Training room

Melethia grinned at all the arrows flying around. Perfect! She replaced the mace for a small potion bottle with some thin and very fragile glass, quaffing it. The girl began moving faster and fired more arrows before chucking the bottle at Kurumu, catching and throwing one of the daggers that smelled slightly of acid at the bottle right when it got in front of Kurumu's face.

She seemed to be enjoying herself immensely as the room became even more saturated, using her kukri to redirect some of the arrows that got too close to hitting her into the walls. "Having fun yet? You can't afford to fly around with all of this in the air!"

Training Room

She grunted from the kick and punch, then rolled through Ku when she saw that an arrow was going to go through her before swapping for the light mace again and generated a bright flash again. The Phantasms were stunned for a small moment, enough for her to draw a second light mace that looked like the first one. When the both were out, they began to generate an eerie scream as she used them to parry away the real arrows, having began to pick up on the slight differences between the real ones and the illusions. Although the phantasms could phase through the maces, they could still hear that irritating screech which was grating to everyone but the girl.

"Fine, I'll play with bashy things!" Her cheeky retort was punctuated by the dagger grazing Kurumu's cheek before it richocheted again. Let's see them go for the belt... Ooh, it's a good thing it's directed outwards.

Richardson looked over to Puce. "Well the thing is, we're assisting you. Its obvious that you're going to want to be the ones to stop him, and your group has abilities that are well, lets just say, advanced of our own. Yet you and I know that attacking that army with that ship by itself would be suicide."

He glanced at the Rising Dawn "While she's a fine ship, I doubt she'd last by herself against all of what that emo git has. "

Dark Tomoya.
Location: New Tomoya York City. US, AA universe.
Time: 2:15. Red clouds.
Empire State Building viewing platform.

Dark Tomoya puffed on a smoke and threw it into the wind which directed the cigarette down to the almost streets. The only people who would be on the surface are Tomoya's army, dead bodies, crazy people and criminals. Some of the criminals cheered for the angels but they would be shot down as well. Drinking another coke and throwing it away seems frequent to Tomoya. The only thing he wanted to do was kill people but he had to direct his army too.

"Ahh, we're running out of people to kill... we may have to move to another city." Tomoya said as he looked behind to see the giant nuke being set into place. "Be careful with that damn it... if you guys screw this up I will cut your limbs off and beat you to death with them!" Tomoya yelled at them once more.

The Omega squad had already unloaded onto the viewing platform making it a ground base. Officers were giving orders via spells, technology and etc, and scientists were helping fix the bomb in place so it will be ready when they leave to go back to the main fleet. "When is this going to be ov-" Tomoya was saying whilst looking of the viewing platform but was suddenly interrupted. "Lord, we received reports that most survivors fled undergrou-" The officer was saying loudly but was cut off by two red eyes locked onto him. The man looked like a deer caught in head lights...of a tank. "Did you interrupt me... I think you know too well what happen to people that interrupt me!" Tomoya said as his darkness powers took hold of the man.

"Take this." Tomoya said and gave a grenade to the officer. He looked afraid for his life but couldn't help obeying the evil mental commands which emitted from Tomoya's eyes. The officer jumped on top of the fence surrounding the viewing platform, pulled the pin, stuffed it into his mouth and walked off. A few seconds later the man blew up and his blood splattered the building and his body parts rained upon the street. "Huh...would you look at that. It IS raining men." Tomoya started to laugh at the officer's grim demise.

"Send a couple of groups in the subway... hmm... heh... heh... so that's what they are doing." Tomoya smirked as his eyes came back to life as he gazed over the building but to see only loads of human survivors in small cages dangling all over the building. Cutting one rope connecting the cage to the building, Tomoya could only hear a falling scream before nothing. "... whoops." Tomoya said as the other prisoners screamed. "Clean up on isle 3!" He called back to the officers behind him. A soldier or two left the viewing platform to collect photos of the body so Tomoya could rank the splatter. "Hmm... this might actually be a ten..." Tomoya said calmly, he was getting bored with this toy of a city.

"Oh how I love life now!" He laughed once more as a couple of frigate reinforcements came in.

"Ummmm... let's blame this on someone else... and get outta here quick."
Melethia panted after getting out of there. "Okay, Miss. You were pretty good in there, and it was certainly fun. What's your name?" She walked alongside Kurumu, pulling out a wand to patch up the cuts and bruises they had taken in the fight along the way. One thing was clear to both combatants - neither one was a slouch.

She casually juggled a dagger as they walked out to the canteen, and they could see Slindis and Tajuh checking the supercarrier they had joined up with. "So, next time, no infinite bounceback? You know, even if it was a good test of reflexes." Melethia went into one of the pouches and replenished her arrow supply, and Kurumu could see that some temporal warping was happening with the quiver - there was countless arrows in it, bit she could easily put the number at over 1000.

Shortly after, she shook Kurumu's hand. "I'm not really sure if I told you this earlier, but I'm Melethia. My mom's Slindis, and she's really strong. Do you know her?"

