The Escapist vs. Two Other Gaming Websites

Welcome to The Escapist! It is safer here. (Don't remember who first said that, could be L.B. Jefferies) I used to go on Game trailers to watch the new Screwattack stuff, but some of the new things seem on the side of desperate (see the Top 10 video game Beards). Also the some of the comments make me thankful that I frequent a site that prides on making sure that words are spelled correctly and correct grammar. I used to have a Gamespot account, but that site is filled with so many fanboys, it's surprising that opposing factions haven't burned the site to the ground.
My first forum site was Runescape (no joke, I was young and if I would gouge my eyes out with penises before going back) then my balls dropped and I moved to GameTrailers (home of the pretentious PS3 fanboys) and ScrewAttack. All sites had flaws, Runescape is for prepubesant twats who haven't played a real MMO before, GameTrailers is flooded with fanboys and I was a total troll there, and ScrewAttack doesn't have enough people on the forums. Even the Escapist has flaws, the mods are very strict (don't ban me please!) and there's lots of grammar nazis so I have to type as if I were writing an essay.
