Well, Fallen are supposed to protect humans from angels, and humans themselves are pretty useless. Demons are not as powerful as angels, and are probably not ideal allies for the fallen, since they are EVIL.

Just a few more angels and I think it would work out.
Still, its what 8 on 3? With the numbers alone, you guys win
Answer: give the angels NPC backup! A small force of angels would even the odds...
That would be great, as long as xXGeckoXx promises not to do his "Killed 100 angels in one day.." thing
I have something very very special for that boy. :D relys on us having NPC backup. Ahem I would like to introduce:

Name: Azrael
Race: ArchAngel
Age: unknown
Description: It's features are covered by a black cloak, the depths of its hood looking as if it holds eternity. Its wings are the only angel wings that are pure black. his belt is adorned with sand timers.

Powers: His presence inspires fear amoungst all, even his allies. The mearest touch kills any and all. Almost totally Invulnerble to all but God and lucifers powers

Weapons: He carries a long syth, its edge so sharp it's invisible.

Biography: Azrael has alway been the angel of death, only God is older than him. An entity that all fear, even his brother Angels.
Just something I was playing with XD

Just a quick idea: what if, instead of named individual NPC's, we had a small host or battalion (or even just a little squad) of generic weaker angel/fallen NPC's at each of our disposal?

I think it all depends on how the game starts. Named NPC's will be used to even out the battlefield

Name:Isaiah
Race: Angel
Age: Would look around 35
Description: A strong build wearing a helm, has long blonde hair and a face with a dark complexion, a furrowed brow and sorrowful eyes, with scars across his arms legs and torso. Perhaps the most remarkable feature is that his wings are remarkably strong and larger than average.

Powers (if any): An ability to create a holy flame to cleanse the scourge which humanity has brought upon the world.

Biography: Currently serving under archangel Michael he has been through enough massacres to know what will come, he has served without faltering in gods will since his arms could carry the sword with which to carry out the commands placed upon him. He knows bloodshed well, enough so that he knows the chances of survival with his opponents. A respected fighter often admired for his prowess and feats of strength, but questioned over his sense of morality.

Many have called him blinded by faith and distraught by his disfavor amongst the Lord. He will often pray for a sign to show him his true path in life. When no answer comes he spars, and when called upon he will rampage though the lords enemy's never faltering continuing until every muscle is brought past exhaustion and continuing until the last foe is trampled beneath his feat. Perhaps this was learnt on the days of fighting demons, when the fight between heaven and hell was first served and he was but a naive foot soldier scared of death, hungry and tired, with most of his brethren defeated. (He himself at this point had never spilt an inch of blood and had spent his time tending the wounded to avoid combat.) Until he stumbled across a wounded demon, an easy kill to get the ball rolling, however he couldn't take blood, he wouldn't this war would not be won that easily. He left that demon be and continued to tend the wounded. Later he would discover the triage tent aflame and demons ripping it to pieces =. From that day he realized, give no quarter and follow your superiors commands.

This in hand he began a new chapters in his life. From demon slaying, to slaying the wicked even scorching the earth where such things once laid. Death was his calling but it soon became him, as such when mankind began to grow and he was pulled away from duty he had to watch in horror as mankind began a path of sin. One he was for forbade from correcting. He felt tested, he had to wait for his time to come. The slaughter of mankind was approaching rumors had spread as far for him to notice. Patience was not a strength of his. However obedience was. The time would come for him to atone, he was not to know when.

These days he spends his time sparring against others. Learning from his mistakes and using his ability's in ways to change a battlefield and change the environment into a weapon. Many a time him and his opponents take things to far resulting in days of sparring with one opponent with the winner being rendered unconscious for days and the looser for months on end. Time he would rather loose than sit bored. He Often uses a large chain with both hands to fight, favoring close combat. He follows a motto of. " To learn to fight as a warrior, you must first overcome hesitance. When you no longer so much as blink, then you know truly what god asks, when he asks for your obedience and servitude."

Perhaps it would seem odd, that an angel with such conviction would be in disfavor with god, but that in itself is a past long forgotten by Isaiah.
Feed back appreciated. I can very much see my play on a bored warrior waiting for his time could be a bit too much like "he knew it would happen." As I really don't want that to be the idea being conveyed do tell me to rewrite, or if he's overpowered or if... Actually you guys can pick holes in this for me so i'll stop worrying. Any feedback appreciated.

I don't see why he would be overpowered.

I'm kinda curious how he plans to have PvP...not like our races will exactly be on speaking terms.
Well, the angels and fallen are brethren and, as the GM said, are all on first name terms with each other, so expect lengthy monologues and bitter chats between them.

The demons' main goal is to trick humans into surrendering their souls to them, so I'm sure a lot of talking will be necessary on their part.

Mind if I join?

Name: Damien Lier
Race: Fallen Born
Age: 17
Description: 6'5" with silver hair and ice cold blue eyes. Often wears black gloves and oversized army boots to hide his hands and feet. Instead of having 5 toes, he has 3 talons on the end of his foot and another talon extending out of his heel, flat to the ground. His fingers end in 3 inch long claws, thick and unbreakable. (Look at an Asmodian from Aion for an idea how they look.) Extremely muscular.

Powers: Damien can manipulate Darkness itself, disappearing into the shadows only to appear elsewhere or cloaking himself in the night. His greatest ability, however, it to manipulate the darkness in hearts, able to twist them to his purposes. He rarely uses this ability, as he believes it is dishonorable.

Biography: Damien was born in darkness and in darkness he remains. Born in the slums of Los Angeles, he left his mother at an early age, disgusted with the life of alcohol and debauchery she was living. At age 13, he first used his powers. Running with a gang, Damien wanted out. Instead of letting him go, the leader decided to have Damien killed. At night, while being chased down by the gang, bullets missing him by inches, Damien sought to hide in the darkness he has known all his life. He turned a corner and ran into a pitch-black alley. The leader carried a flashlight, shining it right at Damien, staring him right in his eyes. Yet the leader did not see Damien. Damien realized his new-found seat of power and laughed. the boss became spooked, and started to fire into the night. Damien walked up to him, calm as rain, and grabbed the man's head with his deadly claws. He squeezed, sectioning the man's head like an orange. He then hunted down each and every member of the gang. No record exists for that night.

Weakness: Damien cannot stand bright light. It weakens his powers. He cannot escape into shadows when a bright light is banishing his powers.

We haven't started yet so i don't see why not :)

Very balanced character, but I'm curious about the 'twist darkness in the hearts' power. what do you mean by that, exactly?

instead of people doing the right thing, he can twist them so they follow their baser instincts into darkness. He can see into a person's heart, know what they want, what they struggle with, what they most want to hear, and turn it against them so they think right is wrong and down is up.

That's a really good idea actually - you can influence a characters actions without controlling exactly what they do. (Well, that's what I gather anyway.)

I look forward to seeing you use that and how it works out in the game. =]
