I made this thread to discuss everything Fallout 3 related. To get this thread started I'll ask you a few questions:

1: When you first played the game, were you good, neutral or evil? Explain why.
2: What's the first thing you did when you exited the vault?

-I think a lot of people hated this, but I liked searching for all 100 steel ingots in the Pitt.

-Rivet City, because it seems the most secure.

-Moira Brown, everyone hates her, but I like her, she's happy.

-Not sure.

-Don't remember.

-I'd probably die from rad poisoning.

i was bad straight off the bat, i was going to stay neutral but i stole way too much shit

ran to the school and then mereseti train station...the opposite way to megaton.

I really liked the quest which resulted in getting the tb-51 armor, forgot what its called though.

Probably Megaton, i have grown to love that place way to much to go anywhere else

i got teleported back to mereseti trainstation and i shouted fucking fuck **** quite loudly...its a long run before i know about save

Killed a few raiders at the nearby school.

Gave small guns and repair the most points.

Oasis, because it's brilliant. Least favorite was the Nuka Cola Challenge because I had already drank half of the Quantams or turned them into Nuka Grenades. Took me a day to complete.

Rivet City. Safest and has its own market.

The sherrif of Megaton. In fact I liked him so much I killed him and stole his hat and coat.

Alistair Tenpenny. Prick.

Found a battle I didn't want to get involved in, walked backwards, fell off a cliff and died.

Feel free to ask anything about the game, I'll try to answer it.

1. Evil. Because in an apocalyptic wasteland, any decision that isn't made out of self-preservation is wrong. Plus, I seemed like the only sane person in the entire land. I decided it was preferable to keep the insane population ot a bare minimum.
And on top of that. Owning a well fortified luxury apartment seemed a better deal than living in a dump among people who think a primed a-bomb = god... Foolish fools!

2.I tried to kill a drone because it looked menacing for spouting political propaganda. Then I decided to clean out a local school to safeguard what little was left of the educational system. (and because I needed guns, ammo and bottlecaps).

3. Most in intellect. I'll outwit them all!

4. Humm.. Can't really remember. I suppose getting rid of a certain bomb.. and everything around it.. from a safe distance. "WHAT HAVE I DO- Oh, I'll take the love theme for my NICE place, thanks."

5. Rivet city maybe. Minus some of its inhabitants. Nah, I'll stick to my WELL FORTIFIED TOWER WITH PLENTY OF WEALTH.

6. Clover. "Go go girl, I'll read my pre-war magazine. tell me when they're dead."

7. "Dad." I don't think I deserved that lecture after he dumped me with some crazy bloodlusted cavedwellers.

8. Ants, fiery ones. Lots of them. Didn't bring enough bullets for all of them.

10. Combat shotgun or laser rifle. Fine, I lie. My favourite weapon is a baseball bat in their face, but for practical use, I'll stick with my first choice.

Evil. Always evil at first, but I make other characters in later playthroughs

Looked around, didn't know what the fuck and ran up to Megaton

I tend to go for sneak. Because I'm sneaky.

4: What's your favorite quest? This includes the main mission and the side quests.
The Power of Atom. With the ending which grants me cash and a nice hotel suite

5: If you could chose a town/settlement to live in, which one would it be? Explain why.
Tenpenny Tower. I think that one's obvious.

6: Which NPC do you like the best?
"Die, metal man!"-Fawkes.

7: Which NPC do you like the least?
Never connected with my dad. Hell, I even liked Butch better.

8: What happened when you died the first time?
Super fucking Mutants. Plenty of them.

Get guns. A lot of them. And some grenades for pocket blasting

Either the hunting rifle, railway rifle or the combat shotgun

Went into Springfield Elementary, the raiders scared the hell outta me

Small guns, sneak, lockpick, energy weapons

I liked the Superhuman Gambit and wasteland survival guide
5: If you could chose a town/settlement to live in, which one would it be? Explain why.
The Pitt because it would be easier than going back and forth carrying autoaxes, it would also be nice if the items you put in one house appeared in the other.

