Red Mage looked up at Adramelech and scowled. There was only one spell that could stop him, and he was loathed to use it, the next best thing came first. Tomoya was in the background firing off lightning at the Daemon Lord. RM stared at the beast and he stared back. It was quite awhile before either did anything.
RM stood up and brushed himself off, letting the Ruby Blade vanish back into the Astral Plane. "Not yet," the mage in red replied as he got back into pose. He held out his left hand and his right hand away from each other.
"Darkness beyond twilight,Brilliance beyond dawn.
Crimson deeper than blood that flows. Deep azure that softly glows.
Buried in the flow of time, Brushed aside by daemon's wings,
In thy great name, In thy holy name,
I pledge myself to darkness. I pledge myself to light.
Let the fools who stand before us, Let the children that are lost before us,
be destroyed by the power you and I posses! be redeemed by the strength that you bestow!
Dragon Slave! Judgement!"
In his right hand, white gold light dropped itself from the heavens and formed a small dense ball. In his left, darkness rose from the earth and formed a small red ball. The mage held these two at polar ends, black lightning arced between them as he moved his hands closer together.
"You who exist between light and dark,
you whose life is lived in servitude.
The agent of Nightmares I call to you!
You who have mastered the forces of this world.
Give unto me your knowledge!
Blackest heaven and whitest hell.
Coldest light and hottest dark.
Let this be a lesson unto all our foes,
that the impossible can be done!
Chaos Bolt!"
The mage in red slammed his hands together and fused the two spheres of light. They turned black and unleashed black lightning darker than voids. It absorbed the light that existed and gave unto nothing. It was chaos, it was oblivion. It was formless nothingness given form.
Red Mage let go of the power, and the black lightning arced onto the ground and tore a path to Adramelech. The ground it touches began to cave in, and life that once persevered through fire and ash died and became toxic.
The lightning continued it's rampage until it leapt from the earth and struck Adramelech in the chest.
