Let's face it, everyone is going to be Sith. We can either embrace this fact or fight a losing battle.

My personal plan to stop all the Sith roleplay will be my char Darth Fluffykittens.

Unlikely. Plenty of people acually prefer being the good guy. Plus there ARE people who would rather be a bounty hunter.

No, not really. I already know plenty of people that will be Republic, and most likely i will roll Republic. I like being the underdog faction, especially when it comes to PvP. It makes the community tighter and is much more interesting than steamrolling due to numbers.

If I get this game, I will definately choose sith, if only because red lightsabers look fancy.

Hahaha you so crazy OP.

Reading all the overviews of the character classes my first choice was Trooper. I prefer to be the powerful lone dog in a literal horde of people. You get to stand out in a crowd even though you are just like everyone else. Its badass....

Siths can wait...

For me it depends on what i'd be limited to on either side, as well as if i'm gonna look fuck ugly as a sith... I always hated that, but i'll probably roll whatever side my friends are on (which is probably gonna be Republic) but i'll try out the sith as well

I found out recently that the majority of people don't like being evil/bad.

E.G. In APB I thought most people would be criminals and when I start playing it more people are playing enforcer.

Also after a while people will start thinking "Now why am I being evil again?" or at least I do... so many times I choose evil over good... now I just want to be neutral... D:

I actually want to be a jedi knight/consular or a trooper. I actually always pick the good side (kotor, ME, etc.). Sounds boring I know, but I just can't help it!

I'm planning on playing a bounty hunter myself, that or jedi healer. I'm not too worried about imbalance, I think it will be leveled out simply due to a significant amount of people (myself included) who wold rather not play the most populated class, if nothing else just to be a little more unique.

C'mon guys it's true, usually people overwhelmingly want to be the badass bad guy.

It's the reason why we get so many user names called ShadowAssassin, KillerReaper, DeathStrike, EvilDestroyer and variations of those.

It's going to be even worse in TOR where practically everyone has theorised what their Darth name would be, luckily there'll only be one "Darth Assassin" per server.

My biggest concern about TOR is the potential that the emphasis on your character's narrative could make grouping up less appealing.

If they do progressive instances along the leveling way and add rich game play grouping will not be problem. I solo leveled in WoW, AoC most of time as well but always ended up doing group content eventually just because it was natural. Not to mention that if you find some nice people it is more enjoyable to play with them rather than with npcs.
