Bout time. I assume the war is just starting, but if not, I will edit this. Also, what are the rules about creating NPC's?

Jason slowly openned his eyes. His radio alarm clock had gone off, and the display read 9:45AM. The song playing was "It's the End of the World" by REM. Jason knew all the words. He slapped the off button and rolled out of bed.
About ten minutes later Jason walked out of the bathroom, tooth brush still in hand. His appartment had a beautiful view of down town Cincinati, and he could see traffic moving up and down the street. The sky itself was darkly clouded, as far as Jason could see. "Looks like it's gonna rain" he said to himself.
Suddenly, the clouds parted in a perfect circle, and a beam of sunlight shone down upon a nearby park. From where Jason was watching, it looked like something straight out of a movie. He felt somehow enlightenned, in an inexplicable way. Suddenly, one lone figure descended through the hole in the clouds. The figure looked human, but with large wings. Immediatly the word 'Angel' came to Jason's mind. He watched the figure slowly descend to the to the park. By now most traffic had stopped, and the people in the sidealks stared up, and thousands of eyes watched as hundreds of Angels started flying down through the hole, although these moved much more swiftly and purposefully.
Within seconds of this sight the book of Revelations came into Jason's mind. "So this is how it ends" he said quietly to himself, and then walked back into his appartment. He had a truely bad feeling about this 'blessing'.

Sounds good then, and my post makes sense. Do you care if I introduce the forces of hell? Make the streets a battle ground? Or should I leave that for later. And while I'm on the subject, do the Angels just start killing shit or do they, idk, try a different tactic? And as for the song, eh felt appropriate.
Jason walked back into his appartment and quickly got dressed. Then he grabbed some binoculars and walked back to the window. He held them to his eyes and watched the angel's slowly descending. They appeared heavily armed for combat. "It's an invasion force" he thought to himself. He walked back into his appartment, grabbed his shotgun, and methodicaly started loading it. "They sure as hell ain't getting me" he thought to himself "Forgive me father, for I shall sin" he finnished his though as he put the last shell in his gun. He pumped it once. Cha-*****. "Locked and loaded" he said coldly, and then proceded to gather the rest of his gear.
