No worries and you really should read the manga as naruto is a totally different character now as he has gone through a shit load of character development. In all of shippuden he has only used sexy jutsu three time each with 100's of chapters separating their uses, there are no more toilet humor jokes and naruto actually cries alot more and is forced to face the reality that you can't always win while still maintaining his happy attitude [after a number of chapter were he is broken] and uses tactics,Sakura has major fight scenes and Sasuke goes through three massive personality changes as various truths are revealed!
In the recent chapter those character are receiving entire chapter to them in fact in shippuden Shikamaru team had an entire arc dedicated to just them with naruto only appearing in a few panels!deathbydeath said:So? And there is maturity as many of the character have now grown up becoming adults who accept the harsh reality of life in fact some people complain that shippuden has become to mature as the jokes are now much smaller!
As for tsunade [or is it hinata?] that your referring to does having big breasts instantly discredit a character, does having curves me that the character is just fanservice NO!!. Woman in the real world have big breast's some have smaller this is reflected in the various character in the series one should not be discredited because of their looks, both Tsunade and Hinata have changed and evolved with massive events effecting each deeply [friends and close ones dying]!
Spend a weekend reading up to the current chapter [don't stop just because you reach a part you do not like] and you will understand ^_^

Naruto (rightly) lost my attention a few years ago, and given the rate it comes out, I'd prefer not to wade through the mountains of convoluted exposition and piss-annoying fanbase in order to "give it a shot", especially not when my time is scarce enough anyway. Well I don't have a social life so yeah I just sat down and read non-stop for hour's with out break/skiming at part that were bogging me down.
