In this case, the Xbox 360 version is the one we were sent, and the one that was being played for review.

Besides that, the console versions are easier to record video on, given the option. We've got a good setup for capturing HD video on the consoles, with the video being run through both a capture box and then out to our TV. Capturing video on the PC, on the other hand, means the same machine is both running the game and recording the video, so the quality isn't guaranteed.

And, as much as it may hurt to acknowledge, more people will play the console versions. It's a better representation of what most people will experience to show footage from the Xbox.

I see, that makes sense! I always thought there were special video capture cards that would do most of the processing, but I suppose I didn't know anything about that. Also, thanks for the polite response.

To be completely honest, the switch from console to PC made the combat seem less, I guess flowy would be the best word? Not as smooth might be a better choice. The combat just seemed to flow on console to me, not so much on PC, though that's just my opinion. I'm having a lot of fun with Dragon Age 2 so far, though.

PC is my preferred system of choice, so of course I'm going to gravitate towards it. From the videos I've seen about the console version of it, however, the playstyle seems clunky and awkward to follow. Maybe that's just because I don't often play console games, so the keyboard layout is something I've memorized whereas I don't have ever game console's controller memorized.

The DLC character Sebastian is a pretty good archer rogue as well, but I'll likely stick with Verric if just for the fact Bianca improves as he levels.

That is how the escapist does things...New game comes out, and in the review section there are a few pages about the biggest game out.

just a quick question, is there really no reason to mention carver? I mean i know he can survive if you pick mage but I don't know if he passes the same fate as your sister does later in the game

We simply thought it best to not spend time explaining and/or spoiling the whole brother sister thing and rather focus more on the other members, class abilities and such. Neither of them of have specializations as well.

you know what's funny? they don't both avaline and merill don't most women in-game don't the only one with a bigger then regular bust are your sister when varric is spicing up the story and then he gets told off and she reduces to normal bust and isabella

Those of you who haven't played Dragon Age at all shouldn't be making generallizations based on gameplay footage. I play a veriety of games, and of them all Dragon Age has to be the most unique. The only thing I can possibly compare it to is a fusion of turn based and action RPG games. While it may look like other titles, such appearances disapear the moment you begin to play the game. Initailly, the only reason for such things to be thought of is the new art style used in the sequal aloug with the more action orietated animations.

At least in the demo, yes, she does.

It's really rather distracting that all the women in Dragon Age are so well-endowed, to the point where they can't wear men's armor. Maybe a wizard did it.

Of course a wizard did it! What do you think he spent all those years and money on wizard school for - casting fireballs? Sheeeeeeit if you can't cast "gonzo knockers for all gals on the globe" then you might as well just be a fighter.
