Cortex was about to enjoy the Breaker of Wine N. Gin left for him when Chrysalis landed nearby.
"Queen Chrysalis?! Wait....They Know don't they?..." He asked as he walked over breaker and glasses in hand.
He looked at the ruins of the Harbour, The place was a wreak to begin with but now? A Atomic Bomb could've dropped on it and no one would tell the difference.
"So how will this affect our plans?" He asked as poured another glass for the Queen.

Angelus glided next to Puce and Kurumu, and Caim raised his sword triumphantly. They looked battered, but in far better condition than the lovers found the partners in.
"Are you two holding up well?", the dragon asked.

 

[Orinon]

Dillon and Carol waled over to Caim Red, Puce and Kurumu. they were only a bit scratched up and they felt survivors guilt for it, but they had brought medical supplies to help patch them up as a way of saying sorry.
"Hey guys, sorry we disappeared during that fight after doing one good thing, but we brought first aid kits to make up for it." Dillon said, his smug grin that usually plastered his face was gone, though then again he didn't have anything to be smug about.
though today was fathers day Dillon had a longing to be with Riolu, but unfortunately he didn't know if he could go.

Guess I'll start doing this too...

Cortex nodded and said "Why thank you, Queen, N. Gin might be a major idiot in many fields but he knows a good Italian Wine. You are also the one person in years that has not tried to kill me...At least, not yet"
Cortex sighed a little at that comment.
"Story of my life...Say, you need a ride, seeing how..." He pointed to the wreaked Wedding Crasher to prove his point.

As the race finished. Tomoya had already dealt with the rest of the enemy cars. He relaxed as he came to a stop and removed his helmet. His face got closer with his watch, "Ok, I'm done down here. Bring it in." Tomoya commanded. As Tomoya got off his bike and removed his helmet the clouds began to part as it revealed a big sight indeed.

Weapons: Lightning Ion Cannons x2, Lightning Launchers, Power Missiles.
Defense: Lightning Shield, Angel Shield, 100x Titanium Plate armor.
Rooms: Top Floor, Commanders Room.
Second floor: CIC/Guest/Leader rooms.
Third floor: Soldier Rooms, med bay, Canteen, dojo, armory, etc.
4 floor: Engineering, escape pods, storage.

The ship came closer to the ground. It was 50 meters off the ground. A beam came down and both lifted Tomoya and his bike off the ground and into the hanger. "When I get in activate the camouflage and security shields around the ship." Tomoya said once more as he began ascending like an angel into the ships hanger.

As Tomoya got into the hanger. The cloud stealth system came back in and the lightning shields came back online as well the ship rose 5000 meters above the ground. Tomoya left his bike in the hanger as he came to the Command Center. Everyone saluted him and welcomed him back as he sat in his Command Seat overlooking the land below.

"Call back the Lightning Hawk from the Rising Dawn...and someone get me a red bull" He sighed as the crew got commanded.

Caim glared at Kurumu; and had a mildly sulky expression. "Perhaps you're right. Angelus wouldn't be like this if I had done more."
At the giving of the flowers, however, Caim seemed to freeze. This was... New, for him. With a confused expression, Caim gave a small nod of thanks and patted the little turtle's head.
"There's a Father's Day? Huh."
Caim's mind drifted to his father, and the sword that he was bequeathed; especially the circumstances that had lead to his inheritance...

When the group had met up with the lanterns, Caim was relieved to see that they had medical supplies with them. Following Carol and Dillon's advice, Caim began to apply antiseptics and antibiotics to Angelus' wounds before his own. It was his carelessness that lead to her wound, and subsequent madness after all. He shook his head like a wet dog. Such thoughts were not common to him; he needed to stop. What was past, was behind him. There was no use to worry about such things.
"A waste of time."

 

[Orinon]

"SO the Anime girl is actually an evil love sucking monster, well that just means me and carol have to kill it and I got to make sure it doesn't get to me, with this ring my love for Amaya and my kid is only multiplying, I kinda want to go visit her right now but well, I don't wqant to abandon you guys, but I don't want little Riolu to feel scared."
Dillon was walking in circles Carol knew leaned over to Kurumu
"Don't worry this happens to Star Sapphires, we use love as our source of power so we're incredibly sensitive about it. Now as for that ***** Chrysalis well..."
Her star Sapphire ring began to pulse with Violet light
"I'm going to show her the Love

Cortex smiled but it soon faded.
"Alright, Life...Hasn't been kind. First off, I was born to a Family of Circus Freaks, Hence the errr-ahhh..." He motioned to his head.
"Gods, I hated being a Clown and mocked at by paying viewers so I spent much of my time educating myself, For that, That is where I got this when I was 3." Pointing to the "N" on his forehead.