"So where have you been all this time. Slin... Your mom doesn't seem like the stay at home mom type and so she must have kept you somewhere... wait... she didn't hire pirates as babysitters did she?
Melethia pulled two more bottles of that liquid she had consumed during the fight and tossed one over to Kurumu. 'It's some lemonade, if you want it." The girl quickly drank it before putting it to theside.

"Well, if you wanna know where I've been, I was on the Banshee with Mister Cage after... well, some stuff happened back home and I can't really go back. Mom tried to keep me holed up at the League HQ while she was constantly gone, but after a while of practicing, the locks were nothing. I even went and redid their mechanical traps for them since they were so out of date." She quickly buried that nasty little memory before continuing.

"The whole pirate thing came after I helped Mister Cage's crew when they were taken by another ship. Who knew keeping your tar barrels next to your gunpowder would cause such an explosion? That jerk Yaaryar was also dumb enough to only have token forces guarding each crew member. Hehe, when Mister Cage found out I was the one that saved his crew, it was so funny! I think there are still a few kobolds in his mouth. He took me to the Cove, and I found lots - open space, lotsa swimming, there was even a room where it was all a huge puzzle, and the person inside said there were trapped tiles on there! Oh, that one was really fun." She remembers how fun it was to find out how that puzzle worked and smiles.

"The rest of the Cove liked me after I cleared out one of the main coves in there. It was the Black Loch, and there were undead pirates there! Getting that area cleared out got me lotsa respect there. It even got those stuffy Deneith guys to hire me for some work! They were boring, but I think all sentinels and guards are like that."

If Kurumu hadn't seen the girl fighting in that now demolished Training Room, she would think the girl was just making up tales. Seeing the way she quickly turned around what was supposed to help Kurumu in there and thought up new techniques during the fight added some backing to the girl's story.

Dead serious, the quest I'm talking about has a pirate called Yaaryar. [http://ddowiki.com/page/Yaaryar]
She shrugged. "Well, she wasn't around enough to say anything at the start, and by the time she could say something, I had been at it for so long that she just shrugged. Mister Firebrand let her know as much, and from what my auntie Panthyer told me, she knew what I was doing the whole time. She was mad that I was out because... but anyway, she was also impressed with me, specially after my final job with those Deneith guys!"

She pulls a wax-stamped letter with the mark of a chimera for the seal and on the letterhead, and the contents of the letter are written very cleanly. It states, Melethia, your presence is requested at the Sentinels Tower by sunset to eradicate the presence of the Blood Tide pirates from Xen'Drik. Compensation will not be meager, and your renovations of our mechanical defenses shall be included as well in the package. -Captain Greigur d'Deneith, Head of Deneith's Stormreach Sentinels

"Yeah, the ward placements already there made it a bit difficult to get to the second floor, but I got to blow up an airship that night! Panthy told me that blowing up that ship helped Mom somehow, although she never did say how." Melethia pulled out a few blood-red potions, rubbing them over the skin to patch up the last of the cuts.

Kurumu looked the letter over, and it all clearly checked out from where she was standing. Despite checks for any kind of illusions, it held up perfectly.

Unreal World : Darren : Forget what I said about Darren being Inactive.
After his staredown with Caim, Darren slipped off in embarrassment after pissing himself in front of everyone.
Still, He did get a buzz out of standing up to a man that wouldn't bat a eyelid to killing him.
But after all that, he just wanted some peace and quiet in his new room (Really just one of the rooms that wasn't already taken).
So he washed himself off and fell face first into the bed, ready to get some proper sleep for once.

AA : David West
After several close calls, David soon lead his group (Elena, Shadow, Charile, Kud and Riki) into the remains of the New York Subway systems.
Once the group was underground, he quickly checked the Rail Map for the fastest way out of here.
"Okay we are....Somewhere....And we need to go to......I can't fucking read this..." He groaned as he gently laid Jenny against the wall as he tried to make out the map.
It was then he finally noticed the pair from the Clinic (Kud and Riki)
"By the way, Thanks for the assist back there. You two got names?" He asked without taking his eyes off the map.

Ship, hall by the Training room

Wanting to check on Melethia, Slindis walked inside while Tajuh was checking on the now-ruined training room. She accidentally bumped into Heidern at the intersection. "Excuse me, but you do realize that we're about to head into combat. So why are you still on board and moving around? You really ought to hide up in one of the rooms if you're not good at combat."

A hole tore open the New York skyline as a black aircraft crashed through. It plummeted into the ground into the subway where it landed before the group. Flames licked at the old walls and fire crackled, forcing the 6 to step back.

Inside the same subway, a planar portal opened and out stepped Ba'erth Ne'kattolathis. He looked around at the scene before him.

A shadowy figure crawled out from the wreckage and turned its attention on them.

