*The Khthonic Cult and the Eco-Terrorist were routed. Their Lord and God defeated. As the sun rose upon the City of New York, the Heroes got a full view of the devistation.*
*Buildings were shattered, the skyline of New York was no longer the same as it had once been.*
*However, thanks to Jenny's work, there were far fewer casualties than had been expected. The City had survived that attack and as the citizens watched the Heroes regroup and board their airship, they started the process of rebuilding.*
"Dammit! Is it bad?..." Blade asked.
Instead of waiting for an answer, once Angelus grew near, He leapt off and landed next to Jenny's ship. "Jenny! JENNY!" He shouted as he ran into the ruined Pub.
Quickly finding his beloved in such a slate, He welled up tears. "Oh God...Jenny, If you can hear me, Just hang on, We'll get you some help...Oh god..." He stammered as he started to sob. "Goddammit, I promised her..."
"That... Was the gift of the Gods. Forgive me, for I know you believe in God, but I come from a different plane, another thread of the universe and my world had many Gods and Spirits. That ... was them showing us mercy, and forgiveness." Akane said softly. She began to slouch less, as if a weight on her shoulds had been lifted.
Several of Akane's tails brushed up against Aftan, and the Knight felt the Kitsune stumble slightly. Aftan caught Akane, giving her a light shake.
"Come now, it is not that far back to the airship. You can sleep then."
"Gomenazai..." The Kitsune yawned back. She was asleep on her feet for all intents and purposes.
Angelus took note of the destruction of the gargantuan quadruped, and took a mental inventory of Caim's faculties. He seemed to be doing fine, but was a little distressed at being distracted from the big show; as he was cutting the minor cultists into ribbons.
"I'll find you on foot, you big lizard; so go and find Jenny. That Knight is here, along with the Fox. I'll see if we need to do anything."
Taking that message to heart, the dragon continued her course to Jenny's location.
When she saw what had been wrought upon the Pokemon, Angelus' eyes widened. A familiar, if somewhat disgusting, smell filled her nostrils, and a low growl filled her throat. "He has been here... Blade, I have some tracking to do. Watch Jenny; I'll have Cadolbolg take you two-"
That was when she heard Cadolbolg's attack upon the car; and in an irritated tone said, "Little one, as much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, they are not the ones we are looking for. Now, I need you to take these two back to the airship, alright? Your mother has a bit of hunting to do..."

It had been several hours, but Legna was pleased with himself. Giving a word of his return to the coven of female dragons; Legna felt as if he had something to look forward to... For once. Flying out near an increasingly desperate Inuart, Legna kept his bemused attitude as he swooped down and gathered his pact partner. Oh dear... He was raving about the woman again, and... The Grail had been lost. Legna could only suppress a sigh as he flew onward; thinking of stratagems with which to find the man and his doll. He wouldn't hear the end if it until the damned woman was alive again. Thinking of what would come when he had finished his work, Legna kept flying ahead.
Angelus cleared her throat and said, "I am called Red. Myself and several others were part of the effort to take down that enormous stone creature you see over there."
She gestured to the fallen Colossus, and then to Cadolbolg, "The exuberant destroyer of your vehicle is Cadolbolg, my adoptive son. He misconstrued you for an assailant of a friend of ours. She... Is there. Now, I have my suspicions of this attacker, as well as his scent, now if you don't mind; I really need to catch him before the trail goes cold."
"Wait just a second there!"
From behind the Genki-Mobile, Caim was beginning to make headway, running as fast as his human legs were able to carry him. Angelus let out an exasperated sigh, and pointed, "And that would be Caim, the most stubborn human I have ever met. An associate of mine, and battle partner."
As Caim finally reached the group, he gestured at Genki and Duke; "Who are these two?"
Looking back to Duke and Genki, Angelus continued, "Ah, I nearly forgot; this one here is unable to speak, thus I do for him. He is inquiring as to who you two are."
"Dad, please not now, i'm trying to help her. She won't take children's souls anymore after i make this contract. I know what i'm doing, ok Daddy?" she said then turned back to Lamia.
"Ok, One last thing to do." she said and held out her hand for Lamia to shake.
The woman shook it and that was seemingly it. Lily took a few steps back and then her hand began to bleed a little. She took the few drops of blood on her hand and smeared them on a small circle about a foot across with lines of runes connecting them to the main circle.
All of the runes began to glow red and darkness rose up, inflaming around the two of them. The three people had sat on the points of the pentagram and were being torn away by the darkness. It stripped them of everything until the bones were taken aswell. The black mass was now circling above until it all funneled down into the forehead of Lamia.
Her body began changing, becoming more demon-like in appearance.

Lily stood up. "Rise and take your freedom newborn." she said.
"Well I'm Duke Nukem, THE Alien Ass-Kicker. I was enjoying my retirement when these demon bastards showed up. You need any help? Looks like you all could do with another pair of hands."
"Genki needs no introduction! Your son will have to try harder to blow up my ride!"
Angelus only shrugged at the introductions; and after a friendly pat from Caim, took off to the skies. Caim slumped, "I wanted to go along too... Stupid dragon."

