I haven't had the chance to participate in a wank thread in a long while. I feel a list coming on...
The Escapist has slowly become less and less my home on the internet as it was in the past. There are still quite a few people I remember and wish I still had the initiative to talk to more. Forgive me but I must separate you into categories, my friends, to help me forget as few people as possible. Though, that said, I am trying to make this list as short as possible, so if you aren't on it and talk to me reasonably frequently, it's because I have don't have the time right now, not because I don't remember you.

I used to frequent IRC and I made a few friends there. I still drop by but there are a lot of strange new faces and people seem to get upset very easily. Nevertheless I have friends from there
NewClassic: Easily one of the nicest and most genuine dudes I can think of. I consider him a personal friend and I'm sorry I've seen so little of him in the last while. I've been an incredibly harsh jude of his writing at (cough cough) certain times, but he consistently puts forth interesting and well-put thoughts and his posts are always worth reading.
Empireth: Is a very friendly face and one of my fellow Canadian IRC frequenters. I still have yet to hone in on her location (I'll find you!!!) but she's always a pleasure to talk to.
ThePoodonkis: Is another one of those guys who I'm always happy to see and always seems to be happy to see everyone else. I don't think he's ever missed a "Howdy" on IRC, to the point where he's been confused with a bot. He'll always be my fellow obscure Homestar Runner reference of the IRC.
DirkGently: Early on in my life on the IRC I met a great man. He-fived me on every pun and spoke his mind (sometimes to the shigrin of the mods). Later, after a small Skorgy, it was determined that I was his wife and that, apparently, Erana was our child. Though I believe we were separated from her when a Stone Labyrinth attacked us. I forget. I think I was a librarian too? Oh well...
Maet: Maet is a really good man to talk to. He hails from the same hometown as me, too. I have a healthy respect for his opinions on film, games and he functions as one (what I consider to be) the best judge on Review Wars, bearing not the same harshness as me and retaining a rational head.
Xitel: Xitel was the first person to really welcome me onto IRC and was/is consistently friendly to me... until one day... I think Xitel may regret every warm greeting he has ever given me because of the immediate and inevitable following of a string of puns. I think had I met in in real life, my spine would have been torn out several times over. Somehow that doesn't bother me.

Escape Artists:
LaCoil: Though I know LaCoil through IRC and Skorgies, I will always consider LaCoil foremost as a talented artist. Starting my favorite thread on the forums and providing useful feedback to me and allowing me to shoot ideas about her work. In addition she's a very funny, intelligent and pleasant person to chat with.
Zemelac: I love talking art with Zemelac. He's provided useful feedback to me and I love helping him out whenever I can. He's a man after my own heart in his attention to world-building and his creation of illustrations to help him realize that world.
Fanboy: Is another man after my own heart in two ways. Firstly in that he is a fantastic artist and an absolute wizard with PhotoShop. In addition he is my brother in arms on pun front, being an arm and a leg cleverer than I with his and a little less spammy with them.

Plain ol' Forum Buddies:
Baby Tea: Is a terrific man, whose opinions I hold in fairly high regard. I had the pleasure of playing X-Box Live with the man one time, and he's a really hilarious guy. I haven't been on Live in a while, let alone RS:V2. The ability to play with Tea is one the greatest regrets I have about that fact.
Souplex: Previously on the Escapist: Souplex is someone who I uphold as one of the funniest guys on the Escapist. He has flattered me ludicrously on three occasions that I can think of off hand and is one of my favorite people on the forums.
