Each is played for different styles. Fender is for soft stuff, Peavey is for blues and country, Warlock is for rock, and Beast is for death metal. I'm very varied in my musical tastes. I also have a crappy Fender Squire bass and a

Oh I also have a terrible Peavey amp, but it gets the job done. And a Squire Bass Amp. I need to stop worrying about guitars and get a better amp.

I have a Fender American Tele, Marshall 120 watt 2x12 (tube), an Ibanez PF 10-12 twelve string acoustic, an Ibanez RG 570, a Rogue mandolin, and a Dean banjo.

I'm a guitar major in college so I have a hand-made Alhambra Classical.

I use a Michael Kelly Patriot Custom in sunburst, with D'addario strings (10s, at the minute)

http://www.michaelkellyguitars.com/patriot_custom.html

I've also got a Fender Telecaster in black, white pickguard. It was my first guitar *Cue starry-eyes*

I've got access (to i.e. not mine, family guitars that I use) a Rickenbacker 330 and a Gretsch Electromatic.

Amp-wise, I have a Marshall MG-15-CDR, 30 amp, which suits me fine, and a Fender Frontman, 15 amp, which I don't use now because it's a damn sight quieter than my Marshall.

I'm saving for a Jackson Rhodes, because that guitar is frikkin' sweet!

EDIT: I forgot about my Fender Jag-master! I has a Jag-master ^__^ Not that I compare to Kurt Cobain though.

Alot of bassists here, wow.
Anyway, I think I have some nice equipment.
First, my guitar is a Fender Squier JAGMASTER - really easy neck, fun to play.
My amp is a Pyramid Studio pro GA400, it's really old and doesn't have distortion, but i like it anyway because of the clear sound. my other amp is a small GX-15, and i don't use it.

I also have a Pedal and a Guitar Distortion Processor, but I only use one at a time.

Lets start with the pedal - It's amazing, it's a DigiTech RP200, with alot of custom sounds.
My GDP is a ToneWorks Korg G1, it's super old, but it really does make distortion sexy.
Comments on this?

EDIT: I also have a crappy acoustic and i play using black and red Jazz III picks.

I use a Dean ZBX Bass:

The Line6 amp I use:

For strings, I use Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings, because they are a lot more comfortable to use than several other makes I used.

Lefty Gibson SG Standard (cherry) w/ custom lefty Bigsby [made in Kalamazoo] and white pickguard. The pickups are a "Dirty Fingers" humbucker on the bridge and a 496R zebra ceramic on the neck. I play w/ an old Marshall tube, 100W.

I also have some other gear, not my favorites but they definitely get the job done; lots of memories and effort put into 'em. Ibanez Soundgear bass, 10W bass amp, Mexican Fender Tele (red) w/ Texas Special and Noiseless pickups, Fender tube amp (the Junior), Roland MicroCube, Vox 15W amp, SX GG2 and a few more items like acoustics (steel and nylon string) and an Epiphone Dot.

All of these are lefty. At the moment I'm saving up for a Gaskell Xplorer in black and I hope to get a custom yellow pickguard for it. When I get it I'll probably order a lefty Floyd Rose tremolo in chrome and some DiMarzio/EMG pickups. But I do know I'm gonna put a 500T in the bridge position.

EDIT: I also have a tendency to name my guitars and basses. "Eleanor" is the name of my SG, after the Mustang from the original Gone in 60 Seconds.

A black Epiphone Special Edition II. Essentially the cheapest Les Paul copy out there. Not an archtop or anything. I love her to bits.
Some dubious 15watt amp. And a Zoom multi-effect pedal. The very lightest Ernie Ball strings.
I also have a Valencia Spanish guitar.

I've spent far too much on these things, considering my lack of talent. But it's very relaxing hobby ^^

I quite agree, but I find SGs to be more comfortable to play on. I personally always wanted an Alpine White EDS-1275 w/ gold hardware and that super cool Gibson tremolo. But it'll never happen 'cuz I play lefty and I'm garbage when I try righty. Even if I could get it custom made, it'd cost me my soul (which I don't have because I'm a ginger and we don't have souls).

Ahh, Its a shame.

To be honest (complete n00b moment coming up) Ive never played an SG or a Les Paul, and chances are judging by the price of the Les Paul (£2500+) I'd probably never play it, Id be terrified of damaging it.

I think ill probably buy a Tele Next, They are a comfy guitar to play, Especially to perform with (piked my cousins for an evening when i left laura at home like a fool)
