Houston, we are arranging a coup de Inuart
Legna's eyes widened, and whispered with a mildly excited,
"You would do that? You can do that? If... If you could bring her back; Inuart would probably leave me alone! And I'd be in your debt; without a doubt. All I wanted, ever, was to be in a flight and to live the simple life. Have a mate, raise a few wyrmlings; the simple things... But you are right; the humans have made this so complicated. Gods above, if you'd like, you could join the Flight. A little diversity never hurt the genes..."

Caim spat at the suggestion of a peaceful solution between himself and the pact partners he hated, but still listened to the tale of the Lightning Dragon with curiosity. When she finished, he typed,
Code:
"I care not about their actions. I'll kill the both of them, be it from silencing that dragon or by plunging my blade into Inuart's heart. Either way, the job will be done efficiently. Neither of you can disuade me. This is the moment I've been fighting for all this time..."
Angelus gave a small sigh and shook her head,
"It seems there are some things I cannot change in you. How many times have I told you that revenge will get you nothing? That all those deaths by your hand, long after the Goddess was dead, were meaningless? Yet here you are, clinging to revenge as Inuart does to your sister!"
Caim's face turned to a scowl, and typed,
Code:
"Don't you even insinuate that! I'm nothing like him! That blasted dragon of his was the one who-"
"I KNOW! He killed your mother and father, destroyed your kingdom and instilled a want for blood since that incident. But you forget, he was but a soldier in the Empire; just like the many you've slaughtered. He had no will; or at least, the concept of it did not exist for him. Did you hear nothing of what Kurumu said? He wants to be left alone. If he had the chance, I'm certain he'd break the pact! ...But that hazards the question as to why he hasn't."
The man's scowl deepened, and upon kicking a wall, he stormed off. When he was out of sight, Angelus sighed,
"He thinks I pity Legna simply because he is a dragon. No... Being a pawn in a god's game is no easy task... Now, what will he do upon getting what he wants, I wonder?"
