The soldiers began a tactical retreat into the temple itself. When they were in the corridors, the groups of soldiers would get into four groups of six and evenly space themselves out. In each group three soldiers would kneel down in front while three others stood behind them, creating a wall of gunfire. The leader stood at the back of the groups with a rail gun he had found.

Blade Peered into the opening of the temple before darting his head back after a large barrage of bullets.
Pulling out a Frag Grenade, He flung it down the hall and hoped for the best.

There was the sound of boosting jets in the air, above the gunfire echoing through the corridors. The group held their fire to see where the noise was comming from. All of them looked up and to their left to find something smashing through the wall. there was another roar and the left rear man was crushed underneath the thing. 3 of them began to fall back, the other two opened up on the thing and heard the sound of metal dings.

The roar of a chainsaw was heard of the low jet sound and those two were cut up. The smoke cleared and a femme fatal, in daniel's power armor was left standing, covered in blood and gore while holding the chaintana and bolter pistol. "Now that i managed to suppress that pussy and got him to make me the armor, its time for the big girl to come out and play." she said and the other three began to fire at her.

She dashed to part of the collapsed wall with the aid of the jetpack and took cover as the bullets began to hit ground and it.

The one of the three soldiers saw and immediately threw at whatever had come through the wall. The three soldiers then retreated to the front of the second group and went prone. A couple soldiers of the second loaded 40mm grenades into the grenade launchers attached to their guns.

Seeing that his last Grenade was a dud, Blade was going to throw another until Whoever that was in Daniel's Armour bust in.
Taking advantage of her drawing fire, He dashed in after the remain soldiers with the Launchers, Disarming and disabling them before climbing up on the roof like a Gecko.

The group kept firing at whatever they could and one eventually landed a hit on the weird animal thing, causing it to retreat. The last group began preparing their own grenade launchers in case the second group got killed.

Angelus landed after the troops ran inside, and called Caim to her. He came, already getting the hint of her intentions, and opened the bag, pulling out the mask and Angelus' clothes. A moment later, after she had changed and became human once more, the pact partners ran to the temple, fire and iron ready to strike any before them.

Blade wavedashed back to the temple enterance holding his right arm, fresh after taking a bullet to his Bicep.
He sat on one of the outer walls and tried to use his face-mask as a bandage.

Jenny, Tomoya and Tao soon made their way up the other stairs also.
"Oh no, Blade!" Jenny said as she saw his arm bleeding and ran over to help.
"Blade, are you alright? can you hear me?" She fussed as if it was life treating wound while helping him to bandage it.
"I'm Fine, just...wasn't fast enough...[sub]ow[/sub]" he joked in return.

After the creature left, they saw a man and a woman had begun charging them. The soldiers began focusing their fire on them.

Diablo and I collaborated on this little number here.

On their way to the temple, Angelus and Caim saw a familiar green and white humanoid, who waved a hand over the duo. They weren't exactly sure what she was doing, but if was aid of some kind, the pact partners appreciated it.

As they entered the temple, Angelus ran in front of Caim, collected fire in her palms and took a deep breath. With an inhuman roar, the woman threw both of the fireballs in her palms and let forth a stream of fire from her mouth. It hit the soldiers without any problems, but the bullets were still coming, and red hot. Thankfully, Jenny's Reflect helped block the pesky projectiles, and Caim was free to go ahead of the dragon-turned-human and cut into any who were left standing.

Once Caim and Angelus entered the temple, Blade saw Jenny close her eyes and focus.
After cries of burning guards and shots being fired, She quickly opened them and took a few breaths, Barriers are hard to do.
"Think that was last of them, come on..." she said as she helped Blade up before he took point and checked the way ahead, grabbing a pistol from one of the downed guards.

Sorry for not being here yesterday guys, but I have other stuff that I do on my weekends. Figured I'd kick off the fight though, hehehehe. Akane seems to be a sorta sneaky kinda gal, making others do the main work...

