BETA

Ever have your slacker friend upload your unfinished video game on to the Internet for the whole world to play? Well, then you know what amateur programmers Tom (Justin Dmitruk) and Ray (Reese Eveneshen) are going through. Hooray, it's up! We hope everyone enjoys it. For the record, I do the voiceover for the news anchor.

Quite good though the only gripe I have was I didn't see much of a plot direction... though that could work out interestingly.

It did have its fair share of funny moments. Good luck!

I am surprised that this video didn't make the first cut. I would definitely like to see what direction you guys would go with this series.

Well thanks, but I guess we just didn't do as good of a job as we thought we did. I really like the other videos on the contest a lot so I don't feel so bad about being on the second page. However, I do have a bunch of jotted down notes and ideas and some concept visuals of what is to come next. So, around Friday I might post what episode two would be like.

I must say, this was a well made video. The audio was a bit echo-y, but otherwise good. I'm just wondering where you go from here. It seems like the story's over.

I'll look forward to new episodes if they come, though.

Well, the audio was reduced to our on camera microphone. Our proper mic equipment broke down shortly before the shoot date.

As for the story it is far from over.

The game is a hit, and the guys now have a large cash grab. The future episodes will deal with the quick structure of a new game studio. With the three guys thrust into game development, they now must start a sequel. But along the way they must deal with competing indi game studios, publishers, their accountant, Murray's ex psycho girlfriend, the ghost of Napoleon, and a host of other trials and tribulations. However, before all that happens they first must kick the crap out of Murray for releasing an unfinished game unto the masses.

(Also, we aim to create longer episodes rather then short 3/4 minute eps. We are aiming for broadcast length episodes.)

Sucks about the microphones.

I do think that this would be good for longer episodes, but I guess what I'm really wondering is whether this will have a definite ending (Doomsday Arcade) or be more episodic. (Doraleous) Either way, I'd like to see more.

Well, we think having 15 minute episodes would be good. Also, we have a first season worked out and ready to go. We want it to be a show that has a narrative and plot, but not something that feels like it has some incoming series ending at the end of the season.