"I was so...Filled with rage, so angry all the time, a week or so later, I rigged the firework stand, entire park was killed. Facing certain death on the streets, I joined up in Madame Amberly's Academy of Evil, a school for evil children at 4. It was a great place for a young mind like me and where I met two of my oldest friend's, N. Gin and Nitrus Brio. and my oldest enemies, Jocks..."

"After a rather hard day when I was 8, Nitrus Brio talked me into sneaking out and going to high school, where we thought we would be reveered for being the youngest people to ever graduate.
So even more Jocks until another "freak" explosion blew up the entire building, as well as most of the surrounding town, Me and Brio were two miles underground in an abandoned plutonium mine."

"Following that, we travelled the world, blowing stuff up. I was once on the FBI most wanted list, you know. Then I found I.N.Sandity Island off the coast of Australia, where I set up my Lab and my Company Cortex Power. Me and Brio began to make our own Army of Super Animals.
Then "He" Came into my Life..."

"A Bandicoot by the Name of Crash, I was going to use the Evolvo-Ray on him and his mate Tawna, He was rejected and everything went down hill from there. He destroyed my lab, My Castle, My Airship, Everything I tried failed. I even went into the past to try and kill him, Went about as well as you'd think and as a Result, I was sent here..."

As Tomoya sipped on his Red Bull he sighed as he saw everyone living it up after the latest race. "Co-Commader, man the deck. I need to relax a bit." Tomoya ordered as his second in Command nodded as he left to go to his room.

As Tomoya got to his room he chucked all of his clothes off and smiled as his looked at the 360 view he had. He walked to his Japanese bathroom to finally have a scrub after many, many years. As he bathed he wondered about the food he should get up here.

I googled it on a whim because I thought it wouldn't exist. But I was wrong. So very wrong... I found it. It exists... WHILE SHE'S STILL A DRAGON! She has a semi-canon human form, but Nooooooo.... *quietly has childhood die inside*

Caim looked at Kurumu with a very confused expression; "I got them from Cadolbolg... What is she going on about?"
The dragon only shook her head, "Are you really that dense? You surprise me, Caim."
Caim shrugged his shoulders, and then continued to apply various ointments to the dragon's wounds. The dragon could only sigh in relief as the pain in her wing/various other wounds began to lessen.
As Caim acted as a doctor, he asked, "Did you tell Kurumu you liked flowers? Because I understand why Cadolbolg gave them to me, but I don't know what to do with them."
The dragon let out a throaty laugh, and said, "They are well and good, but lack function. I appreciate the offer, but I will find as much use for them as you will."
A smile flitted over Caim's face for a moment, and then he returned to his work.

Carol laughed as Puce hid his face,
"Boy, I have no desire to attack you, I have a monster to track down, Dillon you stay here, I know you want to help me but it would be too dangerous, I have to fight her without you, if you join in there's a chance the monster could use your love against me."
With that Carol began to glow and fly away.
Dillon was a bit disappointed but followed her order.
"SO Kurumu, why did you hug me? Is that just a thing with you.....?"

Caim had finished applying the medicine to Angelus; and on her urging, he was taking the same actions for himself. He gave a small nod to Puce, and Angelus gave a greeting. Puce could tell that she was watching Caim's application rather carefully; and she occasionally spoke tidbits, such as, "You forgot the mark on your neck." "Little to the left. You're other left"
Upon finding a stopping point, Caim asked (through Angelus) "So, do you know where this new place is? Hawaii? It's the first I've heard of it."

Before Cadolbolg started breathing fire

Caim nodded to Kurumu's request. He had seen infection take many a good soilder's life; and he would be damned if he let the same happen to him. With some time, Caim removed his armor; frowning at the fact that a large gash remained in the breastplate. He looked to Puce; trying to indicate the armor with some hand motions and pointing at the gash. Angelus let him pantomime for a moment or two, and then finally spoke up; "He is trying, terribly, to ask you if you could fix his armor. That gash isn't going to help us any."

