Caim stopped his punching of the wall to turn and look at the newcomer. In shock, he drew his sword, and pointed it at the hand, 'sending' to Angelus, "The hell is that thing?! Is it another related to that Knight?"
Angelus sighed, her shoulders slumping, "Do you not have eyes, Caim? It is a disembodied hand. After all we've seen and done, this should be nothing to you. I don't think it's related to Gabrielle. A stranger in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now, let's get that splinter out... Tell me, what brings you to the this ship, o Hand?"
David froze a little at the sound of Rugal's Name, while the Crime Lord was dead for ages, memories of his crimes where still fresh.
Stranger still, He even knew about him.
Shrugging it off, he said "Well in that case, No, World's fucked enough as it is." before taking a drink.
The hand's eye widened in shock as she made to remove the splinter from it's finger.
"I'm on a ship?" It turned back before the woman could remove the splinter, and pressed against the window, looking out. "How in the world did I get on a ship?!"
The blonde shrugged, "You tell me. The gods have a strange way of working things. I suppose you saw a bright light on the way in? That's what happened to me and Caim. Anyway, this is the Rising Dawn, owned by a boy named Dillon. He's the captain as well. After we relieve your ailment, we're going to take you to him. Can't have this many strangers on the ship. Everyone's been edgy with the recent events..."
Caim pulled out a PDA and typed:
Code:
"Not that you can really blame them. Aftan, one of our comrades, was just killed by some maniac who loves shadows. But apparently she's 'good' now. I'm not having it."
Daniel shrugged. "Whatever. More for e to go insane with." He said then listened to what duke had said and thought about it.
"Duke, i'm thinking something holy maybe. Try talking with the archangel, he might be able to get something blessed for you. We're dealing with demons after all, right?"
"Pfffff...Like I need a blessing..." David said before pulling out his Handcannon.
"This bad boy comes with custom made M500 Effect Rounds, Pop a few Blast Rounds into one of these and suddenly, life becomes a lot easier..." He grinned as he petty much pointed the barrel in Daniel's Face. "David, Please cut that out..." Jenny asked from the other side of the room.
Seeing that she too was hit by Aftan's passing, he complied as Jenny returned to watching Akane drink.
The hand turned back towards the two strange people, looking at them silently for a few minutes. Finally, he let out a sigh, leaning against his cane. He took off his hat, and reached into it, pulling out a small cigar, putting it in his "mouth".
"I have no idea what you guys are going on about. Let's just meet this captain of yours, so I can get a better idea what's going on, hmm?" He leapt up with a grunt, managing to land on the woman's left shoulder. "You don't happen to have a light, do you?"
Angelus gave a light smirk as the creature landed on her shoulder, and held up a finger, a minute flame lighting the cigar.
"Let's go, Caim. Perhaps Arnal has decided to stop speaking through Cadolbolg and we can have some peace..."
The mute only shrugged, and followed after the woman; making sure his blade was ready to draw. Too much had been going on on this 'safe house' of a ship. Too many surprise attacks. Caim would not fall to a lack of preparation again.
A sigh filled the dark room when Tomoya opened the now repaired suite he had. Due to the chatter from above or other Angels, Tomoya had found out about Red Mage's latest massacre. Tomoya didn't like how there was a 'white light'. He knew it wasn't well, but first he had to get his body back.
Tomoya sat on the ground and used the last of his spiritual energy to go there. To the all infinite and from where he was made and forged in the power he has now. His body converted in holy balls of light as they went through the ship and upwards to Heaven.
Location: Heaven, Archangel Care Ward.
As Tomoya walked into the ward, he disguised his presence so no one will know who he is. Unless another Archangel apart of the 7 came along or throne archangels as they call them. Tomoya came to the wards desk. "I'm sorry sir, this ward is only reserved for Archangels only." The receptionist said to the masked Tomoya. "Well I do believe they have a new body for me." Tomoya said back to her. "Oh sorry sir Barachiel, I do believe only few people in this ward know about you.". "No problem, just take me to the doctor." Tomoya said as he started to follow her.
