Hung Gar wushu, along with Brazilian jiu jitsu. I'm great on the ground, and thanks to the Hung Gar, I only go there when and how I want to.

Some martial arts, but that was when I was a little kid and prior to some other stuff that occured. Since then its been mostly sporadic business such as playing with weapons with one or two friends of mine as well as some shooting guns at a family friend's home. Endurance I guess would be my biggest problem, and the fact that I can't really run very fast. But where I lack in actual movement speed I make up for in agility, excellent coordination, and a ferocious temperament that is probably as effective a tool as one could get.

I've not been in a fight, nor do I really expect to get into one. I am just not the type of person that any sane person would want to start a fight with because people who know me believe that I have no self-restraint, and they are right about that. If I did get into a fight, i'm afraid that i'd probably end up killing the other person because i'd have no compunction to hold anything back.

I've got no formal training, but when I fight I tend to go completely apeshit on my target. Playing games and watching movies has paid off, I could probably bust out moves from 20 different styles, maybe not very well, but still. You get your opponent down on the ground and you pound him like the frackin' Hulk, it doesn't matter how elegantly you do it.

Rugby, the training thereof, heavy build and 6'3''.

I'm not actually a violent person, like, at all, but my size leaves some nice preconceptions in people's minds that helps prevent fights.

I've only ever had one person who decided to ignore those feelings and fight me, he was one of those stereotypical little guys who seem to have something to prove. He was about 5'4'', thin, light and plucky. He ended up in a hedge with a black eye while his friends were in hysterics with his pride utterly broken.

So my experience in fighting is very sparse, but I seem to have a natural defence mechanism instead.
bhahahahaha that's awesome

*ahem* 8 years of Karate :D

knives are freaking useful man.
Don't worry, your life will most likely never depend on it. Knives are almost useless for self-defense. Partly because you probably won't get the chance to actually pull the knife out by the time you realize you're being attacked, and because knives are lethal weapons and have a lot of legal issues tied to them, and because any situation that would warrant lethal force is something you should just run away from.

Couple years in Kung-Fu as a kid, and now I do fencing. (Though that's not exactly applicable in real life.)

No real formal training, but I've been in a lot of fights and used to run a bit of a fight club at the top of a parking garage on Sundays, after the mall closed. Had the shit kicked right out of me a few times, and spilled a lot of other people's blood on that concrete. My greatest skill lies in my pain tolerance, and my ability to get up after just about anything.

A lesson I know only too well.

I can throw a few punches, and I've won a few fights, but I don't have any formal knowledge of any fighting style.

I just punch like a mad bastard and then headbutt them.
block, punch your face whilst you thrust it at me.
I have done roughly 18 months of the kung fu that MAD Bruce Lee. I am a teenager and can overcome fully grown men.
Despite this my favourite fighting style has to be Shot-Gun.
If you punch him while he headbutts you you could break your hand. Step back and grab him by the ears, then he's fucked.
just do a strong uppercut to the chin (and by block i mean do a proper block: step out of the way) in that regard he will be left unconscious and not my problem.
Besides; grabbing his hair? Street moves don't work.

Learned karate as a kid, but never used it.
I use my head, and exploit my opponents weakness. If hes slow, I use speed. If hes agile, I use counter-attacks.
When I'm feeling lazy a kick in the nads works.
There are no rules in a street fight.

I have some Akido and karate training, i've tried boxing for a few years but its so simple that i dont think of it as "formal training", its just to do what feels natural.

But with weapons i've been trained in Phalanx fighting (shield and defensive strategy), long spears, Saxon Long-knife and battle axes.

I just tapped into to my Viking ancestry.

About 9 years of martial arts in all, 5 years of MMA, 3 1/2 years of Tae Kwon Do, and 1/2 a year (and ongoing) of Krav Maga. Some judo's in there too.

Throwing people is fun.