With that, Caim needed only to roll up the bottom of his shirt and underlying chain-mail (which also needed repairs) to show and maintain his recent battle wound. Following the removal of the bandages, Angelus could see that the suture was holding; and it didn't look infected. The true horror lied in it's shape and color in comparison to the rest of Caim's flesh. Instead of a normal tanish tone, the skin around the wound was much darker, and seemed to have a yellowish tint to it; alongside some bruising around the area. The black string looked unnatural to Angelus' eyes, lacing in the flesh like a serpent; and knotted like vines. Traces of the smell of dried blood and various medical chemicals assailed the dragon's nose, and she attempted to pay it no mind. Scars were prevalent on his abdomen; which made sense in the dragon's mind. Wounds to the gut were fairly common in the medieval world, and her partner was no different.

After getting a good look at the wound, she found herself falling into her old habit of telling where he missed areas of treatment, giving a small nudge in different directions verbally whilst the human did his best to comply. Once he finished dressing; Caim noticed that Cadolbolg was starting to breathe fire and wave a tail that resembled a blade.
"Am I going mad, dragon, or is the turtle breathing fire?"

Angelus took a gander at the turtle as well, and was surprised to see the spectacle before her as well. Her chest swelling slightly in pride; Angelus was already formulating lesson plans for the turtle.
"I'll teach him the true secrets of fire..."

Caim took a quick looksie at the newly repaired armor; testing it with a tap of fingers. Taking little time to reequip it; Caim found that it felt good as new. A few stretches and test swings of his sword, followed by more chiding from the dragon, Caim was quite happy with the condition his armor was returned to. When he turned to thank Puce for the effort, as well as attempt to pay for the favor, he found Puce fast asleep on the ground.
"Perhaps at another time."

Angelus, on the other hand, was still watching Cadolbolg and concocting different fire-based techniques for Cadolbolg. The fire-bird that Puce constructed was fascinating to the dragon as well; and she made a mental note to ask Kurumu and Puce about the various things seen and heard from the two in this passing moment of time.

Shadow finally sat up and looked around his area. He felt much better and knew that his wounds had healed. Shadow stood up and walked around the building looking for Calypso.

Cortex heard out the entire story, Topping the Queen's drink now and again.
"We're a lot alike, you and I. Sometimes, I wonder Why? Why take over the world? Then I hear a story like that, like my own. Then I know that these bastards have it coming..."
He stared out at the setting sun over the polluted sea.
"I wonder just how many heroes suffered like we did...Then, they'd understand...Well, errr, sorry if I opened old wounds..."

Cortex went into a similar trance himself, Once he got his wish, He would remove Crash from existence and the world would be his.
"Indeed...Indeed they would..." He repeated.
After several minutes, He asked "Just what are you going to wish for? After the contest I mean."

That comment stuck in Cortex's mind, She was right, What if it backfired?
He then realised he'd have to word it carefully.
"That...is a good point, but after all my attempts to end that blasted Bandicoot, This is my best chance. I can take on nations so long as that orange pest isn't in it. He is the one thing stopping me from ruling my world and I have to get rid of him."

Cortex poundered this, Could Chrysalis be right? Could he be sealing his fate getting that wish? what if Calypso did screw him over? what if-
Something caught his eye, a strange cloud, A Large Cumulus, The only one of it's kind in the whole sky.
Why was it there? The weather didn't support it being here.
"Queen, Watch the Truck, I'll be right back." He said as he got out and looked up at the cloud.
"....???....Cloud Camo?..."

As Tomoya sat in his tub he actually had someone bring him up a big bowl of noodles. Yes, he was hungry, dirty and very, very constipated. Only after Puse 'showed' him how good it felt to poop again he also wanted to bath, eat and play video games.

After he jumped out of the bath, Tomoya decided to switch to his summer school uniform which he usually wore. He then started to play his Xbox360 on his awesome king sized bed. He felt something wrong though. As he got up he looked around and grabbed his telescope he kept in his room and zoomed. He saw Cortex looking up at the ship. "What the?" Tomoya gasped in surprise as he walked quickly to the intercom in his room. "Weapons Crew please load the launcher with subject 120! We have a suspicious big headed man looking at us." Tomoya ordered.

As the crew received the strange order they did what they were told. They got one of the launchers filled with the subject and fired at the strange big headed man.

Meanwhile.

As Cortex as looking at the cloud a glint in the sky appeared and looked as it was coming closer. Yes that's right, it was a skunk and it was heading to Cortex.