Tomoya came to the room which a bandaged body laid on the medical table. When the doctor came in (Who had an eyepatch) was surprised at the Lightning Archangels appearance. "Lightning Archangel I didn't know you were here." He said and bowed to him. Tomoya just waved his hand, "I don't care for formalities Doctor. But thanks for the body." Tomoya said whilst smiling. "Well it was an order from God...the good thing is that I kept it from your brothers." The doctor said as he stripped the body of bandages. When the body was revealed Tomoya smiled. "What do you think?". "I like it so far. Except the hair is different, which doesn't matter. The eyes are still the same though." Tomoya nodded whilst looking at the body.
"You want to get in?" The Doctor chucked. "You know how hard it is to change bodies?" Tomoya laughed as well as his spirit form converted to lightning and went inside the body. "How do I look?" Tomoya asked as he said in his new body.

"Not bad. Different then before though...we had to fix the head quite a bit. What do you think? it is your new body" The Doctor said. "I like it. I feel younger and more less like I am going to fall apart." Tomoya said as he looked down. "Also I am naked." Tomoya frowned. "Your new clothes are over there." The Doctor said as he smiled weirdly. Tomoya then put the new clothes on which felt nice, but new. "Thanks for the work Doctor." Tomoya smiled as he shook the man's hand as he left the ward. As he left a patient looked at him strangely."I sense someone powerful. Is he the new brother?" Michael said whilst looking on Tomoya.
Location: Origin plains.
The newly made body of Tomoya hit the ground fairly hard but still standing as he was teleported to the plains. "Far from the Rising Dawn but well...I hope they don't miss me." Tomoya smirked as his lightning wings extended out from his back and his katana was also strapped to his back. A flick of his whist and the hidden blade came out. "A nice touch...now where do I go from here?" Tomoya pondered as he looked launched into the sky.
Eyes red and sore from crying, Akane finally stopped sobbing. She finished her current bottle of sake, and let it fall to the floor with a dull thud. Sighing at her own clumsiness, she reached down and grabbed the bottle, raising it to the collection of empties on the table. She gathered them all up and got up, promptly falling back in the chair. Steeling her self she got up once more, waving to and fro like only a drunkard could. Taking a tentative step, the Kitsune staggered over to the kitchen, her tails dragging along. She dumped the bottles in a bin, and turned and staggered towards the door.
She stumbled and fell, landing face first. Gritting her teeth, she pushed herself to her feet again and kept on stumbling forwards. She had had enough. After hearing the new pony Queen's little speech, she didn't care, and certainely didn't want to live on this plane anymore.
"And to think, after the complete des...des...disaster in my own world, I could evar hope to find love again? Someone who would care about me..... What a fool I was..." Akane drunkenly ranted aloud.
She removed her swords from her obi sash and tossed them to the ground.
"Thank you and goodbye, Heroes of the world, crew of the Rising Dawn. Good Luck and Good Hunting." Akane sadly told those around her as she opened the door to leave.
Huainan and Nanjing lay burning behind him, victim to Shabrinigdu's power. Ninety million souls screamed at him from the die at his hip, confused, afraid, angry. Their souls were a necessity, their rage and fear fueled the spells that danced at Red's fingertips. His rampant use of the Dragon Slave had left his own soul feeling very weak, the power of the Dark Lord was seeping into him.
He shrugged it off, Shanghai lay before him. The largest city in the world, a population of twenty three million. Twenty three million humans, and one daemonic monstrosity. Red noted that the Rising Dawn had not yet reached the city. There was time yet. When his team arrived, they would witness one of the greatest calamities of all time.
The mage in red smiled, as his professor, Rezo the Red Priest, always said that calamity and miracles where two sides of the same coin. You couldn't do great good without a little bit of evil. With that in mind RM walked toward Shanghai proper, his staff landing with rhythmic dull thuds that tried to mirror the chimes of his blind mentor.