Time to sow the seed of discourse.
"Oh, Slindis...Hi...Ummmm...I Was going to leave the Airship...But...Ummmm...You know what, forget it, I need to find someplace to hide!" He said, playing the part of a nervous man rather well.
Keen to find out what was troubling him, Slindis replied "What is it? Did something happen?"
"...Just...I-i-i remember know his name, only that he was with that Preacher. They-they-...near actually threw me out of the hanger, I-i-Don't know what I did, Preacher just seemed to just want to do it for FUN. He said something about If I did something to hurt you or Mele..He'd...Just...I'm sorry, I-i-i-should just go...Christ, I never dreamed so much wrong in the world would happen on one day!"
Then Tajuh walked out of the training room.
"Oh my god, that-that was him! Him there!" He said, pointing to Tajuh, actually somewhat cowering a little.
.....This is conduct befitting a man of my power...

You are the Demons
The sudden appearance of the Ba'erth did not go un-noticed to David who instantly opened fire on the Demon(?).
"Come on Asshole! I'm having a bad day! Let's Go!" He taunted as he unloaded his M500 on the creature, hitting several times in the chest before he hugged the wall to reload.
"You got 3 seconds to fuck off and tell Tomoya I've had it up to here with this Bullshit. Even before he started blowing the city up!" He warned as he switched to Blast Rounds, unsure of what his bullets would do to that....Thing.

Slindis shook her head. "Heidern, pull yourself together. You look pitiful there, and I'll have more than a few words with him later. I'd look into it more, but as you know, I've got a lot more going on right now. As for the Preacher, contact me or my daughter. If he opens hostilities again, either of us can quickly squelch that." The one in her voice let Rugal know that what had happened wasn't on her top five priorities.

Rugal saw Tajuh cock an eyebrow before a look of understanding crossed hid face, and he gave him a glance that told Rugal he was clearly on to him. However, it seemed what the man said was true - he likely wasn't going to move to attack Rugal unless he moved to harm either Melethia or Slindis.

The rounds bounced off Hawk's body, and he laughed.

"You think you can stop me with that? Burn."

He raised a hand at David who was suddenly overcome with pain. He fell to the ground screaming in agony. Hawk just smiled.

Give it some time, those two will be at each other's necks.
"Okay...Just...Sorry, nearly dying so much over the past few hours hasn't done my nerves any favours. The Best of Luck in your Battle. And try not to die!" He said before he resumed his search for a safe haven.
Once of view, he broke Character and smirked, In the middle of a battle, quite a few things could go wrong, all he had to do was sit back and watch his mortal enemy kill off all his possible rivals.

"GRRRAAHHHHH!" David shouted as pain flowed though his being, like burning but in his blood rather then on his body.
"Fuck....You..." He groaned as he tried to aim at him, but the pain make his hand shake far too much for any precise shooting.
Then an idea: David fired up at the roof between him and the Demon, exploding rounds making short work of the already weakened tunnel, causing a minor cave in with Ba'erth on one side and him on the other.
Didn't do much for the pain though as he trashed around wildly.

While Ba'erth was being attacked by David, Hawk (Who is the bad guy crap dammit read my earlier posts) snuck up behind him.

"Now that that planeswalker is gone, how about we have a little fun with each other?"

David looked behind him. Oh, no! He had the wrong guy!

He was now separated from the only man who knew how to deal with this monster?

?Or was he?

Shadow climbed out of the wreckage, blood pouring down his face.

"Hey, freak," he mocked. "This is for Bravo, Alpha and tailgate. He reached into his pocket?

?and a look of horror came over his face. He was out of Mark 3s. The beast smiled.

"The fun has been doubled."

As Rugal broke away, a note appeared floating in the air addressed directly to Rugal Bernstein. He quickly snatched the note out of the air and read it.

Do your warmongering and divisiveness at another time, Rugal Bernstein. The situation is already tenuous enough as-is without you trying to divide the three, and your petty grasps for power could only result in your plane's death.
Meanwhile, Slindis and Tajuh talked as they made their way back to the Canteen, talking loudly enough that Rugal could barely hear it.

"Explain it, and make it brief."

"That man's a damn fine actor. You know as well as I do that hiking and normal working out do not produce that body. Take care around him. The discussion went out of hand when the preacher went far beyond what I expected."

"Do tell, what was it that you expected to happen?"

"Nowhere in my mind did I expect that we were going to be threatening his life. I don't expect you to absolve me. I only expect you to be ready to combat the Fallen Archangel."

"If it turns out that you harmed him, Tajuh..."

"That man's got a far stronger backbone, and it takes a extremely strong man to appear that weak. I'll talk of it more, but it's neither the time nor the place."

Sorry, though the demon was the one that put David into the Pain Trail, seeing how he fucking came out of no-where and started fucking shit up.
Also, not much to post /:
David's mind was lost to whatever that Thing did to him, it was like being lit on fire and tazed at the same time and as a result, wasn't a state to do much.

Rising Dawn
Rugal quickly read though the note, amazed at how many people knew who he really was.
I never did like this Magic types...Too un-predicable... He thought as he destroyed the note and all traces of his name on it.
Though if he really did care about this realm, Then this note went to the wrong man... He smirked as he gazed out towards the airship fleet, counting the Pounds that set Britain back and how much they'd pay for new ones.
It was then he heard the pair talking nearby.
Awww...She really does care... He thought as he walked towards his room, hearing that provided good protection in such times.
