The Escapist Avatar Adventure: An Open RP (Now Re-Opened!)

Caim helped Teri down from Angelus' back; and the dragon trumpted out; "Where are the main concentration of the forces, Slindis? Caim, and myself are willing to make ourselves as useful as possible. Ton Ton, go with the writer and aid in the foot forces!"

Ton Ton did not need aid from anyone to dismount Angelus, and quickly followed after his Writer with his knife and lantern at ready.
"No problem! Don't worry, Ms. Teri and Ms. Slindis! I know my way around my knife!"

Teri, on the other hand, wrote;

"Hi Slindis! The little green guy's with me!"

"From here, it looks like they're retreating. In case there's any forces that landed on board, I'll skewer them. My daughter's inside, so try to keep an eye out for her. Her companions rubbed off on her, but she's got a good heart." As she led the two on board, there were small signs of wires across the main walking areas at around calf-high level.

[color=c20000]"Teri, I need you to be very careful while we're moving through here. Melethia has a unique way of ensuring an area's safe."[/color]

Meanwhile, when Melethia was setting yet another trap around a corner, she was seized by three of the SOU members. One gagged her mouth with a rag, one wrenched her arms behind her back and used zipcuffs to restrain them at the wrists and elbows, and the third did the same for her legs at the knees and ankles.

Back where Rugal was, he could faintly hear an unknown voice harshly whispering "You so much as move, your brains cover the walls."

The dragon nodded, and decided to fly patrol around the ship; and started scorching some of the bolder Angels that clung to the airship.

As they departed, Teri waved goodbye and scribbled,

"You have a daughter? Huh. Anyway, there's a good reason I keep Ton Ton around; he's sort of a body-guard for me now."

She felt a tug on her pants leg, and Ton Ton spoke up; "Be that as it may; I think it would be a bit more important to know about these security protocals you mentioned Ms. Slindis. What's so dangerous about them?"

Rugal was in the middle of scouting the area when he heard a gun cock just behind his head and the threat from the SOU Goon.
.....Heckler & Koch UMP, the off-spring of the famous MP5 Sub-machine gun, these guys have money
It was then he was in conflict, to remain in character and in disguise or to strike out against the SOU.
While he was certain he could take them on, it was the crew he was worried about.
Still, they did just try to kill him.
"....Do you know who I am?..."
"Can it, shitbird!" the SOU soldier said before he attempted to knock Rugal out.
Then the King of Fighters lived up to his namesake, using his slashing aura to cleanly cut the man's head from his body, leaving a spray of blood flowing from his neck.
"Rugal Vs. Armed Men.
Round 1
Fight."

And thus he set off after the remaining men.

However, with the news she brought, I don't have a home any more. At least, not there."[/color] Teri can somewhat feel the sadness in her voice as she finished that statement before she knelt down to Ton-Ton's level.

[color=c20000]"Considering our enemy, she made these traps to kill. Acid burns, Potassium and water fires, Flashbangs and electricity. You name it, she's set it up. She even set the traps up for out home. She really did pick up a lot from Niles Cage and the rest of his men, I think. I know I certainly didn't teach her any of that."[/color]

Rose's eyes flickered open. She felt the cold surface beneath her and shuddered. She slowly struggled to her feet and nearly collapsed again. She gripped a nearby pole for several seconds until she was ready. She examined her surroundings and whimpered. She was in a dimly lit room filled with machines and flashing lights. It vaguely resembled a control room. She shivered at the freezing cold and ran to the door. She gripped the handle but it was locked. She began screaming.

"Rugal Vs. Armed Men.
Round 1
Fight."

And thus he set off after the remaining men.

One of the remaining men called out to his partner, "I'm taking her back to HQ, she's got some Extradimensional Storage!" as he ran off with the writhing Melethia.

The other one threw a flashbang at Rugal before opening fire on the man. No matter what he was, the man couldn't survive a full clip of 9 mm ammo point-blank.

Hello, and welcome to Avatar Adventures; home of crazy plots; writers with a long standing sense of continuity and Chilli dogs! It's where we talk to keep all of Out of Character stuff (OOC) out from cluttering the RP. There, you can mingle with fellow members and ask questions about stuff that's happened.

Anyway; it'd also be nice if you made a character sheet (we have a template on the main page of the group), and posted it in the group chat. That way everyone has free warning to your characters powers (and to prevent anyone from pulling anything out of their bums).

If you need any help about what's going on; feel free to ask anyone in the chat! Most of the time, at least one person is on at a time.

Rugal paused as he saw the flashbang land in the corner of his eye before doubling back to the corner of the hallway to avoid the flash, but not the bang.
Basic One-Two, would work on most. Most He thought as he focused and brought up his Dark Barrier on his forearm.

Once it was up, he charged towards the shooter, his shield protecting him from his gun fire.
When he was in range, He dropped the barrier and flat out impaled his hands into the man's mid-section before throwing him aside.
"Extradimensional Storage?...Crap, Melethia!" He said to himself as he raced after the SOU.

Teri frowned at the mention of Lucifer but scribbled;

"Understood. Ton Ton, keep that lantern and Knife ready..."

