smirk was printed on the face of Tomoya as he hopped back onto his bike.

"I'm gonna go to the hospital and make sure he is okay" Tomoya said to everyone before he put on helmet and left with Meat Wagon. He still remembered the time Rugal owned his ass when he went to Hospital the last time. He wanted to make sure he was okay and safe from harm.

"I'm...I'm going to go with 'em." Knife says, before driving off after the Meat Wagon and Tomoya.
