[HEADING=2]The Escapist Jam Session[/HEADING]
Welcome to the Escapist Jam Session, a thread where members are able to upload videos of themselves playing music to show the whole community their talent or just to have fun doing so. This thread is designed for people to enjoy being able to play their favorite song for an audience, a chance to record music and put it up on the internet for others to see, to listen to something new and most importantly - to have fun doing so! So please, I encourage all members of this site who enjoy playing music to record videos and put them up, I'm sure you'll enjoy doing so and will be met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
[HEADING=1]Rules of This Thread[/HEADING]
1. You're going to need a youtube account in order to post videos. Unless someone else knows another way to upload videos onto this site with ease, you're going to have to create a youtube account in order to upload videos of yourself. Videos can be linked using: [ youtube= your video key ] (where your video key is the code after v= on youtube and there is no space between the words and the square brackets).
2. Audio links are also fine. If you don't want to link a video then we'd love to hear what you can do just with some audio backing. I'm not sure how to link audio files yet though, so if someone is able to let me know that would be fantastic!
3. Only post videos of yourself, or your band if you have their permission to do so. This is especially important. This thread is a community thread where the community can show off their individual talents, not someone elses. Basically, if it's not of you, don't post it.
4. No flaming. This should be obvious, but please don't denegrate other members videos. Constructive criticism is fine, after all part of the reason we're doing this is to enjoy ourselves and to improve our skills, not be paid out for what we've done.
5. All videos will be accesible via this opening post (or the next one as we're quickly going over our character limit). I'll put everyone who post's videos up on here to make it easier for people to access them.
6. Enjoy yourselves! This site is quite musically talented from what I've seen, so please, feel free to post videos of yourself for others to see. We'd love to see what you can do!

As this thread has evolved it has become a place where members have gotten together in order to produce music by each contributing their own part and having it mixed together into a song. Currently we're still in the 'working things out' stage, but with enough support we're going to be able to make our own band with songs produced by people from all over the globe.