The Tonberry flexed both implements for a moment, then hurried after the duo. "So, where are we headed, Slindis? Do we have to fight anyone on the way there?"

"Now Gentlemen, can't we solve this without such aggression?"

The Preacher entered, sword in hand. A glint could be seen in his glasses as he observed the fight between Rugal and the SOU.

"I'd hate to be forced to inflict unnecessary pain." He began to slowly approach, noting the attacks of both sides.

"Now Gentlemen, can't we solve this without such aggression?"

The Preacher entered, sword in hand. A glint could be seen in his glasses as he observed the fight between Rugal and the SOU.

"I'd hate to be forced to inflict unnecessary pain." He began to slowly approach, noting the attacks of both sides.

The SOU man searched for a way off the ship. Thanks to that man of god, he was going to get out of here with a fat promotion! "Just getting out of here, Father. If you'd just hold off that brute for a moment, I'll be out of your hair." The Preacher and Rugal could both see the young girl desperately thrashing around to get out the man's grasp, and he was getting very close to a window.

"Move it, they have Melethia! Come on!" He shouted as he followed the fleeing SOU Soldier.
I swear if he picks now to be a snitch... He thought as he checked to see who Preacher was aiming at.

Teri frowned at the mention of Lucifer but scribbled;

"Understood. Ton Ton, keep that lantern and Knife ready..."

The Tonberry flexed both implements for a moment, then hurried after the duo. "So, where are we headed, Slindis? Do we have to fight anyone on the way there?"

[color=c20000]"I was going to take you over to my room for now, since it's so dangerous. Melethia's probably set up defenses there, but I don't think there will be combat.[/color]

"Just getting out of here, Father. If you'd just hold off that brute for a moment, I'll be out of your hair."

"Oh how cute. You think you can kidnap a girl without my intervention!" It was almost endearing, the cartoonish manner in which the kidnapper conducted himself. The Preacher raised his blade, the room began to slowly darken while his blade glowed. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men." Lightning began to erupt from the hilt of the sword and envelop the blade. "Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children." He raised the blade, to the two this looked insane, swinging a sword at range? Yet Rugal could predict what he had up his sleeve.


"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers! And you will KNOW my name is THE LORD when I lay my VENGEANCE UPON THEE!" The Preacher struck down wih the sword, the strike letting out a tremendous boom.

Hallowed Bolt

A giant blade blasted out of the ground, yet doing nothing to the environment of the ship. Crackling with Holy Lightning, it hit the man himself with the force of plane crash, and did no damage to Melethia. It seeped back into the ground.

Rugal watched as the Preacher flat out murdered the kidnapper right in front of his eyes, saving Melethia without Rugal getting his hands too dirty.
....did he just quote Pulp Fiction? He thought as he ran over to free Melethia.
"Melethia, Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He said as he tore open the Zip Ties bounding her.
"I...Thank you, Preacher...just....After what happened in the hanger...." He then said, feigning nervousness in his presence.

Melethia struggled to get up, rubbing her wrists. "Thank you, Wheathair and Silverblade! That was way close for me." The two could tell the girl did not like being taken captive even more than one would usually fear it.

[color=c20000]"I was going to take you over to my room for now, since it's so dangerous. Melethia's probably set up defenses there, but I don't think there will be combat.[/color]

Teri gave another nod, and scribbled,

"Okay. Now lemme tell you, I can poof in supplies if they are needed. Once we get to this room; let me know if there is anything I can do to help out with the effort. That's the reason I came here after all."

The Tonberry, on the other hand, looked a tad bit disappointed at not being able to aid in the war effort; but continued along the path with the duo.

Slindis straightened up when she heard that ability. [color=c20000]"This may sound crazy, but do you happen to go by the moniker bluerocker? If so, there's someone I'd like to ask you about if it's no issue."[/color] The paladin eventually got to her room and opened the door, revealing rather spartan living conditions. She offered her bed to Teri as she closed the door and pulled up a chair, turning to the door for any possible intruders.

Slindis straightened up when she heard that ability. [color=c20000]"This may sound crazy, but do you happen to go by the moniker bluerocker? If so, there's someone I'd like to ask you about if it's no issue."[/color] The paladin eventually got to her room and opened the door, revealing rather spartan living conditions. She offered her bed to Teri as she closed the door and pulled up a chair, turning to the door for any possible intruders.

Teri sat on the bed with a silent *oof*, and Ton Ton joined her, looking exceptionally small next to the Writer. Teri wrote on the tablet;

"You are correct. My name is Teri; but my handle is bluerocker. What is the matter? If it is something me an my friends Wrote... Let me tell you now; we are sorry for the things that has happened to the people we've Wrote about..."

Slindis took a few deep breaths then methodically said in an even tone, [color=c20000]"Teri, I don't know what happened with the ones you wrote about, but what happened to Eberron and all of its inhabitants is not something that can be written off by a offhanded sorry. He may say that he is, but that is of no solace to the hundreds of millions of humanoids that perished. Do not mistake this as any grudge towards you, though: I will be right here should anyone attempt to harm you. After all, you seem to respect the sanctity of life."[/color]
