David felt a mish mash of emotions swell up at James's trap, but there was one thing that was certain in his mind.
"EVERYONE OUT! MOVE! RUN!" He shouted to everyone in the room, including the Drow he threatened less then a few minutes ago.
I'm going to get you for all this...no matter what... He thought as he ran though the halls of the Castle.

David stopped for a second as he saw Door disappear.
"....Door....."
He then recalled that he had 60 seconds to get the fuck out of there.
"COME ON PEOPLE, LETS MOVE!" He shouted behind him as he kept running to the courtyard.

[color=C20000]"Why do the mad ones always have to set up a self-destruct?"[/color] The drow continued to sprint like hellhounds were chasing her, and she could see the courtyard quickly approaching. However, there was only thirty seconds left: would she, the impulsive human, and the odd fox woman make it?

As the group fled from the Castle, David and the Drow made their way to the Jet in the LZ, Time was ticking down.
The Jet was beginning to take off as David climbed in the back of the Jet.
He turned and saw the Drow running towards him.
"COME ON! RUN! YOU CAN MAKE IT!" He shouted, but the jet was staring to take off,

As the jet began to take off, she did a rolling jump, barely managing to get a grip on the back hatch of the jet. Getting a grip was the more difficult thing to do, although she slowly got on and helped the fox woman, who was grabbing onto her leg.

[color=C20000]"Khyber, that was close."[/color] Safe on the jet, she stretched and took a small piece of jerky from a pouch at her side.

Once the Drow was on board with Akane (The Fox Woman), The jet sped off as did everyone else from the Castle.

A huge shockwave rocked the inside of the jet as James's bomb went off, laying to waste the surrounding area.
A tense silence filled the Jet's hull as David punched the wall in anger at falling for such an trick.
He then proceeded to take off his jacket and running top to remove the C4 Vest he was wearing.
".......I'm sorry for acting out earlier...." he said to the Drow as he disarmed the vest.

I was there.

As the jet was in the air, a man with lightning wings extending about 10 meters each flew by the side of the jet. Tomoya easily made contact with the jet's radio with his computer watch. "Well I knew that was going to happen. I searched the house and found no one, only the bomb that went off back there." Tomoya sighed as he increased his speed and was back to the Rising Dawn in seconds.

The rage he had has decreased now, in fact it had decreased over the years. It seemed that Ken didn't see Tomoya at least. Which gives the heroes an advantage over the crazy rich boy.

Returning to the ship, Tomoya quickly walked back to his room. Picking up two 6 packs of Pepsi Max whilst walking by the canteen. A sigh came from him as he looked outside. "Time to reset maybe? I'm going to have to check if I have permission." Tomoya spoke to himself in the room as he walked out quickly.

Coming to his room, Yu opened his room's door seeing Tomoya coming back. "What happened?" Yu asked in a concerned voice. "We were trying to bring the person who summoned these monsters to justice...but he wasn't there and set of a nuke. Sorry but I have to be alone for now." Tomoya said as he smiled and returned to his room but not before giving Yu one of the six packs of soda.

Returning to his room, Tomoya set down the soda and when into a meditation position. Whilst Yu returned to his room to have a bath for a change.

Achievement Unlocked: Save Fluffy Tails!

As Akane was hauled into the Spectre by the helpful young girl who seemed to have joined them, she let out a sigh of relief. She had no real way to outrun particular explosion.

"Thank you stranger. You helped me without asking any questions. If you ever need something, you have only but to ask and it will be done. Ara ara, where are my manners? My name is Tomoe Akane, Kitsune and resident Ace of the airship Rising Dawn."

No vacation for the trio? WAAAAAAAAAAAH~

Akane exited the Spectre only to be glomped by Gabs and then helped up by Aftan. She patted Gabs on the head as the young Knight kept a hold of one her tails before responding to Aftan.

"I put up with her because she looks so cute clutching my tail like that, and I love her. But no Vacation? Well, we can't go on a vacation without you, it wouldn't be the same! We'll come with you and help you in your duties if we can, and annoy you and drive you insane until you come with us if we can't help you! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Ton Ton shuffled shyly under the praise, as the experience was a first for him. After all, the Mistress was not aware of the task he undertook in her name. She tell him he was "Cute" which Ton Ton assumed to be a Good Thing, and based on Puce's tone, Ton Ton came to the understanding that what Puce told him was a Good Thing too. The Tonberry happily shook his lantern at that, and the promise to aid in finding the Mistress; "Thank you very much; Puce, Kurumu. I'll do everything in my power to help you as long as you aid in my search! It's only fair."

He then looked to the dragon and rider that Puce waved at with curiosity, and asked the Energy-User; "Friends of yours?"

