Damnit Suarez. Godin played a godlike game, prevented a bunch of goals and scored the only goal.
But what is everyone gonna talk about. Uruguay as a whole are the villains now because one guy one their team is an asshole. FIFA should ban Suarez and just let Uruguay play without them for the rest of the tournament, Forlan should be fine up top.
EDIT: And Costa Rica being awesome. Suarez takes the spotlight away from them as well. At least Italy is gone I guess.

I think he's definitely out of the world cup and I would like to say he's ended his career. He's certainly missed out on a move from liverpool and I dont know if liverpool will want to keep a hold of him. I'm still pissed off about how he single-handedly handballed Ghana out of the world cup and now Italy had to play with 10 men against a team who'd bitten one of their guys. If Suarez had been sent off, that's the main striker who then wouldn't have to be marked for the corner that led to the goal. He's robbed two teams of their world cup places in two world cups and he's bitten three people in four years. But the worst part is we're going to see just how corrupt and dishonourable the football organisations are as once again nothing of meaning happens.
Can't believe Greece got a penalty in the 90th minute and what's even more surprising is that Georgios "the donkey Jesus" Samaras put it in. Samaras is kind of lovable in the same way that a dog chasing its own tail is, A for effort D- for execution.
Rodriguez looks like he could be player of the tournament if Colombia get far enough. He'll probably get unfairly pipped to the post by Neymar though because Neymar(had a good game against Cameroon) is the "Golden Boy". If

Yeah, I think they have to give a serious penalty for it. I originally missed the clip that clearly shows the bite but it's pretty obvious now that he really bit Chiellini. I feel bad for the rest of the team though. They don't have a chance without Suarez. Not that they would have made it far with him either but now they are doomed for sure :/shootthebandit said:

Oh man, this World Cup is one of the most entertaining ones I've seen in ages. Big teams getting their asses handed to them, so many underdog countries doing so so well. Fans from said countries must be having the time of their lives. Tons of fun to watch those surprising matches, Costa Rica's win against Italy was an absolute hoot.
And of course, my own team's wins, the brave Dutchies, have been good too, if a little more...iffy. I'm not sure what they're trying to do, what I'm hoping is that their 'counter-football' is mostly to conserve energy for the upcoming matches. We'll see.
I'm a little more skeptical about my second favourite team, the Belgians. The surprising speed they showed in the qualifying matches seems to be gone, and they struggle against relatively weak teams. I'm still happy they're doing as well as they are but I can't see them getting very far if they keep playing like this.

He got done for biting PSV's Bakkal back in 2010 (2 match ban by his own club, and then another 5 by the Dutch FA)... then got whacked with a 10 game ban for biting Chelsea's Ivanovic in 2013... and now... by the previous trend, he should be banned for at least 17 games from Uruguay's schedule... -_- Which would delightfully equal: international career over...
Yeah, he has one HELL of a short fuse, and it seems to only be getting shorter as he ages...