Crowley or Liberty Prime
7: Which NPC do you like the least?
Moira Brown, although her quest was really fun
8: What happened when you died the first time?
I tried to break into the armory in Meagaton at level 2 or 3 got killed by the Mr. Handy

1-I am still doing my first play through and I originally aimed for neutral but I am actually good due to the massive amount of karma I get for doing quests.
2-Went to springvale passed through and then continued to megaton.
3-I went straight. I took small guns because they are very useful in general, science by a flip a coin (between science and lockpick) and repair because I wanted to have all my weapons in perfect condition (which is till do). I am now level 20 and invested a lot of points in big guns, Explosives, Lockpick and energy weapons all of them at very high levels. I maxed out sneak as well.
4- I very much enjoyed the quest blood ties which was one of the first ones i did. Tranquility lane was fun and Oasis was awesome.
5- Tennypenny tower. Good British values and a nice view.
6-hmmm Probably MR. Burke or tennypenny Alistar.
7-Star paladin hoss the follower. I had her for five minutes and then fired her.
8-I don't really remember. I think I fell to my death.
9-Be the lone wanderer and take advantage of my new magical save power.
10-I have many unique weapons but I like Ol painless, The Xuanlong assault rifle and the silenced 10 mm pistol the most, The Victory rifle is good too.

I tried balancing them in the beginning, nowadays there's a noticeable spike in small arms & lockpick.

Tenpenny 2.0(after the ghouls move in.

Mayor MacCreedy.Then again, I hate kids anyway.

I was fresh to the Wastes.I was stupid.I ran into a Raider camp with only a 10mm.

Ah, the one where you had to fetch the Stradivarius. I had already raided the Vault and got it, so when I started that quest, I just needed to hand it over.

Rivet City. Why? Because it's homely in an apocalyptic kinda way.

[Wastelanders] they're always fun to watch.

Dad.

Good, that's how I always start any game
2: What's the first thing you did when you exited the vault?
Wondering where Megaton is, so I just walked around killing mole rats.
3: How did you decide your stats? which stat did you invest the most points in?
What I'd think would be the most useful, which was charisma, intelligence and strength.
4: What's your favorite quest? This includes the main mission and the side quests.
I have yet to complete most of the sidequests, but I would say The Power of Atom.
5: If you could chose a town/settlement to live in, which one would it be? Explain why.
Rivet City, because it's the safest. If it's too far away I'll pick Megaton since it's also safe.

Three Dog, he keeps me entertained when I'm wandering around.
7: Which NPC do you like the least?
Dukov comes to mind.

Either Raiders or Super Mutants (which I though were boss fights at the beginning -_-)

- I was evil. Why? Because God would not make fire if you were not to play with it.

- Stealth. Then I realized that wasn't the type of player I was.

- Clearing out the memorial.

- Tenpenny tower, because they all die fast. And because of sniping everyone else.
6: Which NPC do you like the best?
- Jonas. But they killed him. WHY?!
7: Which NPC do you like the least?
- The Overseer. Because he killed Jonas. Circular logic always wins!

- You know the Outcasts? You know how they have miniguns and lasers? Yeah, me neither.

- Go to the nearest town, get a rad suit and a rudimentary gun, then rise up to become King.
10: What's your favorite weapon?
- That laser that shoots nine rays in one shot. I forget what it is called.


However, Oblivion is better.

1. Very good, and have been ever since. I did it for Three-Dog's love.

2. I smacked some raiders in the face with a baseball bat.

3. I decided on my favourite weapons, and went from there. 100 small guns ftw?

4. Hmm, this one is a toughie. Would probally go for the escape from Eden's base though.

5. Old Olney. I would love to step out of my safely fortified house, and into the fresh smell of Deathclaw blood every day. I have quite a nice spot near a unmarked Raider location though, when I can snipe for miles.

6. Dogmeat, if he counts. If not, Clover.

7. Commander Jascbo. That dick set turrets on me!

8. I tried to see if I would jump high if I shot the Fat Man at the ground.

9. Pwn bitches with ma Sledgehamma!

10. I have alot of love for my Combat Shotgun. It's a trusty bastard.

I liked it because i died in a large mini nuke explosion!

Run and hide and a small town (like arefu) and craft explosives for a living

- Good. That's how I roll. I go evil with my second character always.

- Walked around Springvale. Picked up 5 grenades from a mailbox. And raided a my first Nuka-Cola machine and got a Quantum. Then headed to Megaton.

3: How did you decide your stats? which stat did you invest the most points in?
- I decided by looking at my playstyle. Small Guns had the most.

4: What's your favorite quest? This includes the main mission and the side quests.
- Stealing Independence. Telling that robot to self destruct never gets old.

5: If you could chose a town/settlement to live in, which one would it be? Explain why.
- Rivet City. Safe there. I like my house with an ocean view.

- Don't know.

- Don't know.

- I died?
