The Escapist Votes: Nuke My Avatar Grand Finale!

I vote for Cloontang, albeit I'm a bit sad we're getting an avatar that is quite pleasant.

Perhaps having us vote was a bad idea, it's pretty clear we'd want to avoid getting stuck with a truly awful one, thus vote for a decent one.

This has always been my problem with NMA, people have always voted for 'funny' ones when the whole point of the game is to choose awful ones. What the hell is bad about either of the two leaders?? I would gladly use both of them as my regular avatar and I have no problem using them for a week. I just think the whole thing is pointless, we want people to think, "Ugh why do so many people have that awful avatar" not, "Oh look... a lot of people have that avatar."

This is true. What do you suggest we do though?

The only thing I can think of is you decide the avatar but that kind of takes the fun out of the whole voting process. I really don't know but clearly the concept of embarrassing avatars doesn't appeal to the people here.
