At this point I'd recommend Archaeology, but I don't know which if any Technologies will render our Mohawks obsolete.

As for Helsinki, I can't find a reason why we shouldn't ignore him as a friend... And that's all I can think of on top of my head.

(You may notice that I just stop posting if less than two people chime in. KEEP POSTING, PPL.)

Here's our British front:

(I had a shot of the Greek front, but it got lost.) We're winding up to kick Sparta out.

Also, SCIENTIFIC THEORY!

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/540654246576600634/66D9BD66A92A1A486A6B9B7BBD6E3E1E2483B0EB/

Coal has been revealed!

Sadly, our expansive empire houses no coal... at all (!!!) Thankfully, Athens and Helsinki do! When we take Athens, we can star a coal-mining operation, and until then, we can just buy coal from Helsinki.

And then three great things happen to us.

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/540654246576604373/20D4E609585B23936A62ED97EB7563FA4E8BDA85/

(We still manage the top three every time. I don't know how.)

Now, before we blow the Great Scientist on a tech, we may want to wait until we have a more substantial research project... say, Biology...

(No major decisions here, I just don't have a lot of update time today.)

I believe we're currently around 11 techs away from combustion and therefor that many away from getting tanks. (please clarify this)

It is technically feasible to jump all the way into combustion in 30-60 turns. We get another social policy in 12 turns and that doesn't sync up very well with getting combustion, so waiting one more social policy till we get our two free techs is advisable.

During that time we can probably pocket 1-3 more great scientists with our specialists producing great people points. We can also engage in 1-2 research agreements as well. Throw in Oxford university, standard research, and the next social policy for 2 free techs and we can make the 11 tech jump easily.

With that assumption I say we pocket our Great Scientist and avoid picking that free tech from rationalism till the policy jump after our next one. As well as throw our research into Gunpowder > Chemistry > Military Science > Metallurgy > Rifling > Fertilizer > Steampower > Dynamite > Replaceable Parts > Railroad > Combustion.

With the final areas researched via great scientists, oxford, research agreements, rationalism policy.

We then take our massive horde of gold and see about upgrading Mohawk warriors into infantry while building a few tanks and then see how the English/Romans feel about us.

But but but... free techs! I neeeeeed them!

*scurries off into a corner to sulk*

Oh fine, I agree that we should wait for a big research to come along before we spend our lovely scientist.

As the update has changed the tech tree layout, the wiki is now useless, so I shall simply state that I want Replaceable Parts, and whichever techs lead up to that receive my vote (I'm experiencing deja vu, I think I may have typed this before).

Delayed due to

#include<stdio.h>

main(int argc, char argv) {

}

University homework is FUN! ;_;

Programing in C++? What class is it for & what kind of program are you writing? Simply curious.

Don't forget to indent your curlies-braces for readability the above is bad form in terms of readability. (I'd totally deduct points if I was grading)

I tried indenting, but tab doesn't work in the forums.

Anyways, it's C (just plain old C), in a class on learning to use C, and I have to parse input and fire it to standard output. It's not hard, supposedly.

Including Archeology, we are eleven techs away from combustion, yes. Unless I fail at counting.

Oh look, Alexandra is back.

Looks like Elizabeth wants in on it as well.

On another note, Helsinki and Genoa, two city-states we're very interested in, have new requests, both not too hard to pull off!

Do I smell us toasting a new wonder with wine in the future?

Archeology researched. I'm assuming Gunpowder is next, seeing how it's one of two choices...

(Notice the delicious Biology calling to us, even if it's not part of the Combustion run.)

Anyways, Waltzburg has run out of things to do. Queueing time!

Also, we walked over to Sparta and forced our way in! Burn it, or keep it?

By the way, guys, I'm a camp counselor (for lack of a better term) over this weekend, so go nuts discussing your options, the game will continue as normal on Sunday.

Spit in pretty-boy's face, laugh in Elizabeth's, and give those two city states what they want.

Spend the great scientist on Biology; we're gonna need it for Electricity, might as well get it now.

Erect a Public School in Waltzburg, for science, followed by a Frigate. Let us sail the seas for booty and plunder! Buckle my swash, and so on. Then another Workboat, to stick on those fishies to the east.

And finally, to quote the famous documentary 300, "Sparta will burn to the ground!".

Maybe the Greeks would do better if they had Leonidas leading them. Maybe.

At some point we're going to wind up replacing the Mohawk Warriors with the technologies we've discovered. I'd go with Biology for now, but we may need to focus on Metallurgy and Chemistry.

I don't see a reason to keep Sparta. Raze the thing and focus on the next city when you've rebuilt the army. Speaking of, what does the Iroquois war machine look like nowadays?

.... And pretty much ditto in regards to Mr. Thin's commentary.

Whoa, someone else responded!

I'll update this thing tomorrow, after handing the last of my assignments.
