Dear Sir\Madam

I'm interested. You are seriously cruel to only give this much for a preview.
As you know, the sound has bugged me. But, that did'nt stop me from watching\fast forwarding or even stopping the video.

Thanks for entertaining me and best of luck. You have my vote.

Regards
Migs

P.S.
The only REAL thing I disliked is the Opening Credits that you show at the end of the video. Personally, I prefer it to be scrapped and made anew with much CLEARER images of the actors and not be ENGULFED in filters and overlapping images making them hard to SEE.

That's a good note, Migs. We probably did get a little effects happy and should have spent a little more effort giving you our faces at the end. If we get to take this to series, we'll use that note.

Theres always one that just outclasses everyone else every year. You, my good sir, are it.

I am, of course, talking about your bus-driving skills...

Excludos, you burn me. My vengeance will be swift and terrible. Thanks for the kind words, dude.

Really appreciate the praise, Bucket. We're really hoping for a chance to tell this story with some quality action and humor. The people we have lined up to appear in the series will only bring up the acting quality, meaning they're all better than me :)

Very nice, but I'm wondering how long this would last. Will we go past the trial?

Still, this is one that I would very much like to see more of.

Good question Randommaster. I can't tell you a lot without spoiling the twist at the end but we absolutely have built in the possibility of a second season.

Um wow! I think that was one of the most minimalist entries in both resources and sets and internet memes, yet you did so much with it! The writing was amazing, great comedic timing, interesting characters, and I wanted to see what happens next!

Great job guys!

Very good. This is tied with Carmen.01 for my favorites. I like it very much, seems both funny and intriguing

Heh, thanks Noirguy. Imagine what we could do with a budget :) That second sentence made my day; I forwarded it to the director and my co-writer who played Wyatt. Means a lot to us.

Thanks Varya! Funny and intriguing is perfect. Thanks for letting us know what you thought.

I really liked this entry, I am just curious about where it is going? I know its just a pilot (an a really good one) but it really doesn't give much of an idea, at least visually, the style of the series. I guess I just wanted to see some planning and scheming, perhaps a hint of some action sequences to really give me an idea of where this can go. Currently I really don't see this progressing a huge amount with such small instalments, it looks as if it was shot as a sure thing instead of a pilot for the series. Just my opinion, take it with a whole bucket of salt. Good luck guys

I'm having trouble expressing just how good this thing is. Just from seeing the thumbnail on the contest page, I already pretty much decided I hated it. Then suddenly I was smacked across the face by good writing, Woody's stellar acting, and a commodore Hustle reference. You get a nice shiny vote.

Ooo! Shiny! Thanks Wolfenbarg! Didn't think the thumbnail would get a reaction like that but I'm pleased as punch we were able to impress you so much with the pilot. Man, looking back on it I really should have kept the character names from my Commodore Hustle character and BB the same. That would have been a great universe-bender. Very much appreciate the support.

Well Tower 87, you get some planning and scheming at the end and a sense that this will be harder than just walking in and tapping some keys and with no budget and 48 hours this is what we put together. We'd rather have the chance to get you interested in the heist and what's at stake than immediately have them rappelling from rooftops in bad green screen. We give you the tease of "Well...didn't it?" At the end to assure you that they do go through with the heist, but you'll have to wait and see for how they actually did it.

It was mostly because of the title to be honest. I figured that this would be an uninspired show about Blizzard fanboys playing their games to comedic effect. I definitely didn't expect a heist premise.

As for the name, I don't suppose it's too big of a deal. That character was comically gung-ho, while your new character doesn't seem like he would grate nerves so much. Would be amusing if you referenced Josh Bender later in the series though.

Woody, you made gaming humor that wasn't "Let's get pulled into a video game" or "Let's have my hot friend dress up as female gaming character X" or "One regular roommate and one erratic one and their adventures in boring fucking shit" or "Let's boldfacedly rip off another Escapist series."

I put all my chips behind you.

Oh King Kool, that is such a terrible bet to make.

Thanks dude. We want to get our video game humor inside a fast-paced, tight caper comedy that has some heart and stakes in it. If they fail, lifelong friends get separated and possibly go to federal prison. If they succeed, they've changed the face of a very popular franchise. Either way, there's something concrete that people can somewhat relate to. They're not trying to save the world, they're just trying to preserve the status quo at great risk to their freedom. Escapist willing, we'll be making a lot more overt stylistic choices in the vein of "Ocean's 11" and then the tactical espionage games that we all love. I just want Fisher's tri-goggles. That's all I ask.

Oh, and Wolfenbarg, I'm sure we'll find a way to get Josh Bender into it. I mean, the guy's a giant douche :)

Amazing video quality and cinematography. It's not the first thing I would have imagined that I would enjoy but I could definitely see this being a fun run.
