Ookay, now you've completely lost it.PercyBoleyn said:She contributed to a game, not the gaming "industry". There's a big difference. She didn't improve the pitiful working conditions developers have to suffer, she didn't fight for gamer rights, she did jack fucking shit apart from getting a couple of jobs because of her popularity, that's it.Fappy said:Technically yes. Anyone listed in a game's credits contributed in some sense... except maybe some of the "Special Thanks" listings.
See above. Unless, that is, you're suggesting Jessica Chobot also contributed to "ze vydia industreh" because if you are, this discussion is over.everythingbeeps said:Doing voice acting contributes. She also did the voice for a character in the last Dragon Age 2 DLC, and that wasn't a few lines.
First of all, on what planet does someone need to actually picket EA in order to be said to have "contributed"? (And first-b, since when has this conversation been about who contributes to the welfare of gaming employees? You think that's what Ryan FuckFace was talking about? Pretty goddamn sure it wasn't.)
Second of all, people still do that thing where they deliberately misspell words in order to try to make the other person look stupid?
Third, as much as she sucks, yes, Jessica Chobot's contributed simply by having done voice work in a real game. She certainly hasn't contributed nearly as much as Day, but that's another conversation.
I can't wait to see what nonsense you come up with next.
