Don't worry too much people, It's more of a friendly suggestion than a warning. Hopefully :p

You missed to viewing badges, Sexy Elf: "Someone got their sexy elf on in The Escapist Show" and DDKR Champion: "Can't get enough DDKR on The Escapist Show". Susan Arendt has them on her profile. There is probably more of those badges yet to come for ZP.

It was decided that those two badges will be left out until we know specifically what they're for.
Probably for specific episodes.

You might want to update that at some point. Just an unimportant detail, but I've had a name change. Hence 3.141592654 in tags links to my profile.
I totally missed the memo on that.
And here I thought you were some guy I vaguely recognized but didn't quite remember.

That's sort of the point; I wanted to descend back into obscurity. Of course, it didn't really work too well considering how active I am here. I even got [a href="http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.143644?page=2#3219899"]Cockneyed[/a] about it.
I think I remember reading that but it was before we were close allies of hunting. On a related note, after checking that thread again I discovered that I too have been cockneyed!:

Actually, this is pretty fun...

Nivag may look like a harmless viking, but really he the monarch of a hellish community on Vancouver Island - he is the VI king. He achieved this state of affairs by bringing out a new currency of Escapist badges - all the members of the Escapist badge hunters, like me, are actually inhabitants of Vancouver Island trying to achieve freedom - the cost of a boat to get away from the island is 1000 badges, not all of which exist, meaning overpopulation, like shortness, is a growing problem.

Edit: Woah... This was my 1111[sup]st[/sup] post, and I didn't even realise it! I must have subconciously forced myself not to waste it!
I quite like that :p If anyone asks, this is definitely what is going on.

On a serious note
I reckon the 'sexy elf' badge will be for watching one specific episode which... obviously has a sexy elf in. As for 'DDKR Champion', there's more than one reference to DDKR throughout The Escapist Show so it's just a matter of finding all the episodes that has one. Assuming that's what the badge is for of course.

Well, seeing as you didn't change your avatar for a bit afterwards, and you had Anniversary Letters (which, as I have said before was only given to three people other than myself [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.84454?page=22#2583241]) it was a bit obvious I found. I didn't know you wanted to become obscure though, that I just made up and later found out about on Newclassic's other thread Canyon, Coffee and Conversation [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.143916#3224025].

On topic, a quick search of DDKR on The Escapist has given quite a few videos (about 5 or 6) with comments about dancing kittens in them. There may be others, but currently, the ones with comments about DDKR (I don't watch The Escapist Show) are:
Episode 35 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.121913]
Episode 24 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.107013]
Episode 30 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.115455]
Episode 29 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.114087]
Episode 26 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.110140]
Episode 28 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.112854]
Episode 34 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.120739]
Episode 33 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.119399]
Episode 48 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.131733]

Please note: These are only going on the comments, as I don't watch the videos and am not in the mood to spend that much time going through every episode, especially with the amount of work I have currently.

Also, in the two days I have been on holiday, the badge hunters group (a group who I recieve posts updates from) recieved about 80-85 posts. Add that to the tech team group who recieved a few posts (and I recieve post updates from as well) and the badges themselves, and I had 105 PMs after my two day holiday in total. I have never had my PM inbox build up that much before.

Oh, okay.
Makes sense.

Why did you want to descend back into obscurity, anyways?

Mostly because I don't like being well known. This way, all the mistakes and miscommunications that I have been responsible for will become nothing more than a distant memory to those concerned. It's something of a fresh start for me in this community (beyond those I told immediately).
That's pretty cool. I wish I could get a fresh start in real life.

`Twas nothing, really. And you may shorten my name to just IBM, unless you really enjoy writing it, which is perfectly fine. I enjoy it, tremendously.

Anyway, I´ve been wondering; Will this thread be serving any purpose in future, now that we have the user group and all? Are you willing to keep both of them up and running (You have been doing a mighty fine job, I must say)?

Nah, I enjoy using your full name because it makes comments sound really funny and almost surreal.

I'm definitely gonna keep the thread and the group running. They're good for different things. This is good for seeing all the badges ever from the beginning 'til now, and The group is good for people to hear about the newest badges as soon as they're available (most of the time). Also, the group has been much easier to maintain since I hired my crack team of hunters so it might not be as much effort as it seems from the outside.

Okay, that´s fine. Jolly good.

Sounds easy being in charge of things. Almost makes me wish I had lackeys.
Yeah...but it´s nice to hear this thread will live on, as a warehouse, or maybe a museum. Ooh, we should hire a tour guide: "And on our right, ladies and gentlemen, we can see the coveted Pony badge, which was given only to ones deemed worthy. It was lost during the Great Pony War, but reappeared again half a decade (The Escapist Chronology) later, under mysterious circumstances."

...Nah! It probably wouldn´t work.

Ahaha that entire post made my day. You definitely have a unique way of looking at this thread. And I'm totally cool with you being the official tour-guide for this museum. You also just gave me a cool idea for a picture banner for the top of the original post.
