Perfectly coordinated, Damien complemented with a wall of shadows from the opposite direction of Revelation. "It's not to keep you from seeing, it's to make me stronger!" Damien yelled. He had an idea, and used his final power. "Omnipotent? Then why on earth is he sending angels to kill all of humanity? Couldn't he just make it so that we were good again, or even never fell? Or, failing that, if he was omnipotent, couldn't he just wipe us out with a thought? Why would he even need you guys? If God is omnipotent, then why are you here, doing what an omnipotent being could do in the blink of an eye?"

Damien's final power is twisted hearts to darkness and influencing him. It is not outright mindcontrol, you still have some control, but it is one hell of a mind screw. His words get stuck in your head and don't wanna leave. left in bold for your convienience.

Ansiel took Revelations hit on the chest his amour strengthened from his healing in Heavens light. Revelation was well within Ansiels long reach. He grabbed the fallen Angel swinging his cuffs onto his wrist and snapping them shut, sealing them, they would only open to Ansiels touch.

Damien's mental attack reeled through Ansiels head but he knew to listen would be fatal. With Revelation constrained, Ansiel leveled his spear at the fallen born, and stabbed foward utilising his superior speed to close with Damien.

The cuffs stop any use of powers, limit strength and speed, but do not stop them from moving.

The fresh air made the difference to Isiah, centuries of boredom overcome quickly by a chance to prove himself. Perhaps the hearts in his pouch reminded him of his task it's like they continued to beat long after being detached from their hosts. It was a shame Faroth, Diego and Mira had helped the humans, but he would hold the last token of them close to him, perhaps more out of sentiment than duty. He had lost many comrades tracking them down and the humans they had accompanied. The memory of the forest being torn asunder by machine guns, the memory of swords clashing, the look of terror in the families eyes as children where taken from mothers, they took little toll on Isiah. He had seen it before, and had an opportunity for it never to happen again. Those hiding there had been destroyed, the fallen aiding them would have been sacrificed for no other reason than to prolong the humans suffering. How is that kindness? What did they think they'd accomplish?
........I must move on he thought to himself.

A cool breeze swept through the air, a few days flight hadn't made a difference to Isiah. He was following orders to check on the city as a forward scout. It looked liked something was happening on the rooftops ahead, A fight between his bretheren and those fallen souls. He lept into action taking up greater speed landing just ahead of his companions.

On landing dust flies into the air as Isiah unwraps his chain from his torso where it had sheathed. "Hmpf, revelations I still don't believe it."
Suddenly bright pillars of flame appear from the ground, rising sequentially towards Revelations and Damien.

You shouldn't be able to ignore an insight into the deeper mysteries of the Divine, especially since you are devoted to him

Revelation ducked sideways as Ansiel went for the Fallen born, then threw himself out of the way of the flames. Realising that he was being ignored, made his move. He knew well the powers of Ansiel's cuffs, and knew they needed their masters permission to open: this could be obtained...

Ansiel was a giant, even among angels, revelation ran forwards, leapt and beat his wings powerfully, then slipped his arms around Ansiel's neck, the chain drawing tight around the angels neck

"Release me!" he cried, "Or die by your own tools!"

Recovering from Damien's mental attack, Mahzian twisted around, his rapier lashing out uncontrollably as he fought Damien's influence, going into a mad charge at the Fallen Born

Damien sidestepped the blade and the fire, then smiled. When they gave into rage was one of the easiest times to completely twist them. "Look, even Revelation himself has switched sides. If the angel who knows most about god has switched, why do you stay with him? an omnipotent being does not need foot soldiers, he should be able to wipe all of humanity off the face of the earth with a thought! He could have stopped humanity from falling in the first place! Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? Why do you follow him?" Damien said, avoiding each and every one of Mahzian's attacks while delivering his speech.

Not ignring your powers, surley as His Angels, especially ones that have met with him, and being devoted to him, we will know about his mystery and therefore not be blonded by it?

Ansiel gaged as the chain strangled him, he swiped at Revelation, not being able to reach him. He stepped backwards, slamming Revelation and his back with all his might into a wall of the building, the wall colapsing down around them in a hail of steel and bricks.

But God is beyond even angels, an ineffable perfect force that existed even before existance. Angels are still a piece fo this world, and thus are unable to fully comprehend His full thruth and glory

As the wall collapsed around them, Revelation clung on grimly, trying to shield himself with his wings. He was in pain, but he knew that if he let go, things would get a lot worse.

"Let me go, you fool! Release me!"

Lol I'll take that as a viable explanation, next time I see your eyes or grace your armour with my eyes ill be sure to pay attention to your power.

Ansiel refused to touch the mancles around Revelations wrists, instead he grabbed the chain, using his superior strength he flipped Revelation off of his back slamming him into the ground with all the might he could gather. Bones crunched loudly. As he stood up Ansiels hands caught the edge of the manacles by accident they snapped open. Ansiel spun his spear and brought it downwards towards Revelations chest with his full might, enough strength to easily smash the whole way through Revelation, behind the blow.

Sorry for not being active lately - new years and all that. =]

Faethryn paced the rooftop of a nearby building, watching the various factions battling around him. On the ground, in the air - they were everywhere. He had been successful enough in his last battle, but still most of the human marines had been killed or injured.
How can men defend themselves when faced with such efficient destructiveness? The angels have powers mortal men couldn't begin to comprehend. Even with us on their side.......I'm not sure they'll last for much longer.

Below him, angelic swords and spears pierced flesh, ripping beating hearts from human chests. For the most part they went unchallenged. Women were pierced in the back as they fled in terror, men were beheaded where they stood. Even the children were hunted like beasts.
My dear Lord, you don't even spare their young! What have you become?! I........I can't bear it... Please.........please God, see reason!

Seeing no point in dwelling on the events that were taking place, he spread his wings and took to the sky, looking for somewhere he could help out.

Jason listenned for a second. Aside from the bangs and booms in the distance, he heard somethign else. A heavy thud, above him. "They're on the roof" Jason realized. He pumped his shotgun. "Time to do my duty to mankind" he said, trying to ignore how cheesy it sounded. He made his way to the stairs. In ten minutes he was looking at the roof access door. It was locked. He raised his shotgun to the handle and blasted it clean off. Then, he pumped his shotgun and kicked open the door. He was treated to a sight of Angels fighting each other. "The fuck is going on here?" he said in confusement.

Revelation rolled sideways and held out his hand, his sword flashing into his grip. With a beat of his wing he flipped upright, but staggered, still hurt from the impact wit the ground.

Seeing the human, he shouted "Run, mortal! They will not hesitate to kill you!"

Ansiels saw the human, without breaking pace he grabbed a steel gurder and flung it at the human, he held his spear in one hand and lunged for Revelation.

Revelation dived sideways, rolled and surged upright, rising inside the reach of Ansiel's spear and lashing out with Truth for his foe's neck

Jason heard the Angel yell something at him, but he missed it. Then he saw the girder flying at him. "Shit" he yelled as he dived out of the way, just in time. He looked to the angel that had throw it at him. Quickly raising his shotgun, he let off three blasts in it's direction.

The sight of the human only intensified Mahzian's rage and he suddenly changed direction, charging towards the human his rapier flashing, his eyes burning red like fire!

If the human even made the slightest contact with his eyes, his eyes would burst into fire and Mahzian would slay him easily, another step closer to leaving this damned world
