The score (and my piano-playing friend) tell me it is F Sharp. This is all I can say, as I know not much more. GCSE music teaches you how to play, not how to read/discern unfortunately. Fortunately, I have a friend who can teach me.Inverse Skies said:Also which key is it written in? It looks like A minor from your video with the A flats...jonnopon3000 said:Snip
Thank you much for the compliments. And yes, it is the Super Mario theme. I will upload it to youtube either within the next few hours, or tomorrow afternoon. I have it near perfect, but a couple of the baselines sound a little clumsy due to the fact that I was inexperienced.Inverse Skies said:Awesome! I love it! I remember watching Stargate all those years ago, and I always enjoyed the opening theme for it, so hearing it on the piano was great to hear!jonnopon3000 said:Snip
You do miss the use of a pedal though, those silences between bars could be expertly meshed together with one, but sadly that is one of the limitations of a keyboard, that and no volume variation. Still these things aren't your fault, so what you've done is great! I'd love to hear your next piece (Super Mario something from memory?)
Also yeh, I do miss the use of pedal I get at school and at my friend's house on a real/slightly better electric piano. Sounds no where near as good. Also, the electric I use at school has certain effects I can implement that make it sound close enough to the real thing you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. For shame...XD
