So how should we do next round? Someone thought that it could go even thousands be Team A and odd thousands be Team B. People who haven't gone Gonzo could be 0XXX making them an even team. Less likely to switch sides that way.

[HEADING=1]The Wait Is Over! The Tug of War Games Has Come To an End!. Only One Team Will Emerge Victorious[/HEADING]

And that team is:

[HEADING=2]TEAM A![/HEADING]

The Gonzos have fought bravely and against, literally *some* opposition, has won it with all odds. It took 8 days to do it but January 17th is victory day and all who came here will remember it..

Honourable mention goes to the Runner Up team:

[HEADING=2]Team B[/HEADING]

Valiant effort from Team B but the Paperboys, Muckrakers, Scribblers, etc..etc..could not overcome the sheer posting prowess of team A. Alas, it just wasn't meant to be!.

Does anyone want a second round out of curiosity?.

A second round will require a new point distribution system, since it is quite obvious that Gonzos have a lot of time on their hands.

I would say a new socring system is necessary, the non gonzo's do -2 rather than -1 and team A is ONLY people with the title of Gone Gonzo

I actually have an idea that could work. If one's name begins or ends with a vowel or a number they are on Team A, if not they would be on Team B. It might be a tad confusing by I think it could work.

We could switch teams.
Switching teams with the same criteria will only result in us winning again. It's fun but not really fair..

Unfortunately, the Master Archivists and Wordsmiths are key players in the forum games. Excluding them will make them most unhappy.

That could work: names starting/ending with a vowel or a number vs those that don't.
Someone also suggested raising the point system where everyone below 3000 is assinged Team A while team B is all those above.

Problem is post counts change. It'll be hard to keep track of even or odd numbers then.

I say option 2