"...I will not burn you." Akane said in a low and harsh voice. "That is not something Aftan would have approved of, nor wanted. But know this, Gabrielle. You should have moved the Heavens and Hell itself to get back to your love. Things... Would not have been so painful for her. Now let go please, I have another Journey to travel, another path to take. Sadly, it will not allow me to see her again, but perhaps I will be happy in resting peacefully with my own dead family."
Tomoe Akane raised her eyes and met the Knight's ferocious gaze.
"If you think I am a noble, then you have thought wrong. I am the last of my people, of a world destroyed by its own evil. I carried on in my hopes I could prevent the same fate befalling another world, so I trained and grew under my Mentor, Jack, the Grim Reaper. He took me in, showed me so much. And then when I thought I could never find love again, it found me, in the form of Aftan. And then you... You... you took her away from the world, from me. You showed me the true cruelty of the planes of existance, all the same. I have no will left to go on. I thought the sake would ease my pain, but it merely made me ache all the more. Now stand aside and let me go, or by the Gods I shall send you to meet your precious Aftan..." Akane hissed.
Akane caught her swords, and listened to Gabrielle. She shook her head and placed her swords in their place in her Obi. "Stand Down Knight. Aftan would not want you to kill another so she could be remembered and honoured in death. This is not the way. You are right, what Kistune am I? A coward. One who runs at the cause of pain and suffering. No. You are right. I will stand too, and fight in her name. I will fight the fight she can no longer fight. I will stand up for her values." Akane said, nodding.
She dropped to her knees, bent low with her head bowed. "Gabrielle, so that I may fight to protect and uphold all that Aftan held dear, will you teach me in her ways?"
Dylan was on his way to the canteen when he saw the disembodied hand.
"Hey, cool! I've never seen a creature like this before... It's even all dressed up!"
he gently picked up the hand to examine it a little better.
"Excuse me, but I am not a pet. Would you kindly put me down?" said the hand.
"It talks? but where's its mouth?" Dylan turned the hand around to see if there were hidden mouths. "do you have a name too?"
As Red Mage advanced the city, a man was walking away from it, Blonde and seeping with power,
He seemed dazed and wobbled from side to side a little as he walked towards the Red Mage.
He was silent as he passed by.
David watched as the African Little Red Riding Hood transformed into Chrysalis.
"I knew it. No Military would dare enlist someone who dressed like THAT in battle..." He said to himself as he kept drinking, slightly disappointed at this turn of events.
As Blade went back to the bridge, Jenny watched as Akane and Gabrielle got to know each other.
She was glad for both of them, but it was still a shame what happened to Aftan.
Akane cleared her throat, somewhat confused. "Gabrielle. Though I said I would stand up for all Aftan held dear, that does not mean you get to show me affection like that, nor will I give you such affection. I still hold you responsible for her death.
I will be in the training rooms, meditating and sobering up. And thank you." Akane said to the Knight, before bowing and heading for the training rooms.
Akane reached the training rooms and set herself up. Though she was still drunk, it wouldn't matter. Slowly yet surely, she began with some of the more simple techniques from Ataru, broad sweeping strokes calming her mind.
With each stroke, Akane perked up. Her tails stopped dragging, raising and soon swishing as the Kitsune lost herself in the patterns and swirls. She began to heat up, and added in small flourishes and flicks to the rountines. The kata had changed, now she was mixing them up and moving more freely around the room. A low sweep left her wide open, but she flowed smoothly into a wide diagonal high cut and sent a stream of fire up and out from her tails behind her.
The movements changed once more. Akane began to flow around the room, stepping and sweeping wide then close in, two steps forward one step back in an elegant pattern. Fire spiralled around her as she covered open points even as her sword flashed ahead of her. Walzting back to the center of the room she finished with a Duelist's Salute, sheathing her sword in one smooth motion.
Satisfied and her head much clearer, she sat down serenely in the middle of the training room with her swords across her lap and waited.
She had a feeling someone would come and talk to her, and she was ready for them now.