The aforementioned trio were in high spirits, as their efforts had led to their victory in battle. Caim gave a complimentary nose rub to the dragon before she shifted back to her human form, and began to walk over to Puce and Kurumu. Caim pulled out the PDA and typed,

"As much of a good mood as I am in about the recent turn of events, I'm a little curious about what the Angel's mumbling about... Any ideas?"

Akane took all the info in and smiled.

"That sounds much like the courts of the Emperor back home. I want...Precisely none of that. And by the sounds of the child here, she wants none of it either! No, we'll accompany you and annoy you because we can. Sound good Gabs?"

She laughs lightly and grins. [color=c20000]"Well, you didn't look quick enough to get out of that blast, and I had a good feeling about you. Anyway, I'm Slindis, and I'm glad I could help you out."[/color]

Upon noticing the small succubus, Slindis becomes somewhat concerned and looks at Puce. [color=c20000]"You do know that most succubi I've met have fought me because of my line of work, right?"[/color] Her right hand moves to the pommel of one her rapiers.

It's starting off better this time, though.

Although still understandably wary, Slindis calmed down. [color=c20000]"I just needed to get that out in the open so there'd be no bad blood between us down the road. You can understand that, right?"[/color]

A small yawn escapes her lips as she keeps an eye on Kurumu. [color=c20000]"Phew, dimensional travel takes a lot of a girl."[/color] She removes her quiver and bow then places then at her side before leaning against the wall.

Hadrian, unknown to Puce and everyone else, removed himself from the the jet and made his way back to the canteen, seeing that he had no room for himself. He felt rather disappointed with how their little invasion went.

He walked in the canteen, going straight into the kitchen. He went through the pantry, looking for some bread, or something to snack on. Eventually, he found a fist small bun wrapped in some plastic. The text on the wrapping appeared to be written in Japanese. He sniffed it, and his eyes lit up, recognizing the different, but still similar smell. With a grin, he shut the pantry and took the bun with him to a table.

He tossed it from hand to hand, before tearing off the plastic and biting into it.

The flavor of the sweet bun wasn't as strong as the ones that he had purchased from the market in Egypt long ago, but he enjoyed it regardless.

[HEADING=2]The Summer of Monsters Arc Has Officially Ended![/HEADING]​

Thank you all for participating in my arc of epic proportions. Credit for giving more backstory to the monsters than I would have been capable of goes to [user]Disasterchild[/user] and [user]bluerocker[/user]. Even more credit goes to Disasterchild for essentially being GM while I slacked off on my GMing duties. If I had known ahead of time that this arc would last for 50+ pages I might have scaled back a bit but right now I'm glad it happened. See you guys in the next arc.

Slin's from a time where she was a bit smarter on the events leading to her banishment.

She slowly gets up and follows Kurumu to the sleeping quarters and collapses on an unoccupied bunk, still in her gear. Kurumu takes a closer look at the drow and realizes that the girl is likely fairly young, maybe the equivalent of a sixteen-year old human. In her sleep, her eyes dart around and her limbs twitch as if she were in a major fight.

The pact partners only gaped at Puce when he mentioned the possibility of forgotten memories, and then the duo felt a twinge of pain on their lower-backs. Even if the tail was not harmed anymore, the memory of the pain remained.

"How strange... What else could we have forgotten?"

It was then that Caim saw a flash of images, those of a war that had been long ago, and a death that nearly crippled him.

"Tiberius..."

Caim stood his ground, but Angelus could tell what the man had seen. In that flash, she saw her own death from the human's perspective. Her eyes widened, and she took a small step back; "Gods above!" she hissed.

Ton Ton only tilted his small head, recognizing their expressions as ones humans typically made after a bad nightmare.
"Are you two alright? You look like you had a bad dream..."

Angelus forced herself to nod quickly, and she patted the little creature on the head, "Never you mind, little one. I just... Stepped on something painful is all. Cadolbolg dear, are you alright? You look... Steely."

From one magical fire creature to another

Akane removed Gabs from her tail with a light smack to the back of the head as she nodded her head towards the dragon. Gabs nodded in return, understanding the Kitsune's intent. Akane walked over to Red and Caim, and bowed to the dragon before looking her dead in the eyes.

"Red, last night I offended you, and for that I am sorry. I will not blame the alcohol, I take full responsibility for my comments. A Dragon's pride is something I try not to attack, as it is usually rebuked with a long standing feud and fights. I only meant to joke yesterday. In saying this, do understand that your human form makes you look quite stunning. I used the term 'cute' as a word of endearment, not to mock nor insult you." Akane offered sincerely.