Whilst the main fight erupted around the temple entrance, Akane snuck around the side. Spotting a nest of snipers, she once more realised that she had no means of communications with the others. It didn't matter though, as the uptight Knight teleported there and took the snipers out with a small fight. Akane dashed across the open and into cover, climbing a small set of steps and entering the temple through a small side entrance. She drew her katana and advanced cautiously.

After several minutes of sneaking, Akane came across a small corridor, seemingly the main one into the heart of the temple. She knelt down, and pulled out a small mirror from a pouch inside her kimono. She used it to look both ways down the corridor. To her left she could see a group of 6 soldiers and the Heroes past them, and to her right another several groups of the enemy. She was careful to move the mirror slowly, as not to make it flash and give her position away. Putting her mirror away, Akane stood up and readied herself for her next move. A big flashy distraction would be something rather useful right now she decided, rather than a flaming charge.

She waited for the heroes to advance just a little further...

As the heroes walked down corridor, two 40mm grenades exploded on the surface of the barrier, causing it to fail. The heroes were then greeted with a wall of gunfire as the soldiers fired on them.

Hearing rather than seeing the grenades and gunfire roar down the hallway, Akane knew the time was now or never. She sent a wall of flame out of her side corridor, sheathing the main hallway in bright orange fire. She stepped out into it, unhurt as only a Kitsune could be by her own fire. The wall of flame ended, and Akane stood before most of the baddies, her tails swishing alluringly.

"Hello boys... Would anyone be able to help me brush all these fluffy tails? I can't reach them all..." She said in her most sultry and alluring voice.

Inwardly, Akane grinned. Men will always be, but only Men.

 

[Moros]

The leader saw the men in front of him stop shooting and started getting angry. Whatever it was that he couldn't see, it had actually made his men stop fighting. He brought up his railgun and turned it on. It hummed to life as the electricity began to build up. After a short wait a light came on to signal that it was ready. Looking down the scope the leader couldn't get a good visual on target, so he did something drastic. Taking an estimated guess, he fired at where he thought the target was. The large metal rod that served as the projectile left the barrel with a quiet woosh and whistled through the air where it met its first obstacle. The projectile was moving at such high speed that when it hit the punched through soldier in the middle, it hardly lost any speed. The projectile kept whistling through the air before it connected with Akanes' shoulder.

The fast moving rod met Akane's shoulder and passed through it, leaving a clean hole in its place.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Akane shrieked in pain at the wound, falling over clutching her left shoulder. Blood begane to pour from the wound as she tried desperately to close it. Pain coursed through her arm as she put a finger to the hole and seared it with a burst of flame, stopping the bleeding but nearly causing her to black out in pain. The soldiers watched Akane fall, the beauty before them struck down. Akane looked up, pain across her pretty face and she raised her right hand, still holding her sword.

"Find who shot me and kill him!" She wailed, putting all her feminine wiles into it.
Getting shot was not a part of the plan, but I may as well roll with it... she thought.
Akane struggled to her feet, her tails aflame in anger.

The reason I haven't been doing anything is because I don't really understand what's going on. Am I on the back of a dragon or in an airship? Seriously, I'm too confused to make sense of it. Honestly, Uro's probably just went off to explore whatever she's on, so I can just write her back in.

The girl in the power armor was moving down the hall and saw Akane get shot then somehow managed to sustain consciousness. "Need any help dealing with the asshole who shot you?" she asked, slowing down before the corner. "I can him if you can cause a distraction." she said.

Even before the soldiers slowly turned around, the platoon leader had already loaded another metal rod and battery. When the men finally turned to him, the railgun had finished charging. He trained the sights on one of his men and fired. Before any of the men could blink the projectile went through two of their heads and embedded itself in the temple wall. Knowing that he didn't time to reload, he threw the now useless gun at the soldiers and drew his pistol and began shooting.