History: Originally a member of the "8-bit theatre" adventuring party with a certain Black Mage EvilWizardington, he has journeyed the world and fought for both heroes and villains. His legacy is left throughout the world in little trinkets he has dropped or presented as gifts.
Throughout the chaos of the journeys that had long been forgotten Red has picked up two lifelong companions, Alice and Tabitha. These conflicting ghosts have been occupying him and guiding him through troubles, often lending power to the mage in dire situations.
Abilities: Natural
Inexcusable Ignorance: Ignores anything that isn't related to Dungeons and Dragons or related tabletop games. All laws of physics and logic are moot.
Black Magic: A lifetime of practicing black magic has left him with many offensive spells in the Ice, Fire, and Lightning trees.
Light Magic: A lifetime of being HURT by casting aforementioned spells has left him with many healing spells and buffs. In the Holy, Evocation, and Divination trees.
Tabitha:
Applied Magic: Tabitha is a master Alchemist, having memorized thousands upon thousands of chemicals and laws. Her knowledge is given to Red Mage who can transmute objects into another. The laws of Equivilancy apply.
Mental Array: When Tabitha is concentrating, the Red Mage need not draw transmutation arrays as a mortal usually would. Transmutations happen on the spot and on the move.
The Voice of Chaos: As Tabitha's powers are used, the more Chaotic Red Mage becomes.
Alice:
Applied Science: Alice, who used to be a construct of a trillion nanites, has innate knowledge of technology and can absorb the schematics and converse with computers with a single touch. This ability is given to the Red Mage.
Distributed Calculation: Alice and process information faster than any other mortal, when needed she can slow down Red's perception of reality and map out courses of action. Her previous nanites also imbue her with the ability to work on a microscopic scale, making it possible for her to ionize specific molecules or atoms and form/break chemical bonds. Red Mage has access to this as well.
The Voice of Reason: The more Alice's powers are used, the more Lawful Red Mage becomes.
Synergy
Hands of God: Using both of their powers, Red Mage has access to an unlimited number of limbs formulated from air and water. These limbs are invisible and can pick up or slice through most things. They are also extremely fast, being with nearly no mass.
Rejuvenation: The two ghosts take care of Red's body. Making sure that sicknesses are expelled and wounds healed. This is done through both Alchemy and Nanoscience.

Personality: Capable of extreme intelligence. Mostly not. Usually very group oriented, works off insane troll logic, has a tendency to roleplay as a female a lot. Has daddy issues. Otherwise a fun guy(?) to be around. Alter Ego: "Deborah"
Equipment: Red feather hat. Red Robe. Staff. Assorted magical peripherals.
Abilities: Ice spells and feats of engineering made only applicable through intense bending of reality. Can dice roll to check for success. Natural 20 guarantees success. Other spells include Featherfall and minor healing spells. Specced into Alchemy, animal husbandry, and whatever else the plot demands. Can instantly learn new skills.
Appearance: Extremely feminine, long white hair and full red getup.
Backstory: Last of the order of the Red Mages and talented in many forms of magic. He is an enigma that no one cares to unravel.

It was a small card, a Jack of Hearts, neglected and dirty. It fluttered in the wind like any other, it flew high and it flew low. It fluttered when the wind picked up, and it glided when the winds were low. One thing remains for certain, is that it will never settle.
The card was special, with two women adorning the face instead of the regular jack. Both of them had long gray hair, one with eyes of red and the other wielding a great Scottish broadsword. Long ago, this card was of great importance, but now, in a world so different from one back then, the use of this artifact was dubious. Yet all the same the card drifted, travelling the world.

This day, under the bright sun and blue sky, someone caught the card in hand. He was a strange fellow with white hair and green eyes. Clad in robes of red and with smile as gentle as summer winds. He thumbed his hat and tapped his staff to the ground.
"Too long, too long I have been gone," he said.
A woman's voice asked him,"Damn it all to hell boy. Where have you been?"
"I don't know," the man replied, "weren't you with me this entire time?"
A second voice, softer, closed the discussion off, "Neither Tabby or I remember, and least of all you. Red Mage, where have we been? What has happened to this world?"
The man in Red slid the card in his pocket and walked off. He was about to do something, rediscover his past perhaps. Nothing was certain except for one thing. He was going to do it in style.
Caim only shrugged and went to grab his ever-excitable son; dislodging him from the car. Thinking that the dragon would be fine on her own, Caim walked over to see how Jenny and Blade were holding up.

Blade walked out with Jenny limp in his arms. "I'll bring Jenny back the Rising Dawn in the ship, Angelus might be too rough for her in this state..." He said to Caim before entering the Light Craft.
Carefully strapping her into the co-pilot seat, he whispered in her ear "I'm sorry..."
The Auto Pilot activated and took the ship back to the Rising Dawn.
Giving a nod of satisfaction, Caim typed in the PDA to Genki:

Once the Ship docked, Blade carried Jenny to the Med Bay where the Medical Droid took her off his hands and began to treat her many wounds.
Blade could only watch as he felt like a failure for letting this happen.
He should have been there, he should have saved her.
Soon his thoughts of sadness were filled with anger for whomever did this to her.
Bruiser meanwhile was in a Pay-phone walking to A.I.Bert. "I got your sample. So where to now? The City is a wreak and I'd like to get moving before Toot's and Co. show up..."

Bruiser merely sighed as he sat on the sidewalk next to the payphone and pulled out his Playboy.
