i liked it, and the camera quality was excellent, but a web series about game characters coming into the real world to quite possibly wreak havoc? didnt that kind of thing win last year?...

Well it's good to see that the grand winner was actually something good that I'm looking forward to seeing on the Escapist. I watched a few of the entries and then stopped because they were not very good.

yeah that was pretty much the only thing that made me step away from this video
(a pacing problem is nothing new to pilot episodes)
but anyway, the whole idea is still interesting enough to be something to watch maybe =]

I'm pretty sure they didn't do that because they were parodying RPG'S on how you just can't turn off the Xbox, only get frustrated with the game.

(Just so no one says this yes it is the same with FPS)

to be fair, im guessing there isnt that much you can do that hasnt been done already

I feel like this has been done with Doomsday Arcade, but limiting it to a specific genre, and a generic game. The quality rocked my socks and the comedy is not as off the wall crazy as Doomsday, but I liked Doomsday's pilot better from last year
